I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Fury and Wilder's match is on everybody's day but I'd like to play a devils' advocate and I hope I am wrong what if the Coronavirus lingers on and reach July, there's a possibility that the match will not push through, or they can have it, without a live audiences is this possible like what I said I hope I'm wrong on this one.
This corona virus is really messing everything around the world but in the case it is still not under control by that time I think the best thing to do will be to just postpone the fight, this could in fact work to Wilder advantage since I thought that with such a short amount of time it will be impossible for him to change himself and improve enough as a boxer to beat Fury, but if the fight gets delayed he will have more time to prepare himself and improve his chances against Fury.

Live with peace and enjoy life!

And then look at the poll, boxing fans are picking Fury to win again.

That is expected since Fury won the last fight, if it was Wilder who win, sure we will see the opposite now.

People are watching based on what the media is fed to them, of course we can't deny that some fans would not want a trilogy as obviously it was Fury who won in the last two fights, but this business is making money and they know this match up could generate more money to them, so we have no choice but to watch this fight, its also a big event when money coming from the bettors is going to be huge, probably hundreds of millions for sure.

Honestly, this fight is no need to happen because Wilder already lost to fury in a clean fight in their 2nd fight. I think the fans wanted to see the toe to toe of these two giants. anyway, you cannot see this kind of fight often in boxing nowadays. that's why the only reason they come to this part is because of the fans wanting to witness such an event again.
I don't know if you are really following this thread or not. They are going to fight because they have a rematch clause, in which Wilder sign days after the second match. I'm sure their could be fans not wanting to see a trilogy because it was obvious that Fury was the clear winner, he was robbed on the first fight and then completely obliterated Wilder in that rematch.

And then look at the poll, boxing fans are picking Fury to win again.

nobody can really count out  a knock out artist, because he can end things anytime in the ring.

It is correct that is why although Fury is the favorite, but Wilder is still a big threat for the depending champion.
Wilder gone owned in the last 2 fights, this is his last chance to prove that he is still the best the king, he will come with vengeance and will give everything he can.

The odds seem heavily in favour of Fury according to voters in this poll  Grin

I also voted for Fury, this fighting match up, although dominated by Fury in their last match is still interesting and a must-see watch fans and experts are curious if Wilder will show something new here that can make him connect his right power punch, nobody can really count out  a knock out artist, because he can end things anytime in the ring.

If I will bet on this fight then probably I will just go for Tyson Fury as I havr been reviewed his previous fight in which he is very powerful in ehich hr just easily dominates his enemy from time to time and it maybe goes also with Wilder III because I predict that Tyson Fury is more powerful than Wilder, sad to say that I am kind of bias but this is what I am thinking about.

Most bettors who posted in this thread favors Fury to win the game, well, this time he is a clear favorite.

Large gatherings will not be permitted so the fight might be called off until a later date. Right now so many sporting events have been cancelled or postponed, I think this fight will go the same way.

Do you think this match date will not be affected by the corona virus pandemic? Since it will be in July, about 4 months from now, do you think that virus has been contained at that time? Many sports have been cancelled lately and possibly in the next couple of months.

There's still no announcement right now, maybe the promoters are still hoping that things will change heading to the day of the fight and still monitoring the situation, but unfortunately, the situation is worsening the number of infected is still growing, there's no hope that this match will happen on that date best option is quarter of the year but that is still no guaranty.

Then they'll move it if the schedule is not possible.

Fans would still want to watch this fight even if it will be move next year, as long these two will fight, we can fully expect that the fight is exiting.

This is a bit early to say if the match will be postponed or it may shift to any venue which is free of Covid-19 Virus.

Shift to other venue, I just don't see it possible to happen, they choose that venue because they know they can make money and people buying tickets for the fight because they like the venue, it's no way it will happen, the best chance to still make this fight happen is just to postpone its date, but not shift with other venue.

I also don't think that they are going to shift venues, postponement is more likely, the venue plays a part in the ticket sales, people are more comfortable to travel to Las Vegas than anywhere else and I don't think there's a good venue in the US more than New York and Las Vegas that people will go in this kind of situation, travelling is one of the biggest issue here.

Exactly that's why thy would not think of the solution as a possible one just to make this event happen.
This is not like a game like NBA where there is a season, they need to follow the schedule or cancel the season, this is just one fight a title fight that every fan of them wants to see, but it not be an exciting one without the big crowd watching it, and if they move it to other location, can we assure that people will watch this, I'll bet no.

The match could be moved if the Pandemic lingers until July but I think the gate sales are ongoing and there are many tickets that have been sold, it will not going to be excited if they proceed without a live audience it may look like a sparring partner if they push through, so it's likely that they are going to re schedule.

This is a bit early to say if the match will be postponed or it may shift to any venue which is free of Covid-19 Virus. The match is planned in Mid July and there are still four months, so you can hope that things might be normal by that time. I think  Las Vegas is the best place for this match and I hope it would be held as scheduled.

Do you think Wilder will retire if he loses again?

Do not expect wilder to retire anytime soon even if he loses to fury third time in a row. I think this is not only Wilder wish to rematch fury third time but also the boxing association is involved in it to create money from such mega events. Anyways, in both the cases, the fans of wilder and fury will be excited to see another fight, although I still think the result of this fight will be the same as previous one.

Possible, specially of the pandemic is not contained in the next 4 months and the victims of the virus grew in succeeding months.

I believed that Wilder won't simply quit the sports that he loves, I mean this is his bread and butter and we all know that sports personalities have lavish lifestyles and such needs to maintain that level. If he retire because of another loss then he might have to rethink how to live his life and his families, not very easy. So he will continue to fight, probably facing lesser opponents just to get his groove again.
