the highest was +425 for Casimero, however, I think the odds will likely reduce if they will fight soon because Casimero had won more fights after the fight between them was cancelled, but I'm pretty sure Inoue is still a heavy favorite.

Surely the odds will change as Casimero has beaten Rigondeux which was a champion as well and he is now in prime and could potentially beat any fighter. Most probably the odds will reduce to +250 and it's still good odds IMO as we saw how good Casimero is especially if his opponent is aggressive like Inoue.

If this fight will happen, I think the fight will not early as they are eager to KO each other, and both have a good KO power.

Casimero is still in the US to train and prepare himself for the possible next fight, so we can tell how serious he is to be at the top.
Casimero is good in close range combat but doesnt mean that he would really be having the edge compared to Inoue in terms of raw power and talking about being tactical then i would definitely choose up Inoue for this one.

In comes with odds then i wont really get surprised if it would really be lesser as the day of the fight approaches but it isnt really bad to throw some bucks to bet on with this guy.
We do have different perspective but i do still choose Inoue.

Inoue is no doubt the best fighter in the bantamweight, but sometimes we look for some upset because the odds is very attractive. If the odds will be the same as in the past, then I would also not doubt betting on Casimero because that is surely a steal or a value on him.

Casimero was an underdog when he fought Tete, I'm sure Tete could be a problem for Inoue because of his reach, so that alone convince me that Casimero has a big chance of an upset win over Inoue.
Upset could really happen and if do box way more better and more sustaining than on what had Donaire done in last fight then he do really have the chance.

I dont really remove the probabilities of upset on here thats why lots been saying about the odds given on Casimero is really very attractive specially if those numbers wont change.

There might be some changes in decision or choices later on depending on the odds given.

After all, it's not just about the odds but since most people in this thread are Pinoy, a pick mostly for Casimero is likely to happen here.

Sometimes, we are disregarding the real strength of any PH opponents because of solid support. As in my case, I really see Inoue winning over Casimero for a 70% chance but of course,  since I want to support Casimero I will disregard that. Besides, I really like to take a risk on high odds even at any other sports so will put some bucks for Casimero to win the fight.

But before that, this match doesn't have any progress until now. Currently, what we just read is rumors and speculations.

Well, well, well, it seems that we can finally see the fight that's been on demand, this is a fight that Casimero has to win because all of the nonsense trashtalk that he did is definitely going to backfire against him not to mention that Inoue wants this fight because of those stuff that he said. All in with Inoue in this one, probably betting some for KO.
Yes, this fight is likely more than with Donaire. Just as many have speculated that there are probably talks that are happening in between of both fighters and they're trying to push this match on December, by the end of this year. And that's possible and even if it's still not that much for Casimero as he came from a fight, that's not a long or short rest and training for him to face Inoue. Well, we would love to see how these two clash and we'll what happens inside the ring with all of these rude call out by Casimero if they face together.

Me too, I've been looking forward of this fight when Casimero's words sort of provoked Inoue to have a fight with him, with so many articles I have read, I already forgot what started all of this, does anyone have any article that I can use to help juggle my crude memory. I'm the same but I don't think there will be a KO, Casimero might be talking shit but he's tough.
It is because on Casimeros crude call out:
https://www.philstar.com/sports/2021/08/20/2121376/please-organize-match-inoue-bites-casimeros-crude-call-out
https://sports.inquirer.net/433981/naoya-inoue-responds-to-casimeros-taunts-please-organize-a-match

He's trying to make Inoue bite off and that one is successful.

Yah just watched few videos of Inoue and Casimero. Inoue seems to be yes calm and steady in playing as well as in his speech. Casimero just provokes Inoue and others so that they respond back to fight. Not sure if both fought with each other. Kindly provide me the link to watch their fight. Inoue seems be so quick and sharp, Casimero seems to be energetic and hunting.

They have not fought yet so you can't find a link on that, and it's also possible that they will not fight unless the contract is ready. It's only all talks between the two now, Casimero keeps trash talking in Inoue will respond he wants to fight Casimero, but the question is, "Where's the contract?".

