looks fantastic.

to achieve MOQ:

40 hashing units                                                                                      = 8.6 BTC
40 thermal pads (optional)                                                                         = 0.28 BTC
10 to 1/8 ethernet controller (multiple devices can share one controller)            = 0.69 BTC   (Theoretically only 2 are needed though, or 0.138 BTC)
10 cooling kit set                                                                                     = 0.69 BTC
10 fan                                                                                                    = 0.14 BTC

TOTAL is 8.25 THash for 10.4 BTC  (or about 10 BTC if only 2-3 controllers are sufficient)

For comparison, 8.25Th is about 19 antminer S3 units, or roughly 12.4 BTC, with shipping, assembly, and lower power draw.

its not baqd, but the additional work for assembly and shipping costs make the antminer S3 a better choice for most buyers (both large and small scale). If you could bundle all the MOQ items above for 9.0-10.0 BTC you would have a good price

great price!

i am sure i will order a few.

can we see video of hashing unit and screenshoots from www interface?

how many units one controller can handle?

thanks
There are many other X24-based mining devices already implemented. For example:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-dogies-comprehensive-hashratio-tsunami-setup-hd-723445

They are using the same design and CAD drawing as our original X24 design.

Each controller can handle as many as 32 units.

thank you for quick response and  updating main thread.
i am sure i will continue ordering and selling asicminer hardware.

good luck with sales

To clarify, is it 0.215 per device for under 400 devices per order? And 0.208 per device for over 400 devices per order?

My understanding is that the hashing unit referes to one of the four boards that each full set consists of. Then all other components are required and it is a somewhat DIY assembly. I am slightly confused as to if the thermal pads is for single chips? Meaning 24 of the thermal pads would be required?
1 pad for each unit.

You can also use thermal grease or any thermal pads with >2W/(M*K).

Very interesting prices. Good work Friedcat. Just for clarification what quantity of each part is required for a full set? Any chance of offering a bundle discount when purchasing full sets of components?
A full set:

4 hashing units
4 thermal pads (optional)
1 to 1/8 ethernet controller (multiple devices can share one controller)
1 cooling kit set
1 fan

There are no discounts when purchasing full sets. Instead we would like to motivate
the opposite: you can save money with sharing the ethernet controller,
preparing your own cooling solution and fans, reusing your old PSUs, etc.

Relax!
Those look really great! But 40pcs MOQ is too much for the smaller miner. Are there again official resellers like last year that sell those miners? Oh and what about the live hashrate meter for the self-mining, we're dying to know how the ramping-up of the self-/franchised mining is doing!

Very interesting! I's incredible how times are changing, a year ago those prices would only give you a Block Erupter USB stick with 330 MH/s, yet it would run at 2.5W!
Friedcat, are there news about the deployment of the self-mining operation? You haven't stated anything in the AM thread for a while now!

Block Erupter Prisma (1.4TH/s with less W/G) will be shipped in October. Please see:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/block-erupter-prisma-14-tdevice-075-078-wg-1-btct-october-shipping-791827

for details.

Brief
ASICMiner Tube is based on the X24 open source design for BE200.

PCB File: https://github.com/blockerupter/AM_BE200_X24

CAD: https://github.com/blockerupter/AM_Tube

Spec
Hashrate: 200-215GH/s per hashing unit in normal mode, 800-850GH/s per full set.

Power consumption: ~0.9 J/GH board-wise. Gets higher along with
ambient temperature. On-wall power consumption relies on PSU efficiency.

Size: 25cmx12cmx12cm per full set.

Weight: 5.2kg per full set.

Powering: 1-2 6pin PCI-E plugs per hashing unit.

The hashing units are driven by ethernet controllers. Each ethernet controller
can run up to 32 units.

A full device consists of:

4 hashing units
4 thermal pads (optional, on demand)
1 to 1/8 ethernet controller (multiple devices can share one controller)
1 cooling kit
1 fan

After connecting the ethernet controller to hashing units, you can
type 192.168.0.254:8000/FlashMega on your web browser to update to the
newest firmware on each hashing unit (no internet connection is needed). After that
you can type 192.168.0.254:8000 to access the configuration page.

When assembling, do not forget to insert the ivory color washer (4 per device) between
the handle and the fan when screwing the fan onto the cooling kit.
It serves the protection of the PCB when screwing.

We observed some cases that the boards are bent, detached from the heatsink due to the not using
of washers, or screwing too tight from the handle to the fan. This will cause unexpected behavior
since the wires inside boards may break, or some parts will overheat because of bad attachment to heatsinks.

