This is the last title that Kambosos need to become undisputed champion in lightweight, after he made a biggest upset last year against Lopez. If Kambosos won against Haney, it will be smooth career for Kambosos, he might move to the next weight since he don't need to fight with Tank.

George Kambosos career has been expected to fight great boxers in his era since he managed to defeat Teofimo "The Takeover" Lopez via Unanimous decision and he also managed to knock down Lopez in the 1st quarter, that's why he is now fighting Devin Haney in exchange for Loma as he cannot fight now when his country is at war.

Now, Kambosos's career will be tested by Haney and I doubt that he will have a smooth win on this because the latter is also a good technical fighter and an upset might be possible even though Kambosos is the heavy favorite.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Yes, it was supposedly Loma, but Loma is in Ukraine right now, doing time to served in military, so God bless him.

I'm not surprised that the odds are in favor of Kambosos, I mean he knock down Teo Lopez and then just beat his ass hands down. Haney though is technical fighter and has no knock out power. So I guess maybe Lopez will just walk in make it a fight and make Haney very uncomfortable early. So Kambosos for me, by UD or if he gets lucky, he can knock out Haney.
I did not knew that Lomachenko was actually serving his country, quite honestly while he is without a doubt a brave man to do this I think he would do a lot more good if he was above the ring obtaining a victory, that would not change what is happening at Ukraine but it could help lift the spirits of those that are fighting for their country, so in a way it would be more useful, and about the fight, Kambosos gave a good exhibition against Lopez so it is not odd to see him as the favorite against Haney, still I think Haney may have a chance as I am not so sure Kambosos will be able to repeat the excellent performance he showed that day against Lopez.

Great fight for this year, of course, Haney will be listed as the favorite but I like Kambasos because he has a heart of a real warrior. I'm pretty sure that he will not back down, he would do the same damage as he did against Teofimo Lopez and we will again see an upset here.

This is a big challenge for Haney, he should not underestimate Kambasos who are coming from a big win.

I have seen Kambosos on hard training right now, he wants to impress because he is fighting in his native land Australia, he doesn't want to fail his country and prove to everybody that his winning against Lopez is not a fluke, this is going to be a technical fight as both fighters do not posses one punch knock out power, Haney will win this fight because of his better skill in the ring.
Most likely, but we can always see an upset because Kambosos is not going to allow himself to be beaten easily in front of the crowd. Maybe Haney is the favorite but knowing how Kambasos beat Lopez, I wouldn't be surprised if he also wins here.

I love Kambosos, he really wants to prove to the boxing world that he is not afraid to lose his belt, in fact, he wants to get more belts by fighting a champion. Devin Haney is more popular than him, and looking at the record comparison, we already who is better, but let's see how Kambasos will handle a tougher champion this time.

This fight will take place at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on June 5, 2022.

There's no official odds yet but obviously Kambosos will be favorited with +190 while Haney will become an underdog with -220

You forgot to create a poll on this fight I'm not sure if the community will vote in favor of Kambosos we all know Haney is a technically good boxer he may not be a hard puncher but he fought intelligently and always get a win, he is the kind of boxer that can land a punch and duck a punch, hs ring generalship is way better than Kambosos, so I'm sure the community is divided on this.

I think it will be awesome if Kambosos will face Loma in this fight. This will be huge as Loma will have the chance to get back the belts that Kambosos has taken from him. I do hope though that he will be given an exception, just like Usyk by the military to go and fight and bring honor for their country outside like in boxing. But it seems that is not going to happen so Plan B for Kambosos, now he has to face another champion in the division. Although he is the weakest amongst them, I think this will still be a good fight for Kambosos again.

Yeah, it would be great to see the match between Loma and george but sadly it won't happen anytime soon.  But well, who knows maybe this fight (Kambosos vs. Haney) might give us a better fight.  They are both undisputed champions so I think they will do their best to protect their record.

Considering that Haney is a technical fighter and has lesser power between the two, Haney might stay as a defensive player, this fight may probably end up in a scorecard.

Another good match for the talent laden 135 lbs. We also have the come backing Ryan Garcia here so it will be again a lot of good match between the 4-5 fighters. But the man at this point is George Kambosos he has most of the belt right now because of his huge upset of Teofimo Lopez.

But in this fight, for sure he will be tested by Devin Haney. I'm speculating that this is going to full distance because of Haney's trying to play defense at the same time being the technical. But I will still go with George, base on his last performance against Lopez, he is a well rounded boxer. He can go fight toe to toe and then maybe play technical against a technical fighter in Haney.

If Kambosos vs Devin bets in the ring this time, I think it's a suitable opponent from their age, they are both relatively young, Kambosos (28 years) and Devin (23 years), Despite being 6 years apart from Devin, what is debated and questioned by boxing gambling addicts is the career they have, very different where Devin at the age of 23 already has a record 27 - 0 - 0
(15 KOs), while Kambosos at the age of 28 has a record of 20 - 0 - 0 (10 KOs).

In the boxing arena between Kambosos vs Devin I am more confident for Devin to do his best next June 5th, in the ring, even though Kambosos is known as an undefeated boxer and won several trophies such as: WBO, WBA, WBC and so on, they can both be said to be professional boxers, but those whose names are bets must have one of them.

^ Kambosos and Haney are two world class fighter. I'd actually think its going to be quick fight and this I could say the mafia will be confuse who they'd want to win. Too much risk so its better to just let them fight with all they could give. Both could shut one another in first round.

Oh too bad, hope Loma gets out alive there. Jesus its not boxing ring that he is into.

@Kemarit. However, I speculate that @bisdak or @Boafeng might be surprised on why George Kambosos is the favorite considering that Teofimo Lopez jr. is the only big name in his record. There were speculations that Lopez had problems in his preparation against Kambosos. Also, Haney might be very fast for Kambosos and Haney would not have a similar style like Lopez where he will fight power with his own power. Haney might take this to 12 rounds and win with a unanimous decision.

Not sure what you meant by Kambosos don't need to fight Tank after this. I guess if his body can't squeeze to 135 lbs, then definitely he can move up. But let's see.

As far as this fight goes, the pressure is on Kambosos, to show that his win against Kambosos is no fluke. And against a tactical fighter as Haney, it could be a different strategy and if he fights Haney's fight, then maybe we can see some upset.

Previously the fight was planned Kambosos will fight with Lomachenko, but due to Russian invasion, Loma cancelled the fight and he will stay in Ukraine to defend his country. The vacant slot got substituted by Devin Haney, which holding lightweight WBC title.