Ah fine Japinat. Will wait for it. Everyone's eye must be on the contract as of now right? Their fans out here are more exited to watch the show including me. Who bets on Inoue Japanese Bruce Lee, must be a gainer I predict. Any prediction who will win if the match happens so. Must be very tough to decide as both are more skilled and strong enough. Lets see.

There were betting odd already available when the fight was first announced, unfortunately, cancelled due to the pandemic.
I think the odds were somewhere near to the list. https://oddspedia.com/boxing/john-riel-casimero-naoya-inoue-669474#odds

We know Inoue wants this fight badly so he could teach Casimero a lesson, however, a mere statement is useless if they will not sign a contract. The contract is necessary to bind them legally, if not, we will just continue to speculate and there's a possibility that this fight will not happen soon.

Exciting fight as both fighters are eager to knock down their opponents with those many trash talks Casimero needs to prove that it's not just a talk, but he has something that the boxing fans will love to see.

Though the heavy favorite remained with Inoue, fighting with a hot name and the possibilities that this fight will take place in his home crowd that's adding more intense since Casimero makes a lot of trash talks he will surely make him pay for treating him like that.

Still no dates or there's nothing from both camps, all with social media channels.

Yes, I do agree. Some boxers can fight more than one in a year. Remember Pacquiao-Broner & Pacquiao-Thurman last 2019. Consider the age of Pacquiao at that time at 40 yrs old. So these young boxers can definitely accommodate at least 2 fights in a year. We are waiting the official announcement of their promoters but hopefully this Inoue-Casimero fight will happen this year.

There is a high probability that Casimero could fight at the end of this year in fact his promoter/handler Sean Gibbons doesn't want him to go back home in the Philippines as he wants him to train for the upcoming fight this December against either Donaire or Inoue but seems like that Sean Gibbons is interested in pitting his ward against the WBC belt holder, Nonito Donaire Jr.

Quote
MP Promotions head Sean Gibbons said he’s hoping to have the 38-year-old Donaire on board for a late 2021 showdown with Casimero pitting the WBC champion against the WBO title holder.

Either fighter would be good for him, what would happen if Inoue is not anymore interested as he had already cancelled their potential fight? So even if Gibbons is after Donaire, he will just be wasting time because Donaire has another agenda, and that is to fight Inoue.
Well, that is possible to happen and there is no event that will push through. This is probably a mutual understanding between fighters and the final decision will come from them, not from the people around who mostly don't know the deal about boxing. This is a kind business, money sharing is making some boxer not to agreed with and it happens to several boxer, even Manny have no excuse for this.

Is Inoue open to fight Casimero now?

I know its normal for some boxer to trashtalk because it can trigger your opponent to challenge you and see whose stronger but I dont like this behavior of Casimero.

Anyway their first scheduled fight were postponed last April so hopefully this will happen soon. Since like what the article stated, Casimero is willing to go to Inoue's territory just to fight him.

He is open to fight and he answered that they should do it inside the ring. But Casimero just came from a recent fight so there's still a resting time.
The thing is that we don't know if they're already communicating and setting this match as soon as possible.

They can schedule the fight by December, I'm sure Casimero had already had some rest now, and they can also start training as soon as the contract is signed. It's open to the public that Inoue wanted to have this fight this year, but until there's no contract signed, we can't assure we will see it this year.

For me the fight should happen next year, whether in US or in Inoue's Japan.

I agree that they need to rest first, one fight a year will be good enough. Besides although fans are still allowed to watch the fight live, it's better to happen in 2022 as more people have been vaccinated by then. And maybe they need to work out the terms of the fight and there could be a lot of back and forth changes

Some fighters can have 3 fights in one year.

Liked Canelo Alvarez will have his 3rd fight this year with Caleb Plant. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/348759

While Casimero and Inoue only had one fight this year so far, I think they are still good for the last one which could be scheduled in the last month of the year. I think Inoue should have not said that he wants to fight Casimero this year if he is not serious with that.

It's because Canelo is one extraordinary fighter. I'm not saying that Inoue or Casimero is not, but the average boxers goes for a 2 fight in a year or even 1. The thing is that there's not even a contract, everything is like "he says she says", unless their is a contract or the fight is being announce with finality, the fight most likely be happening next year, at least that's how I can see watching Arum moves throughout the years with guiding Manny Pacquiao's career.