How to run on pools other than ghash.io and btcguild with Raspberry PI and bfgminer

1.Modify /etc/apt/sources.list on your Raspberry PI

deb http://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/raspbian/raspbian/ wheezy main non-free contrib
    deb-src http://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/raspbian/raspbian/ wheezy main non-free contrib

2.Update the aptitude package on your Raspberry PI

    sudo apt-get update

    3.Download bfgminer

    wget http://luke.dashjr.org/programs/bitcoin/files/bfgminer/4.7.0/bfgminer-4.7.0.zip

    4.Uncompress

    unzip bfgminer-4.7.0.zip

    5.Install dependencies

    sudo apt-get install autoconf libtool libncurses-dev yasm curl libcurl4-openssl-dev libjansson-dev pkg-config libudev-dev uthash-dev libusb-dev libevent-dev

    6.Enter bfgminer directory

    cd bfgminer-4.7.0

    7.Run configuration

    ./configure

    8.Compile bfgminer

    make

    9.Run bfgminer

    ./bfgminer  -o stratum+tcp://stratum.f2pool.com:3333 -u -p 123 --stratum-port --set-device PXY:diff=

    10.Set static IP for Raspberry PI(modifying /etc/network/interfaces)
Take the IP address 192.168.0.100 as an example. Replace iface eth0 inet dhcp as:

    iface eth0 inet static
    address 192.168.0.100
    netmask 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.0.1

netmask and gateway are decided by your Raspberry PI's local network settings.

    11.Configure ethernet controllers

Same example as above. Modify the pool address on ethernet controller to 192.168.0.100 with port 3333.

Round 4 Sales
Full 10-devices set including:
  40 Hashing Units
40 Thermal Pads (optional, on demand)

  10 Fans
  Free Assembling
7.9 BTC/set

Hashing Unit: 0.160 BTC/piece for <400 pieces
MOQ at 40 pieces. (Each unit hashes at 200-215GH/s in typical clock)

Thermal Pad: 0.007 BTC/piece. MOQ at 40 pieces.

Ethernet Controller: 0.069 BTC/piece. MOQ at 2 pieces.

Cooling Kit: 0.069 BTC/set. MOQ at 10 sets.

For orders equal to or larger than 10 full sets (100 devices) or 400 pieces of hashing units, please contact
Phasebird or [email protected]. The price depends on order size.

Round 1 purchasers get a coupon of 0.05 btc per device. (0.5 btc per set, 0.0125 btc per hashing unit)

Coupon rule:

For each device purchased, you get a 0.05 btc coupon. The price of each new purchased device can only be reduced by one coupon. Coupon works not only for round 2 sales, but also all future devices that are priced at more than 0.05 btc each.

Round 2 refunds are completed.

Shipping Dates are from 22th September to 31th September.

An example of typical MOQ set:

40 hashing units
40 thermal pads (optional, on demand)
2-4 ethernet controllers
10 cooling kits
10 fans

It is highly recommended that you have one or several redundant ethernet controllers in case
that some of them are dysfunctional.

1. The miner can not directly run with f2pool. If you want to mine on f2pool, you need a PC or a raspberry PI
with a mining proxy. The ethernet controller needs to be pointed to the proxy instead of the pool.

2. We now offer the shipping of fully assembled devices. If you need them to be shipped as a whole please specify
in your order. We still prefer separate shipping though, because it will reduce the potential shipping damage significantly.

3. The ethernet controller needs a 12V 1A DC input. You could either use a separate AC/DC for it, or wire one
directly from your PSU for the hashing boards.

4. Shipping to countries outside mainland China is free.

General Policy
1. Payment before shipping. The shipping order follows the payment order.

2. No refunds after the generation of tracking numbers.

3. If the corresponding tracking number has not been generated, we provide full refund starting from 6th September.
(The nominal refund amount follows the actual payment method, for example, 1 BTC refund for 1 BTC payment, 4k
USD refund for 4k USD payment)

4. Free replacement requirements:
-- If the user changes components on the boards, we do not offer replacements.
-- We consider each hashing unit damaged only if it hashes at <180GH/s at 270MHz setting.
If there are a few dysfunctional chips, but the hashrate is still >=180GH/s at 270MHz, we do not offer replacements.
-- For other components, the requirement is that they don't function properly.

5. We offer 5% redundancy for the full set orders equal to or larger than 10 sets (100 devices), and hashing unit orders equal to or larger than 400 units. If the number of damaged units is equal to
or smaller than the redundancy number we do not offer replacements. If larger, you need to ship all damaged units back, and we
will offer the replacement units which has the number of (damaged - redundancy).

6. You pay the shipping when receiving. For orders without mainland China, the shipping fee is included in the price if hashing units
are included in your parcels.

7. All services from ASICMiner are only available to direct customers (including direct resellers). If you bought them from resellers
