I wouldn't doubt about Caraballo's power, Sultan has to be careful as he is facing a very dangerous fighter, winning all his fights via KO, that's something special, he is like a Wilder in the bantamweight division, and for Sultan to be able to win, he needs to be the Fury.

Record wise, we can say that Carlos Caraballo is a dangerous fighter but he should not let his guard down against a dangerous and aggressive Sultan. I made a few searches on Sultan's previous fights and the attached youtube video below caught my attention. Sultan was challenging Tete for his continental belt and man, that was a very dangerous KO and I'm sure that Caraballo's camp has seen this.

Sultan is under the MP promotion now and he will fight an undefeated fighter who has a 100% KO rate.
What do you think his chances against the Puerto Rican in this fight?

Looks like Sultan is being used as a stepping stone for some upcoming boxing sensation. I'm inclined that Sultan will lose this one but it would not be a knockout win for Caraballo because the latter will is a tough nut to crack and he got the advantage on fighting some current champions like Jerwin Ancajas and Casimero, in fact, he won against Johnriel Casimero almost four years ago.

Yeah, let's see if Caraballo's power can crack Sultan's chin, otherwise this will be a tough battle for him as Sultan is very rugged and tough so he might test Caraballo here. I can't call Sultan a journeyman because he has faced a lot of Filipino champions in the past and even bet Casimero. So this is going to a 60/40 fight for Caraballo. Sultan could be motivated to show his skills under the banner of MP promotions.

If that's what promoters would only do, then boxing would be boring. I believe MP promotion is always up for a challenge and they know this fight will gain the attention ot the fans, so they are making it happen, for Sultan to beat an undefeated fighter with an impressive KO record, he needs to train harder as this could be his toughest fight.

Stats wise, Sultan needs to have harder preparations knowing Caraballo's records. Something that he needs to work out and make sure to find the ways countering this monster.

But MP camps may see different things as they call this fight, it's a good opportunity for Sultan to gained the attention inside this sport. If he does win this fight, other promoters will aim for him.

He needs to showcase everything to break the records of Caraballo, else, it will turn to the other side and the fame will be added to Caraballo.

That's the risk in boxing, it's either you go down or go up, it's a competition where the better fight will go up and will become popular in the future. If MP called this fight, they did a great job because for their fighter to fight an undefeated fighter with a scary record, this could result in a loss for Sultan, but maybe they saw something that Sultan could use as an advantage over Caraballo.

Rising Filipino boxer Jonas Sultan takes on Carlos Caraballo, the Puerto Rican sensation who has beaten all his opponents by knockout

On paper, Carlos Caraballo appears to be a monster. A perfect 14-0 slate and all by knockout.

For Jonas Sultan, however, ring record hardly matters.

This Caraballo looks good and promising he has a good chance to win a title and that is if he beats Sultan who is a very tough fighter campaigning in the US, MP promotion will not give him a fight that he cannot win, I'm sure Caraballo is on a big surprise because he is fighting a tough fighter very different from all the previous fighters he fought.

I certainly bet on Caraballo, his record can be used as a reference, but on the other hand also that Jonas Sultan's agility cannot be underestimated. Look at the many things that have been discovered from Caraballo's career achievements, we were even impressed when he brought down Casimero. From these two fighters, it is clear that we will witness a faster and more accurate punch. Both of them can attack each other and do counter attacks from all directions.
Caraballo is more likely to win in this match, I think that besides the experience that he has, he also has more power and endurance than Sultan so it's unlikely that Sultan can win.

I don't know why use the word unlikely, it means no chance at all have you seen how he beat Casimero by a unanimous decision how he frustrate Casimero, Casimero is already a good fighter at the time they met, Sultan still has a chance to win, he has a very tough body and chin so he'll put up a good fight and challenge Caraballo's power it's an even match for me, we must not underestimate what Sultan has achieved.

If Jonas Sultan will have a rematch against John Riel Casimero their fight will not be the same as the last time, I think that both boxers have surely Change their fighting technique and power Casimero vs Rigondeaux have proven that John Riel Casimero has improved in his speed, he is likely not allowing Rigondeaux to leave his sight, and if they would likely to clash, I think that John Riel Casimero will likely to win now, I may be biased here but on their last fight Casimero is not the same Casimero back in 2017, but Sultan is also not the same back then, I think when the Naoya Inoue VS John Riel Casimero bout would settle I would love to watch a rematch between this two pinoy boxer.

