While testing the sliceScheduler I noticed that there are a few other schedulers that come with bitHopper. Which one is the best to use other than the default?

Update: it doesn't hop away from Slush, while they are >15% already...

I put the back-up back, I made before upgrading and wait for the next c00w Smiley

Testing for 10 minutes now, but it didn't hop yet...

It stays on bitcoins.lc (36%) while polmine (29%) and bloodys (27%) are available...

it should slice not hop, I think, look in the console at the getwork's
c00w will break the myth Smiley

Hmm, isn't slicing the same word for "hopping between <43% (or something) pools"?

Getwork is only at bitcoin.lc since I started it.

correct what I've said, time slicing (what we have) is submitting to same pool from available ones any predet. number of minutes, and share based would be balancing between available pools (round-robin) what c00w said it was a little more difficult to implement

edit: we're testing time slicing now and seems it doesn't work like it should

hey, seems like ozco covered their windows so we cannot see in, they have 110 hours from last block so the probabilities are high. I suppose they want to make sure were not counted in the next round Sad

It's working for me? Can you not get to the api?

edit:
no-ip is good one to get a free url to point to your home computer.

you can also get a namecoin.bit addy if you want to stay in the community but you can be limited with access when not using your own equipment

and I have used the .tk guys

I use DynDns http://dyn.com/dns/?dyndns-redirect. It's like no-ip. Also will work well.

edit: I would be more than happy to donate 1% if pool ops. quit doing tricks with stats

you could vpn but yeah.. you need to port forward port 8337 to your mining comp.. it's pretty easy. Here is a site that some say helps you can pm me questions about it. Here is also a good tut from the minecraft heads.. just change the port to 8337 in the example

but yeha you open the port and suddenly you have a webpage you can go to from anywhere.

After you get that done.. you should look at dynamic ip services.. there are many many free ones..w hat they can do is give your website a name.. instead of using your ip when not at home.. it would be ewibit.hopper.com:8337(depending on the name you could acquire.. i doubt you will be able to find hopper.com) Ont eh minecraft forums that I linked above.. they have a link to a site that does all the dynip stuff for free.

I have a quarter. Shall we flip it?

tails - short
heads - long
give it a try...

More like:

heads - the pool op wins
tails - you lose btc
as Joshua learned: the only winning move is not to play

I think it would be better, to donate one percent at any pool that agrees to not screw with hoppers. That goes to teh pool owner, who is the one who would actually screw with us.

+10000000 this's

I've gone through and added donations to wherever I can and I leave solved blocks behind too.

can it be worth to force mine at slush when we see someting like this:

http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/7035/slushj.png[/img]

there have been some very short rounds...

Yeah, except you don't know if when you jump in, that's the start of a long round. The graph is what has already happened.

eeehh, If you know some method to find out if it will be a long or short round share it please, it would be a great help to all of us Wink
