I think it will be awesome if Kambosos will face Loma in this fight. This will be huge as Loma will have the chance to get back the belts that Kambosos has taken from him. I do hope though that he will be given an exception, just like Usyk by the military to go and fight and bring honor for their country outside like in boxing. But it seems that is not going to happen so Plan B for Kambosos, now he has to face another champion in the division. Although he is the weakest amongst them, I think this will still be a good fight for Kambosos again.
I salute the spirit given by kambosos to loma who is defending his country (Ukraine). I'm really looking forward to their (kambosos vs loma) fight again (whether it will be this year or next year). This match is a big thing for Kambosos or Haney, Kambosos ambition to get 4 titles is undeniable while Haney still wants to defend his title and also asks for recognition for the title he got.

We are witnessing worthwhile matches these days. Seems that exhibition fights are already over.
Couple of months will be fast, so high likely that both boxers are already preparing even before this announcement.
Not yet late to include a poll, this is a fight where boxing fans here in Bitcointalk will be divided as both fighters are undefeated, champion, and most of all hungry, I like both of them very confident in the build of the fight, this is what defines good match up Champion against Champion, undefeated against undefeated, both fighters are taking a huge risk.
I admire Kambosos he should have taken a light fighter to fight to extend and fully enjoy his belts but he opted to go for unification right away by fighting Haney, he learned a lot from Pacquiao, that to be the best you have to fight the best.

If we will make a comparison between both fighter of course its very obvious that kamboss has big advantage on this match since he has good history especially when it comes KO unlike hanley which seems not a power puncher. but still unpredictable IMO because hanley is a brilliant fighter and for sure once he knew already what's the pattern of his opponent he will take that opportunity to end the fight..

It will be an easier way for Kambosos to gain another title in case he'll win this fight but I'm sure that Devin Haney will do everything to defend his title so it will surely be a tough match. They are not physically close to each other but obviously, they don't like each, both are very used to this they used to have heated arguments against their respected nemesis, Kambosos against Lopez and Haney against Garcia, this has the making of a great fight much better than their previous fights, I'm excited for them to face each other physically and see their reaction, this is a good start we'll see more coming.

Well it's obvious that he needs to adjust to every fighter that he will have to face. Against Lopez, he needs to show who is the bigger guy and the aggressor and who has the punching power.
But against a technical fighter such as Haney, it will be very different strategy for him. As much as we want him to go inside and make the fight toe to toe, it won't be that way because Haney will play defense so he has to find against plan of attack.
Defensively Haney is very good he can hit you but it's so hard to hit him and he knows how to use the ring effectively, they have the same style actually but Haney has been to a lot of battles he is always dominating the fight and he never underestimates any opponents, Kambosos will have to train harder because it's going to be a lot of running in this fight and he must get a sparring partner who moves like Haney, a technically sound boxer.
Indeed because the man is so versatile on the ring and the fact that he is continually learning every after defeating his each opponents makes him one of the few boxers especially on his division. Being in a defensive mode is one of Haney's best skills as like you said that he can still hit his opponents even he is in that said state, so if Kambosos would really become aggressive on him then I think he should reconsider his approach.

Being labeled as an underdog is just a term to determine which one is better to bet because normally the favorites are there basis but on this one, but being an underdog doesn't coincide the strength and power of the boxer beholds. You'd be careful where to bet because Haney here is more versatile than Kambosos, he is just lucky because the fight will be hosted in his own home soil.

@Kemarit. However, I speculate that @bisdak or @Boafeng might be surprised on why George Kambosos is the favorite considering that Teofimo Lopez jr. is the only big name in his record. There were speculations that Lopez had problems in his preparation against Kambosos. Also, Haney might be very fast for Kambosos and Haney would not have a similar style like Lopez where he will fight power with his own power. Haney might take this to 12 rounds and win with a unanimous decision.
I don't think that Haney is faster that Lopez though, So it's possible that Kambosos can beat Haney to the punch. But for sure Haney will think that he is faster than Kambosos, and maybe it is going to be a big mistaken on this fight. Let's see, two different contrasting style again, I'm seeing otherwise though, Kambosos might win in this fight.

Not sure what you meant by Kambosos don't need to fight Tank after this. I guess if his body can't squeeze to 135 lbs, then definitely he can move up. But let's see.
I mean Tank and Haney are the champion in lightweight title, Tank have WBA title and Haney WBC title. Kambosos already having WBA title, WBC is the last title he need to achieve in this weight... so Kambosos didn't to fight with Tank. Although he is the weakest amongst them, I think this will still be a good fight for Kambosos again.
I can't say Haney is the weakest amongst them, he is good technical boxer and he is still young (23 years old). He might become a monster when he hit 30 years old, so if he lose in this fight it doesn't really hurt him.You forgot to create a poll on this fight I'm not sure if the community will vote in favor of Kambosos

This is the last title that Kambosos need to become undisputed champion in lightweight, after he made a biggest upset last year against Lopez. If Kambosos won against Haney, it will be smooth career for Kambosos, he might move to the next weight since he don't need to fight with Tank.
George Kambosos career has been expected to fight great boxers in his era since he managed to defeat Teofimo "The Takeover" Lopez via Unanimous decision and he also managed to knock down Lopez in the 1st quarter, that's why he is now fighting Devin Haney in exchange for Loma as he cannot fight now when his country is at war.
Now, Kambosos's career will be tested by Haney and I doubt that he will have a smooth win on this because the latter is also a good technical fighter and an upset might be possible even though Kambosos is the heavy favorite.
This is a very interesting fight we all know that a boxer is judged based on his last fight and Kambosos has a better fight last time but I don't think he is a better all-around fighter, Haney is such a good technical fighter a fighter who can hit you and avoid your best punches he is almost a perfect fighter minus that big punch, but they say in boxing, you cannot beat what you can't hit, so let's see who's the better between the two, I'd like to see the two on their first face to face.
