Canelo is favorite in this fights, but I don't like low odds for him, and Bivol is undefeated fighter so I expect this to be interesting fight.

Thanks for the link. I'm not aware there's a free bet there.

Regarding the fight, it's common to see low odds for Canelo as you said, he is the Favorite. Even Bivol is an undefeated boxer and a Champion too, bookies think that Canelo has all the edge on this fight that's why we are seeing odds like that. I'm seeing that way too and we can't deny the fact that Canelo is expected to be the dominant here.

We can only see if Bivol has that punch that can knockdown Canelo on May 7.

Definitely Bivol can punch based on his records and you can see some highlights of his fights in youtube. It's that if he can land that to Canelo, and if that land flush, can Canelo handle it? Alvarez has one iron chin, it hasn't been broken, even GGG didn't broke it when they fought twice. On the other hand, Canelo is just steamrolling on his past opponents, all champion in 168 lbs. So if there is a chance to score a knock down or even a knock out, it will be Canelo, in my opinion.

I have little doubts that Canelo is the best pound by pound boxer right now, however I agree with your assessment, the place to silence those doubts was the second fight, even if Canelo were to win convincingly during the upcoming third fight we will always know that he beat a GGG that was not at his best anymore, now despite all of this I do not blame Canelo, GGG is a great fighter and it seems that his style is particularly difficult for Canelo to figure out.

Not the very best but at least closed to that. Defeating Bivol will give him another pound-for-pound achievement.

About fighting against GGG, there will be no massive request for the trilogy if Canelo's win over GGG is not questionable. And on the other hand, a trilogy is really necessary as their first bout is DRAW. Anyways, let's not talk about that. Canelo needs to pass Bivol first before they can talk about the trilogy with GGG in September.

Losing against Bivol, no trilogy with GGG - that's the situation here.

Hope the fight doesnt end like how we expect Shakur to lose because Valdez is the most experienced between them. Canelo for sure is the best we know but if turn out Bivol knocking out Canelo, were once again lose another week's pay from sig campaign lol. Had the hard time accepting the fact that Valdez lose.

Anyway, Canelo still is the most power puncher in the class. Wish us all good luck. 3 more days to go.
Lose another week's pay from signature campaign, haha you got me there! Lol.

Anyways, we already know that Canelo is not the type to be overconfident of his strengths or even underestimated his opponents. The man have his own style inside the ring before he makes his move because he surely knows that Bivol is not an easy opponent to deal with as he is the defending champion of this division while Canelo is only a guest.

Lol, don't rub it in,  Grin. I guess many of us lost some money on the Shakur vs Valdez fight.

But I do agree that Canelo didn't reached this position because he takes his opponent lightly. He knows that every boxer he fought has a chance to beat him so he trains hard and not underestimated his opponents. There is no animosity between the two in the face off though, unlike his previous fights in Plant and BJS wherein there is a lot of trash talk and we've seen Canelo break down this two boxers.

Campaign Management?"Hhampuz" is the Man
So doesn't make sense for Canelo so he chooses Bivol and then will go after GGG. So more money for him and his promoters.

Canelo knows the game, he will fight a champion, defeat a champion and go with the anticipated GGG vs Canelo before GGG will retire. The good thing here is, if he beat GGG, that speculation will be over and people will see Canelo is better than GGG, he is at the right timing IMO.

For speculations to be over, he should have beaten GGG more impressively in their second fight, but not by the help of judges. People will never stop to speculate. They will always say that he should have beaten GGG when GGG was in his prime and etc. For me, Canelo and GGG now have 1:1 in their series, not a draw and a win by Canelo.

P.S. If Bivol wins, he will face GGG instead. Right ?

Everyone has its own opinion about that, even Canelo will beat GGG in this upcoming trilogy fans of GGG will keep having

those reasons just like that, not in the prime or something that will continue to boost their trust in GGG, but everything will be on the

side of the winner and look what happens to Mayweather he retires without any losses, more haters but more money in his pocket.

Not saying they are both similar, but what I mean is the opinion always present, but wins will bring you more money.

Well even if we don't agree about him being the pound for pound king, he is already listed on the #1 list and was followed by GGG. These speculations will not stop even if GGG will decide to hang up his gloves because the people wasn't really convinced on the 2nd fight specially that Canelo haven't gave GGG the trilogy he asked. Now, it's already too late because we know the outcome but still I know that Canelo will still have a hard time figuring out GGG's weakness and style.

