Pretty nice odds for Jonas Sultan. I'll be waiting for more market on that fight, probably more hours and we will see the odds for per round.

I would still take the ML though, it's 5.80 and I think Filipino fighter here will give a good fight against the undefeated Caraballo.

How bookies see Sultan is very undervalued, so it's an opportunity to take.

I agree, the ML is very attractive not to put a bet on it, even a few sats won't hurt our chances to support the Filipino fighter here.

It's because sport bookies haven't heard Sultan, and he has losses already if I'm not mistaken. Then he is facing this Puerto Rican who has a lot of hype and knock out artist and undefeated. But this kind of value is what we wanted for an underdog, and if ever Sultan wins here then it's good money to us.

I'll base my analysis on this fight on the previous fights of Sultan, he won against Casimero who is a very hard puncher, and he lose to Ancajas who is also a hard puncher by a decision that could only mean Sultan can take a hard punch against fighters who are known to be hard punchers and based on what I see on Caraballo he fought fighters who take his punches and these fighters are not skilled enough compared to Sultan.
If Caraballo will win the fight it will be in the early rounds, if Sultan will win the fight it will be by a decision, it's skill against power, let's see who can play it better.

Right, I also check the odds on sportsbet, its not yet there, hopefully they are going to list this fight and we wanted to see what the odds are. And obviously, Sultan will be the underdog here and we wanted to bet on him specially if the odds are going to be 3.x and higher.

As for his strategy, yeah, just shell up and go dance and avoid Caraballo and hope that he will tire soon and then that's they time he needs to be aggressive and make him work in this fight. Might be easy said that done though, but Sultan has been with big punchers and no one was able to beat him by knock out.

Odds are already out for this fight and it is higher than we expected. I have to admit that this is a very difficult fight for Jonas Sultan with him facing Caraballo who is a young prospect from Puerto Rico but I would still be backing him being compatriot and of course, he has the attractive odds.

@Baofeng, odds for the main event for this card are also out bro and it's almost even. Who you've got for this Zepeda vs Vargas match-up? Last time I know you won big betting for Zepeda, right?

Yeah, I had a good win on Zepeda the last time, he was really focus on that fight. I think I will still go for him coz he is the underdog and that odds are very attractive, hehehe, you know that we love to bet on the underdogs and pull an upset so that it will give us a good win here.

Who knows though, if Caraballo is real or not, looking at his records, yes he is a knock out artist, but Jonas Sultan is very different from the previous boxers he all knock out. Of course, we are going to back him up against this Puerto Rican hehehe.

Obviously, the bookies see the power of Caraballo more than the experience of Sultan, it's really attractive this is one of the times that Sultan is the underdog, this is a very important fight for both fighters, Caraballo is touted as the next Purto Rico star and Jonas Sultan is very much ripe for the title.

Betting sites have given the 25-year-old Caraballo (14-0, 14 knockouts) an 83.68% chance of winning as against the 29-year-old Sultan's 19.42%.

That makes this fight more interesting now, an experienced fighter against a young and undefeated champion with a 100% knockout ratio. I hope Caraballo will give him a challenge and probably upset the bookies for underestimating Sultan.

1. Caraballo by Decision.
2. Sultan Moneyline.

The first one is no good since Caraballo is a KO artist, he might lose in the decision, the 2nd one is good because of the odds.  Smiley

What time will be the fight tomorrow?

I'm glad that the line is out early so we can start analyzing it, but as for me, I would just take the Filipino fighter and I'm gonna be biased. I'm thinking maybe I should put a bet like Caraballo winning by decision, I guess that's a decent bet as Sultan is strong, if he won't be KO then it's a win for me. Betting on both fighters might still be profitable, here are my possible bets.

1. Caraballo by Decision.
2. Sultan moneyline.

Sultan does not need to do that, he doesn't need to taste the punches of Caraballo if he can avoid them.
Caraballo has already punished his opponents in his last 14 fights and he beat them all by KO, so that would already say how strong his punches are.

Sultan is tough, we all know that but Caraballo is a different opponent, he should use his speed to avoid those power punches.

Sultan will be in trouble if Caraballo will find his range early so he got to avoid those power punches until the third quarter of the fight where i think the sting of those power punches will not be so powerful anymore as fatigue would set in during that time.

