During their press con, Haney said that he will take out Kambosos best attributes, so I don't know how he will do that.

And I agree, maybe this is just a strategy for Haney to misled George, showing his speed and his footwork but it maybe different when they square in the ring. So if that happens, we will see if Kambosos can adjust to what Haney will offer to him.

Another marketing strategy to sell the fight but yes, it keeps them motivated and of course keeps the people to come and see them fight next month.

I'm thinking that Haney is already starting his strategy to mislead Kambosos about that Haney's open media workout, we won't see that move in the ring because Haney is also preparing something to make sure he will deliver a right result so that the score won't reach to the judges as Australia is known to mess with some fights to ensure their boxers victory.

I think it will be Haney's concern as well, but he is very confident that he will win this match regardless so he accepted this fight.

And for his open media work out, yeah, typical we've seen for boxers, they are going to show their speed and power, but we all know that it will be a total different ball game once they are inside the ring. I like the trash talk though, it will bring the best out of this 2 fighters.

I think all this Trash talking was to just hype the fight, and I really think it was normal for many fighters to do it, just to sell more Payperviews, but if George Kambosos got some fuel by means of Trash talking then he definitely got a level of getting angrier could make him stronger attitude, pretty much that is kind of negative in my opinion, but if it works for him that way, then his hitting two birds with one stone, he's going to fueling his desire to knock his opponent out and get some pay per view or a way to advertise their fight,


I have voted for Devin Haney, I really like fighters with technicality over when they fight, calculating their opponent's moves, I kind of like that kind of a fighter, but I think there are some here that prefer a fighter that has a never say die attitude and I think George Kambosos is a perfect example, and with the equal poll that we got I think this is a good competition and a good example on how these two fighters were meant for their fans and has the impact of that excitement to really watch the fight, this would be one spectacular fight,

For now the Event between George Kambosos VS Devin Haney has 3 bouts including the main event, 1st fight will be Jason Moloney VS Aston Palicte this is the card I think I will go with the Filipino, but Maloney is a promising fighter but I am sure want the Filipino to likely win, then 2nd match will be Junior Fa VS, Lucas Browne, I think Brown has the experience needed to win but Junior Fa is likely have the needed skill in winning a fight, and last will be against George Kambosos VS Devin Haney, fight.

This looks a heavy underdog for me.

But anyway, it's always up to us if we are willing to take the risk, if we go with the underdog, then well and good, besides, Kambasos is also an elite fighter and you can expect he would fight until the end.

They are both motivated check Kamboso's page and you will see the intensity of the training, it seems he is more motivated in this fight than in a Lopez fight, I don't see him as an underdog in this fight, Haney is a slight favorite but Kambosos cannot be a heavy underdog they are both champions and we have seen how Kambosos can overcome challenges, I think he wants to feel the underdog because it brings the best of him.

But he still cannot be complacent as the fight is going to be held is Australia, Haney has to beat Kambasos convincingly, by KO is the best way, and if he cannot do that, then I would not be confident that the judges will favor him. you like to see a clean fight, maybe that will happen, but clean judging, that's questionable IMO given the history of some big fight held in Australia before, familiar of Pacman vs Horn?

That's the biggest advantage of Haney in this game, Kambasos is more of a counter puncher but if his opponent is faster than him, he cannot catch him. Well, he came from a huge upset victory, and now he will be tested again against a quicker champion than Lopez, so let's see the outcome.

I just want to see a clean and fair fight if this goes to the judges scorecards.

I'm sure since Kambosos is the underdog, bettors might look for him as we have seen a big upset recently.

Yes including me, I'm also guilty about that as I did hope and expected that Canelo would still be hailed as the champion rather than the defending champion Dmitrii Bivol. I surely underestimated Bivol, I mean who would've honestly thought that Canelo will experience his 2nd defeat today when in-fact he is more experienced than Bivol.

But in-terms of Kambosos vs Haney, I'm with the latter. He plays safe and calculates his attacks well so that his stamina won't deplete easily. I might be wrong again, we don't know 

The Canelo - Bivol fight changes our perception it goes on the preparation of the fighter, on this fight, there will be no heavy favorite only a slight favorite, although I like Haney's chances but after what I've seen in Canelo fight, upsets can happen especially
if the fighter is a champion, undefeated and dedicated.
I followed Kambosos page and you should all see how he trained for his up-and-coming fight he is so serious in his fight against Haney, how can you not like this guy.

Well recently almost all of us voted for Canelo to win the match against Bivol, but obviously we have not the results and it was an upset.

But in this poll, community is divided, although Haney is the favorite, yet many thinks that Kambosos will win because of his recent performance against Teo Lopez. So we will see then, if Kambosos is the underdog as per bookies will pull another upset win.

This is one of the rare predictions here and you can expect that this is not a one-sided fight like we used to see because both of those guys are strong and power punchers that can surprise everyone with their boxing skills and it will be an unforgettable performance and hope that no one will get injured just before the fight because we all expected a total clash in the middle of the ring without hesitations. If that's the case, then the fight won't gonna reach the official's score cards.

It's still over a month but will this stay the community is divided on who is the favorite come fight night and if we see something similar like this on bookies it's going to be a very interesting fight.
My sentimental favorite is Kambosos but Haney is preferable to win if I will go technical details on the style of both fighters.

Lopez doesn't seem like he played the right strategy in that game, his aggressiveness was not well calculated compared to his fight with Loma. He probably doesn't respect Kambasos' power and was always looking to knock him out without noticing that he got caught every time he tries to take the man down. Kambasos did great but I'm not sure against a defensive fighter like Haney.

On the contrary, I think George has this personality that he thrives with this trash talking and fueling his fire to knockout or knockdown his opponent like what Lopez and his father did to him. So in the ring he proved his superiority. And just like the start of the press conference, this started to throw insults at each other signaling that this fight will be the same for Kambosos, get motivated and punish Haney in the ring but it will not be that easy.

In terms of adjustments and IQ level, it's undeniable that Haney have those capabilities than Kambosos who only knows to brag and open his mouth about his future careers in life. It might be best for him to shut up for those future opponents that he will likely face and to focus on how he would defeat Haney who is more greater than him.

And talking about Kambosos, he said he is willing to give Lopez a rematch even at 140 lbs just to shut his big mouth of his. That is if he is going to win against Haney, so it is the first agenda on the table for him because Haney is not an easy fight.

Same here, I was already expecting too see Devin Haney listed as the favourite by the sports bookies rather than Kambosos. His record was more impressive and his style is not easy to oppose especially now that he have more reach advantage than the latter.

No matter what's their game plan towards the fight because often times, that plan won't happen because of the adjustments made by the opponents inside the ring or in the actual fight as they also know that their past fights have been watched several times to study their moves. They just have to be more intelligent to analyze each others movement.

Yes, Kambosos is more of a brawler and that will be taken advantage by Haney as he can use his quickness to beat Kambasos by the scores. however, this wouldn't be an exciting fight if there's not toe to toe between the two, so let's hope that Kambasos would also be able to catch Haney and hurt him.