Probably, but if Caraballo will win and it will not be in KO, that would end his winning streak in KO, so I'm sure he will work harder and will not underestimate Sultan as his opponent here is a decent fighter, actually fighter than came from the Philippines cannot be underestimated, they have a tough training and most of them start from nothing, so it's already inside of them the motivation to win to get a big fight in the future.

I looked for several sources to see how the two have differences and abilities that each have between Jonas Sultan and Caraballo. In terms of history, of course, here Caraballo demands that I be seeded with 14 wins with a knockout record. So of course this is a challenge for Jonas Sultan to be one step ahead. Moreover, being promoted by Manny, of course he also doesn't want to disappoint the Legendary. But in boxing or any fight the possibilities are always changing and not in a favorable condition for either side.

So in this debut, I will be happy to see the proof between the two. In the sector of Sultan himself when he defeated boxer Sharone Carter to move up to rank 9 in the World Boxing Association bantamweight contenders.. It would be very exciting if this went on fiercely.

Carlos Caraballo is a well-known knock-out artist this may signify a very hard fight for Jonas Sultan, and looking at the good KO/TKO record on Caraballo I am pretty amazed at how he does it, And yes Jonas Sultan might have won against John Riel Casimero but it was a pretty close fight, but Casimero right now is an improved boxer that is qualified in making challenges against Naoya Inoue, but this fight really interest me in who's going to win I am pretty skeptic if Jonas Sultan could withstand that punching power of Carlos Caraballo, I really think it is much dangerous to fight Caraballo head-on in my opinion, Sultan might need his critical thinking in taking Caraballo, but Still I would like to support our fellow Pinoy boxer, but may still research some bits on how Caraballo fight and what is his fighting stance.

Now, he'll be pitted against Caraballo, a technically sound and powerful southpaw who hasn't gone beyond five rounds thus far, in a bantamweight 10-rounder.

I'm just curious since this is a bantamweight match-up, how does these fighters rank compared to Inoue and Casimero?
I believe both are bantamweight champions. sorry, not so knowledgeable on the rules.

Caraballo's career as a knockout artist will be put in a big test against a guy who has fought tough fighters and that includes Casimero, Jonas Sultan is not known for fighting big punchers he has a tough body and chin and he knows how to counterpunch, this is also a very important fight for Sultan, beating an up and coming fighter with a perfect knock out percentage is a great achievement.
It's a test for both fighters who deserve to advance in the bantamweight division.

Once I hear the name undefeated, I always believe that the fighter is really good.

I'm not actually impressed so much with Sultan, so I think this is going to be a great challenge for him and if he beats an undefeated fighter with this kind of KO stats, he will surely bring glory to his country and he will become more popular.

His goal is to win, and it's good to see him fighting under MP promotion, the biggest boxing promoter in the Philippines and from the Philippines.

Great challenge by Jonas Sultan,  I'm impressed with the power of Carlos Caraballo since all his fights are won by KO. Actually, I'm not familiar with Carlos Caraballo but I feel he is going to make a name in the sports of boxing, so let's see if his win streak and KO streak will continue.

Please update the betting odds once available.

He will make a name if he beats Jonas Sultan, Sultan is a title contender he has fought a lot of tough fighters he's never been knocked out in his fights some of his losses are on the decision, this fight is a feather in the cap for both fighters, although Caraballo has an excellent record I'll go for Sultan he has a good generalship than Caraballo.

Same here, I don't even know this boxer, he has an undefeated record but what matters is the quality of the opponents that he beat. It's my first time hearing this name, and based on his record, he is undefeated and won all fight by KO, that's kind of scary, but you know, Filipino fighters are like Mexican fighters they would fight toe to toe.

Right, so maybe the quality of his opponents in the past is not that good? Usually though at the start those big punchers or have a good ko percentage, if they are that good no matter who the opponent is, they are going to knock them out, B or C level boxers. But in this case, it is a step up, as he will be facing a Filipino who is known to be very durable.