Message @Hhampuz if you are looking for a CM!

While Canelo is highly confident as I shared previously:
Canelo Alvarez highly confident for Dmitry Bivol fight

Dmitry Bivol also has the same mindset:
Dmitry Bivol: I have beaten everybody that I have fought, I believe I can beat Canelo

I like how Bivol praised Canelo while at the same time, saying "Every boxer has their strengths and their weaknesses. Nobody is perfect. My goal is to focus on my strengths and use them to my advantage."

He is right about that and I like his determination. The goal now is how to unleash that strength while at the same time, protecting their weakness. I hope that confidencece will be shown once they finally faced in the ring.

Bivol must be a strong contender at this moment. And it seems like he is now very ready to face the king days from now. He should be very confident. A little doubt in his mind would be like a tiny leak that would break everything eventually as more pressure comes. His confidence should be kept intact and whole when he is already inside the lion's den and feeling the strength of Canelo's blows. It is one thing to say you can defeat Canelo while sitting down, it is another when you are already being hit by his punches.

There is no turning back now, just watched a few clips of Bivol, however, I'm still not convinced that he might pull the biggest upset in boxing this year.

One of his sparring partner, Benavidez who is also been groom to fight Canelo in the future says that he is a 1-2 combination guy. If that is his strength then for sure Canelo and his team has a plan already on how to counter that. So I'm not sure if he is going to hurt Canelo with that combo and Canelo might time that to hit a counter left hook to score a knock down or knock out.

I haven't seen Bivol train recently but if we take the words of Benavidez testifying that Bivol remains to be the 1-2 combination guy, I am afraid he cannot defeat Canelo. I have seen a number of Canelo fights in the past and it is always amazing how he has an excellent head movement. This slugger could penetrate an opponent with just his head movement. I don't think Bivol will prevail over Canelo if he will stick to his 1-2 strategy.

Of course, no one could defeat Canelo if he is not better than Canelo.

He needs to train harder to match the hard work of Canelo because this guy is on his prime and he is making it look easy every time he fight. Bivol has to protect his belt, he is the champion and should not be intimidated by the power of Canelo, and it can only be achieved if he is very serious in winning.

Yeah, but it's more on an ego thingy. He really need to beat GGG convincingly as we might say that he won in a controversial manner.

Although I will have to say that Canelo is already a better fighter in terms of accomplished as he had multiple belts in different division but GGG chooses to stay at his comfort zone of 160 lbs. Fight is getting nearing, and this could be another great fight for this year but I still see Canelo winning against the tough Bivol at 175 lbs.

If he beats GGG with a considerable KO, this kind of speculation might be done, but beating him in another judges decisions continue to linger the thought that he's not superior to GGG and this trilogy should take place, but for sure there are many opinions about it and it won't stop till they see both fighters inside the ring and that's how promoters also wanted it, they want to collect a good amount of money out from these two boxers popularities.
This speculation is too far-fetched even to be discussed at this time. now our focus is only on Canelp and Bivol because it is a match that will be played by them.
apart from that, for now it is certain that they are against GGG but there is no need to use it as if GGG will play because our focus must still be on Canelo and Bivol now.
as for GGG maybe for later this will be discussed but of course it must be after their match ends (Canelo and Bivol).

He should have but instead he didn't gave GGG a trilogy because he won on the 2nd fight, that move makes me believe that he's afraid to risk his status for a trilogy that could've possibly defeat him. No one could deny that GGG is the biggest challenge that Canelo had faced. Speculations won't be over especially now that GGG is not in his prime anymore.

That's why we always have devastating results in the boxing fight where champions lose to some regular challengers because the challengers have all the will and determination to defeat the champion at any legal cost. We have already seen how quickly can turn things around when the boxer has all the necessary practice to counter his opponent's skills and sometimes it works and they defeated the champion.

Preparation always count, I mean in each way if you know how to anticipate your opponents attack, you can counter things the right way.

In both side, fighters are known to be solid or heavy puncher, it's more on how solid the practices and trainings that each fighter will determine

to undergo to take some good advantage when they both inside the ring. Still going to depend from how the turn of events will take place when

they both fighting inside the ring.
