Doing a bounty is not a waste of time but a good passive income but for me it is an active income because I consider this as a full time job (been doing bounties for almost a year for 5 to 6 hours a day) . My earnings in the bounty suffice my family's monthly expenses (I'm from a third world country). so those looking for additional income. Doing Bounties are good source of additional income.

bounty campaign can be a great source income for everyone and maybe it could be a passive income because we can hold the tokens for a long time and sell when the price is expensive. I don't think that bounty campaign is a waste of time unless the bounty campaign is trying to scam the participants because I think there is any bounty campaign that doesn't pay the participants and they run from their projects. with joining much of bounty campaign, we can earn many tokens which we can hold or sell and I think it's a lot of money for the participants.

I just notice their marketing and their token sales. If many people buy it, it can be a good ICO. And their bounty can be good, too. In my opinion, carefully reading the whitepaper does not help you completely avoid bad projects. Easier said than done.
Bounty doesn't take much of your time. Everyday, I just spend 1-2 hours, that's enough. So it's not a waste of time
