Nothing, batch 3 was more expensive, a premium was charged for an earlier ship date, the most likely cause was manufacturing was complete on a production run and they had more to sell. Batch 2 said Will ship by June 20th and that is when they will ship it, by June 20th.

Did you try setting it to S5 settings? This worked for my S7... Only issue is I just can't see the 3rd board's ASIC X/O status.....

Was the 1st thing I tried. No go. zilch.
In cryptoGlance, when I 1st enter the edit rig info page it says it can't find it. That may be part of the lack of detailed information. But - it actually does and lets you set alarm points and save them.

Looks pretty slick and also has a Android app for remote access/monitoring of miners located on a 'home' server(s?).

The s9 does not report all of the usual info such as individual fan speeds not temps per-board to it BUT does relay the most important info eg, hash rate HW errors aggregate temp, pool info, etc.

So far my 1 complaint is that at least on my home PC -- tied to a very nice Samsung 55" UHD TV -- the programs fonts are HUGE. But - that said, once it is running in the bg you can also access it via browser where you have much better control over displayed size.

My s9 B1 is Ant66 at the bottom, the number in green is my total hash rate at home.

Starts the same old story, such as the S5 +
One of my today arrived S9 blade does not work in a couple of hours anymore. Low speed. After reboot only 2 blades. The red light is on, on all 3 blades. Power restart did not help . I Replaced the PSU. Did not help . PSU is now Bitmains 1600W, was before IMB 2000W

The doc indicates the worker name will be auto-generated upon first contact, yet I'll never have a first contact if the pool doesn't show up as alive...

Slush is bad if you have a blackout you lose your work. I would not use them for this one reason. Forget any other reason then this one.

also along the same lines if you do a big rental on nicehash and the rental drops off you lose your work.

I don't mine anywhere that loses my work in under 12 hours. To me the 5n feature of kano is a big reason I mine with them.

I can understand wanting credit for every second participating in the pool, however, the Slush method isn't necessarily unfair.

It's true that you lose all your work on power down for the next block found. But on the flip side of that coin you get full credit for the next block found on power up. Granted, you lose work faster than you gain it, but not so much so that these two attributes of the scoring system don't nearly cancel each other out.

To boot, if you get back online before the next block is solved (in the pool) there is 0 impact to the credit towards that block. So Slush favors power ons as well as intermittent power downs between blocks to balance out for losing credit on power downs where a block is solved.

I see nothing *bad* about that. It's just different.

Of course there is a method that I also use is put a 1 miner there and compare with 1 miner in another pool to see the profitability. That Dashoboard of Slush's is cool, but the bottom line is what counts!

To the previous responder: I actually do know how to spell my username, and the image shows that as being consistent with my usage on Slush. As mentioned, the website accepts that spelling as me.

Then that suggests an intentional block on the pool side for some reason. Message him on here or post in the pool thread.
