Right now, I would say that we are having a 50/50 situation. 50% of the bounty campaigns are productive for the participants, while the remaining 50% either don't pay the reward or the participants end up with worthless tokens. But there is no way to find out which one is productive and which one is not. The problem is that here anyone can start a thread in the Bounty sub-forum and promise attractive rewards. The campaign manager is not required to keep any funds in escrow.

I usually check the website first and the manager who is handling the bounty campaign. There are managers who are trustable and testable already so I manage to join their campaigns to avoid scam projects. But given that, we cannot still be so sure if that project is scam or not, we have to keep our faith into it because sometimes managers has nothing to do with it. They were just hired and in some cases they cannot tell also if the project community will pay the bounty hunters.

Doing bounty campaigns is the best option if you didn't have enough money to invest on the ICO. Bounty gives you a lot of reward. But you have to make sure that the bounty campaign you are entering with is a good and a legit one. Many campaigns as of now didn't do what they promise. There is also a sort that you choose a scam bounty. Better do your own research first before you invest your time on in doing bounty campaign.

Doing bounty campaigns is not just a waste of time. For me, it is a source to earn big moneys just by participating on iy and earn big rewards if the management has satisfied of your works. It is very worth it when the ICO you are campaigning has sold out their tokens and become successful after their ICO period. I do not agree that bounty is passive income. It's not a small job. Invested a lot of time and effort. You can even call it intellectual work. I wouldn't call it passive income . It's kind of a job, too . You waste your time and get rewarded for it . Sometimes very little, in rare cases goes well. I will explain why I trust the bounty campaign that I follow will be successful. I've been following bounty campaigns for so long, I've been getting bounties in every bounty campaign and I've trusted one manager, often managers who I trust get a new project I'll join soon.

If you carefully select the BOUNTY campaign from steep ICO projects, you can make a big income, but definitely not passive (if you do not delegate the routine to others)

Bounty is not the matter of luck mate if you know how to select the right campaign and the problem is that most dont even read through the project they want to work for before they sign up for their bounty. Always study the roadmap of project(if it already listed on exchange or how soon it will be listed on exchange if it yet to be listed), the outstanding of the project, how hard the team involve are working and the bounty manager reputation. If you do all this, you will thank me later.