For Sultan to win he got to let Caraballo feel his power also, not just run the whole time.

A few days before the fight but still, there are no odds for this one even the main event for this card (Zepeda vs Vargas) had no betting options in my favorite sportsbook.

Yes, Sultan should avoid those punches early, because that's where Caraballo will be dangerous, he will be fresh and strong. And usually those one punch knock out artist do get tired and frustrated specially if they don't land those shots or if the opponents are taking their punches without effect.

So that will be a good strategy for Sultan, try not to fight fire with fire and play good defense early and at the same time dish out some to get the respect of Caraballo.

Take note though that Caraballo is not a one punch ko artist. If you have to look at his highlights, it's almost a accumulation of punches that makes his opponent go down.
Carlos Caraballo is an upcoming young talent with full of confidence and i think Jonas Sultan is the biggest test of his career. In lower weight divisions you cannot expect everyone to be a knockout puncher, accumulation of punches will do the job.

One thing that will go for Sultan is that he is somewhat awkward and this could throw Caraballo a bit as he is a southpaw. There might be clash of heads here, just saying.
Carlos Caraballo won all of his fights via knockout and Jonas Sultan has never being knocked out in his career, there is no doubt that the skills of Carlos Caraballo will be tested in this fight.

Gonna be a good fight, though I'm looking forward to see the battle of experience here, Jonas Sultan has more experience than Caraballo and the fact that he hasn't been KO'd his whole career makes me actually curious on how the fight is gonna go, Carlos Caraballo on the other hand has an advantage when it comes to age and the fact that this kid has made quite some highlights with  how he knocks his opponents out is something to watch out for, who knows? maybe this will be Sultan's first knockout?

Hard to see how this fight will turn out, a experience Sultan and have a granite chin against a young and knock out artist in Caraballo. So it's a tough battle, Sultan's chin will be tested and this is Caraballo stepping up the plate as well.

I would say, let's see in the first couple of rounds, if Sultan become aggressive and tag by powerful punches and if he didn't go down then maybe he can win this fight. But if that chin breaks then Caraballo by knockout and the winning streak continues.

That means this fight is worth watching for, even the fighter with the best record does not underestimate his opponent, I'm sure he knows how capable Filipino fighters are in winning the fight and Sultan is the only Filipino that beat Casimero in their fight. He has one of the total 4 losses of Casimero, so his a legit competitor.

The guy is no doubt one of the strong opponents of Caraballo in his entire career where he can make his record shine when he beat this real contender in a clean way. On the other hand, Jonas Sultan has been given a rare chance to fight Caraballo and I think it's better for him to give everything here where he can change the flow of his career if somehow he can beat this guy with some kind of fast and devastating knockout even though the guy is a knockout artist himself.

He should and Sultan is more inspired now as he is already fighting in the US where his dreams are close to reality. Though Caraballo is clearly the favorite here, let's see if his winning streak will continue against a durable fighter who has not been KO before. (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/648292)

That's the expectation of this fight because based on his record, no fighter was able to stand with him longer in the ring, so yes it's a challenge for Sultan and that would make him the underdog of the fight which we like to see as we are going to be betting in this game too, right?

Records only showed the previous fight, but it will never ascertain a win or will continue facing a new fighter who is also hungry for a win.

Another thing, Carlos Caraballo has never fought a Filipino fighter yet, so this should be a big challenge for him too.

Sultan a 'strong, experienced' fighter, says unbeaten Puerto Rican foe

Clear as water,  Wink No one can accurately predict if same form the fighter will be when facing another opponent, those previous fights can be reviewed and see if what are the lapses from your opponent but it's not the complete basis since the fighter can easily adjust and change his strategy and style of fighting.

Sultan might be an underdog but his heart as a Pinoy and hungry fighter will give him inspiration to do his best to try bringing hypes to his name.

Caraballo acknowledges Sultan's experience, something that he needed to prepare and train harder.
Boxers that reaches this far has already proven their capabilities to Win and beat their opponents .
meaning in one way or another punches of them can bring opponent down.
so either Sultan or Caraballo delivers that strong punches cannot be predicted and that same thing means the winner can only be declared after the fight, though analysis can favor one but that can't be proven right unless declared.
