Well it can be both: a waste of time or a passive income. It all depends on the bounty campaign you join. If you join a campaign that becomes successful, then it might be a great passive income. But if the campaign was not successful, you just waste your time. Also if a bounty campaign has a lot of participants, the reward is very small, so better choose the right campaign and join as early as possible.
There are more scams than legit bounty campaigns in the market.

My friends are very passionate about bounty campaigns and try to persuade me to participate. Although a bit boring, I still look forward to small gains. Hope not to encounter scams.
Its a dillema to tell that bountys are possible to be simply useless or well, exceeding expectations, the last 3 bounties I joined, signature with a period of 5 months combined, doesnt seems to have any significant progressnof releasing real value of their tokens, simply it could hit any good spot for trade as well developers arent giving any of them, saturated, unregulated ICO means more victims like us, on the positive side some ICO could pay up to 60ETH
Most of the people not check the project before join the bounty. So some bounty will be seaming. If need to choose the best bounty. You learn the bounty project then invest. This information help to gather more information of the bounty project. It help to people future saving and gather more information of the business improvement. It change the people life. It a jackpot. If received the best bounty token hold the long time. Then get more profit. So project is important for the choose the best bounty. Then join it.
I have no choice because bounty program is one of the easy way to make extra money, although i get small reward from it, but i still can make money in crypto trading. In previous campaign i have to do task signature campaign in 2 month and get paid after more than 1 month, we should not only doing bounty but also other opportunity like trading or mining.

Yes i agree bounty campaign is not waste of time because it is worth wasting, and most of the time gives you earning and make it as your income that cn help you a lot especially in financial. Also bounty is one of the other way to earn easy in crypto because you just need to find in a good bounty then participate to it, then after that will wait for the end of the bounty campaign to get your reward on it, then if your lucky tou can get higher income when the market is rising. Participate in bounty campaign is not waste of time except when you encounter a abandoned bounty but most of the time it gives you reward and have huge earning, also it can be your receive reward make income to someone who participated in bounty. And i think bounty is worth it especially when you're in a good bounty, and also bounty can gives you huge income, just keep participating and collect your reward until it cost higher value.

Bounties are truly a great job that offers decent rewards and more if you get to choose the right one and be able to hold for longer times than the rest. I believe that most of the bounty hunters in this forum has already gotten a lot out of their efforts. It is only a matter of working hard and smartly to gain lots of income. Doing your own research is the best strategy to find the hidden gems in this industry. Be it in ICO phase or already on exchanges.
Before we joined the bounty a few there are that we should do like do some checking. And this is very important in order not to get the ICO just made for just scamming people. You will feel very proud when you follow the project and eventually you get rewarded. And the reward you get for sale and become a money or you can use these rewards to make investments for the future.

Despite of all the scam/failed ICO's, bounties are still a good source of income. No system or project is perfect. Not all of them will become successful. Something that we need to accept. Because the crypto system is volatile... something that we knew from the beginning. And so why do we complain? If we were unfortunate to have participated in a failed project, then all we can do is move on to another. It's as simple as that. Now I wouldn't agree on bounty campaigns as being passive. Coz passive means you don't work or you just wait. Now we definitely don't just wait in campaigns do we? We work on them! If you are in right bounty campaign it is a great passive income business but it is frustrating when you run a bounty campaign and it didn't drop.
Simply if you associated with scam bounty its totally waste of time and if you are part of reliable bounty you will be paid in high.So be careful to choose bounty to avoid scam must read the white papers of project and must know about the idea of the project it will help you to avoid the scam bounty.
Definitely still worth the try for a passive income
I would say great passive income.. It has proven successful for me so far, but lets see.
I would preffer that bounty is more then an active income than a passive, because sometimes you need to work hard there.
I don't think bounty is Waste of time, if you study it correctly. It is waste for those who joins bounty with overflow and without study. There are million of people who take part in bounty campaigns and 90% get smart income. Just need our presence of mind and some carefullness. I think, there is nothing bigger than bounty in case of earning because bounty need no investment and gives huge profit after few months.
I am participating in some telegram groups, where guys are posting their own bounties, that were already tested by them and real.
The fact is that everything depends on the project itself, because if the project is really real and promising, every member of the Bounty of the company will be able to get a good reward.
