I agree, Charlo brothers has nothing to offer to Canelo, they hasn't beat any name fighters in their resume, while Andrade the same, just looking for a good paycheck before he retires.

Options for Canelo is to move up to 175 lbs, Bivol or Beterbiev, that will be an amazing fight as those two are also heavy punches and have been avoided.

Not sure if Canelo is open to move up to LHW, he said after the fight with Kovalev is that he is no longer going to campaign on this weight. Maybe his team knows that it's really hard to go up in weight and super middleweight in his home.

However, he already swept obviously he got the 4 belts in modern era.

Give GGG a trilogy then? all for the sake of money because there's nothing for him to accomplished.

It was over 9.5 indeed.

Canelo really too good was like a doctor dissecting his patience, lol. Caleb has a good defense, but it wasn't enough, that shoulder roll is not very effective for a counter left hook of Canelo in the fight. It looks like his left hook is missing early, but it's not. It's hitting Caleb square-off, but the accumulation of punches and fatigue and it's just a matter of time before Canelo will knock him out, just like in the Kovalev fight.

It appears Canelo winner on round range 10-12 and over 9.5 rounds were the correct bets hehe. The strength of Caleb Plant’s body and the size, I underestimated them. A smaller boxer would clearly be knocked out before the 9th round.

That's the time when Golovkin was much younger and Canelo hasn't figured out him yet but still it would be a money fight if Canelo delays his plan of moving to the Light Heavyweight category and fight GGG one more time as people think that Canelo has unfinished business with him.

IMO, the Light Heavyweight category is the division that could give Canelo more resistance as he will be fighting bigger opponent though slow but they still hit hard.

Before this fight has already started, we all knew that Canelo Alvarez would win but we ain't so sure if it's going to end via knockout or decision. Congratulations to Canelo Alavarez, adding another belt and it was a nice entertaining match, who would have thought that Caleb Plant will survie and go until round 11 with all those uppercut and bodyshots.
Yes, indeed Canelo is a slow starter who warms up first to test the opponent, Canelo do this in every match he had.

Yep, Plant put up a good fight though in the beginning and it's really bothering Canelo early because he can't get inside. But once Canelo negate that jab, then he was able to get inside, slip in his left hook which Caleb took.

However, we all know that sooner or later you will get tired and then the power of Canelo is consistent from round 1 up to the end of the fight. Plant was too tired by all those left hooks and body shots.

Canelo proved to be the master tactician, like what we all expected he size him up then work on the body in the middle round, and finally, in the championship round he masterfully imposed himself because he knows the early body shots will take their toll, it's always been like that size up his opponent work on the body then impose yourself to get a knockout, masterfully done.

I lost by just a one round.

I have Canelo winning the fight in 7/8/9. And I was rooting for Caleb to go down in the 9th round.

Unfortunately it didn't happen, maybe I should have bet on 8/9/10 for Canelo.

Anyways, that's gambling, very close, but no dice for me in this match. But congrats to Canelo for being the unified super middle weight champion.

If it's Canelo whose fighting, upset is a slim possibility. The betting here is just on the way Canelo gets that win, either by knockout or decision.

Heading into round 11, I thought that my bet of Canelo winning by decision is a win until Canelo landed that left hook to the head

Canelo have proved that he is a great fighter despite of the unwanted scene between them with Plant during their face off. Another successful fight that would be added on Canelo's record and for sure through this successful fight of him he would be going to accept many great opportunities in his boxing career. Climbing in weight soon will be an exciting part on his career which I bet would not be impossible in near future.
