Has anyone had their weexchange account verified?  7 days since submitting dox and nothing yet for me.

I'm waiting for some changes in the requirements for submitting my request, and improvements in the form, I believe I need to edit my address.

WeExchange needs at least 1 government issued photo id.
A seperate option for this will be added soon.

For those of us who are still contemplating on keeping their shares, will IceDrill be doing direct shares since as a US Citizen I cannot keep my shares on Bitfunder after Dec 2nd.

Yes, our handling of direct shares is a necessity and should be considered a given. On Dec 2nd we'll be given a list of bitcoin addresses and their relevant share holdings. Exactly how we'll handle this share transfer will be made crystal clear well before that date (it's a current priority item).

It seems like they'll be handling the shares directly in-house.  On that note, what will I, as a share holder in the U.S. on BitFunder, have to do to get my shares transferred to you guys?
Will the dividends still be payed at the same time as those that remain on BitFunder?
Also will there be any extra fees associated with you guys handling them in-house as opposed to those handled through BitFunder?

Sorry for not follow the latest news.

As a non American citizen, what if I just want to keep my shares and receive div?

You have to Verify your account at WeExchange.
We are working on a third solution,
If you don't want hardware and you don't want to verify/you are a Us citizen.
Please be patient, we will post more soon.
//DeaDTerra

How will you handle US customers with less than 120K shares or the shares that don't evenly divide into 120K lots? Is this covered by the 3rd solution?

Plenty of faith in progress.  None in anonymous d00dz in the interwebz handing out legal & financial advice.

Well I'm glad we have other anonymous d00dz fearmongering and trying to shake people's confidence in their assets! We balance each other so well, Mr. Crumbs.

Noticed your official-soundin' post on Active Miner, keeping the kids calm.  You suppose it was sporting to not mention that "temporary lack of liquidity" really means "can't sell your shares now, OR MAYBE EVER, at any price?"

Call me crazy, but I've got confidence in the teams of intelligent people who are working on the decentralized exchange problem. In no time at all we'll all be more liquid than ever. Selling your shares will be as easy and unstoppable as sending a Bitcoin.
Have some faith in progress!

Great theory, until you check the trade history and see no one is buying shares at all, period.

Doesn't surprise me given the climate. That doesn't make your decision a better one though.
Please people, stop panicking about losing your shares. If the company was worth investing with to begin with, it's worth hanging onto. There's these things called "Direct Shares", and there's a reason why Bitfunder asked you for a public bitcoin address when you signed up. You'll actually ALWAYS own the asset unless you choose to sell it or the underlying company dissolves in some way.

this is not clear. may have to get out by Nov 1st. Some have not come to terms with that fact yet.

If you'd like to remain an investor, then simply remain an investor! If you can't deal with a temporary lack of liquidity, then get out. Especially with Colored Coin projects being focused on the way they are, it's just a matter of time till your shares are tradable again. Just chill and wait it out.

What the hell is happening to the share price!?

That's basically what I did. It just took a couple months to burn through Smiley

It was only "burned" when you sold it. You had some perfectly good shares up till then. You burned your money when you got rid of shares at a value far below what the market was willing to pay for it, rather than patiently placing the orders necessary to get a fair price. Or better yet, hold onto it until the market isn't severely and artificially deflated. Are you trying to be charitable to non-US buyers or something? You're just giving away money for no good reason, it astounds me.

It crashed because I sold my shares. Their solution to the problems of US citizens were unsatisfactory at best. Good luck with the poor management. Just look at what they're charging for hosting, It's clear they're only out to make money for themselves and don't really care about the 'investors'.

Next time just set fire to a pile of cash, it'll be a lot more dramatic!
