If paying by using eth then it will not make the token owned by dev to be famous. We know all that the original goal of a dev is to try to attract more and more people using the coin they make based on the erc20 owned by etherum. So it's not unusual when bounty participants get paid for tokens, I think it's okay as long as the token has the appropriate value.

Yes it's really hard to choose nowadays. In my point of view Many scams and unsuccessful ICOs are almost 80% of the Bounty.

Off course they need to promote their coin/token. But at the same time, they also need to reward the bounty campaign participants, who work so hard to popularize their token. In the past, I have taken part in some bounty campaigns. I remember one campaign now... I worked so hard for 2 months, made so many tweets and retweets and in the end I got some worthless tokens which still sit in my MEW wallet. They can't be traded anywhere and I have no use with them. All my two months of effort was wasted.

This is a very good suggestion, if really a bounty hunter is paid with ETH using 1-2% of what is raised during ICO, it will lower the risk, it will also give trust to the project, in fact, that will even encourage investors to buy during ICO instead of waiting for bounty hunters to dump.

I agree if I get paid with ETH. To be more uniform and not confused again search market. right, ETH should be the payment for the works of each bounty hunter. FOr them, not to dump the price of the TOKENS. Also, if they want those tokens, they should buy it using their payment.

personally, I think, Most ICOs pay their own tokens to participate in prizes because they want to promote their own tokens. Most of the time when these tokens are listed on their stock prices it drops sharply. And it seems to me that projects can take such a step if they are confident of the increase that will occur in their token value and it is more profitable for them to pay the award in the eyes other money.

Their ICO coins not affected once they did that. But the ethereum price was affected. You know after ICO paid bounty hunter on ethereum, They sell easier and price goes down, So ICO's decided not to do that what you want, Because all their project was affected. We can say their coins will not be affected in the beginning. But their collected Ethereum from their investor was also affected.

The problem is that nowadays the tokens which we get are not traded in any of the exchanges and even in cases where they are traded, they are worth close to nothing. This has happened to me a few times in 2018.

Now a days there will be no ico or campaign who will allow you to be paid on ethereum but there are ico's who have a buy back system which they will purchase the coins that they distribute to the bounty campaign participants after the end of sale in the market if their ico is success.

As per my knowledge bounty hunters will receive only ICO tokens, in coming future they may paid in ETH. But you can make ETH by selling the token received in bounty.

In my opinion, companies will not do that as they want to promote their coins and this way, their coin goes to many bounty hunters.h ethh if they pay throug They take funds for their projects and if they start distributing from those collected funds then they have to change their whole setup because they get less eth, hence they will never pay in eth as per my view.

There are a lot of bounty hunters who are struggling on selling their tokens because it was dumping after the end of campaign since everyone is selling their coin immediately, well i hope that in the future they will be paying their participants an ethereum immediately.

I'm confused, will paying them bounty hunters in ETH don't have any impact in the ICO project or the coin afterwards?
Cause sending them the tokens will in a way promote the project and the coin.
Anyway, it is then becoming of a trend when some hunters receive their tokens they dump it afterwards. They should learn to hold it and see more profits after a while.

Yes I have the same question, will not have negative implications in the coin the bounty hunters are promoting. I mean using it is one step of promoting it, rather than paying them with other alts thus promoting that alt. Or am I wrong to raise this?
Anyway, it is a good thing to be paid in ETH but what's the consequence?
