I agree if Sultan can take Caraballo's punch and frustrate him just like what he did to Casimero, Caraballo is in big trouble, I consider Sultan to be a more technical fighter he is always not in a hurry to knock out his opponent always patient and wait for the right moment to deliver his big punches, I'm on Sultan on this fight.

If the Caraballo won't have the chance to finish him in the early rounds then he will be in big trouble. it seems like Sultan does not mind if the fight will continue until the last round because he has lots of stamina. When he fought Casimero and manage to take the win, I think he has lots of confidence to beat Caraballo with the same strategy again and also with an updated version of it cause he has improved a lot since then.

I just checked my favourite sport bookies and no odds yet for this fight.

But as others have said, Caraballo will be the out standing favourite here based on his unbeaten record. Nevertheless, he can underestimate Sultan, and for bettors he is a live underdog. A 3.x odds for him will be great, as it will be very attractive for us. And personally, I'm giving him a chance against this supposedly knock out artist, he hasn't face a caliber like Sultan in the past, so maybe he will be in for a shock, specially Filipino who has a big fighting heart.

Caraballo has a good knock out record but it goes down to who he has fought and knock out, Jonas Sultan is one of the few fighters who has beaten Casimero and he beat Casimero by unanimous decision and he handle Casimero's power effectively he has gone to a lot of tough fight and he has fought fighters who has punching power because he can take it, I'll go for Jonas Sultan, but still, this Caraballo has a knock out power.
Agreed, at the beginning of their careers many boxers have a high KO rate as they are fighting against other boxers which are just starting out their careers so this is natural, it is later on their careers when you can see if they actually have the punching power of a champion when they begin to KO other established fighters.

So while a perfect record and a 100% KO rate may seem impressive, and in a way it is, I am more impressed by the resume of Sultan and the fights he has sustained in the past against good boxers, and if I were to make a bet I will make it in favor of Sultan.

Until they start throwing punches we can't tell who's really better between the two, as even thereare available data but fighters

always have surprises when already inside the ring.

A good strategy that most champs have, observing the opponent's attacks and try to see if they can take solid punches and if does, they will begin to counter and start attacking. If Sultan sees that way, Caraballo is not in the good place, though it's been a long while when Sultan beats Casimero, but the confidence that you can repeat the same win over and over already inside him.

Can't wait for the betting odds for this. I'll be more on Sultan's side.

I hope that Sultan will be the underdog so I can bet more on him. He is an underrated fighter and I know he has improved a lot under MP promotion, so that's the reason I like him if he will be listed as the underdog in this fight, if not, then I might just sit this one and just watch the fight without a bet.

He will be the underdog because he is not the champion and his opponent is undefeated.

What I only like to see is the odds will be available early although the fight is one month from now, at least when the odds are available early, we can bet on Sultan and we might have the best value of odds.

Sultan coming from a big KO win against Carter, I guess that would help boost his confidence.

I believe sportsbooks' favorite here will be Caraballo, but the gap of odds? We don't know yet. But even x4 for Sultan is good enough to bet, as he is not very popular yet. So bookies may take him for granted and highly favor Caraballo here. Which of course, is great for those who will bet on Sultan. We've seen upsets this year, and this one may not be excluded in the upsets of the year. Maybe a week before the fight, the odds will be out from crypto sportsbooks.

@Russlenat - right, the blue print has been laid out by Manny Pacquiao. So Filipino boxers can follow it to the tee. On the other hand, I believed that Pacquiao is destined to be one of the greatest that came from the Philippines after the Flash Elorde.

So it's dedication and a little of timing and of course the God given talent to really propel the next generation of boxers like Jonas Sultan to follow in the footsteps of Manny Pacquiao.
Even if the blueprint is laid out for them to follow to the tee, it's hard to replace the legacy that Pacquiao has left, and it's insurmountable for now given that there's no announcement of retirement yet for the People's Champ, they have to keep striving for this to happen.

Caraballo is definitely will be the favorite of bookies here. However, we don't know how much gap they will give to these 2.
No odds yet for this two fighter, we can't tell who's going to be the favorite and who's serve as underdog.

Quote
So if the odds are high on Sultan, may be better to bet on him especially if the odds on Caraballo will be like 1.0x.

i go with you, I also eyeing for sultan if Caraballo earned the bookies, better to risk your money with high stake odd

which very possible to make an upset.

Quote
These days, everyone can make an upset if he is truly prepared for the fight. So we can't really be sure here even if Caraballo has very good record and more popular than Sultan.

I actually think on the contrary Jonas Sultan will increase his motivation in boxing because he got the best card in boxing against Caraballo, despite the fact that in the ring Caraballo is almost on average beating his opponent under the fifth round and he always carries a trophy.

It's true that Caraballo's career in the boxing arena has not been defeated, but I think Jonas Sultan should train even harder to fight Caraballo, October 30th this is the right and good opportunity to lift Jonas Sultan's career in boxing, I'm not siding with Jonas Sultan, I remember LEWIS beat TYSON back then, all can turn around not as we imagine, factor.

I'll wait for the betting odds before I will make a conclusion, Sultan might be the underdog here because he is not a champion and his opponent has a great record, so it's again an opportunity to beat the underdog as we all know that Filipino boxers are quality boxers, and the fact that he is working under MP promotion, it adds some confidence.

Pacquiao may retire soon as a boxer but he will continue to mold the young boxers and give them the opportunity to be popular in the world.

He is the one that we have all been waiting for, he makes history in boxing in the world and mostly in the Philippines as being a promoter, he can give an opportunity to the young boxers to fulfill their dreams. Actually, we have a lot of good boxers in the Philippines, the only problem is that they don't have the opportunity to show their talent to the world, so it's a blessing that MP promotion is created which is more focused on sending their boxer to fight abroad.

This is why he has this MP Promotions, so they are taking care of younger generation boxers from his country.
Lucky for these younger boxers as they have connections to penetrate the global boxing market.
Remember, when Pacquaio was just starting, they found it difficult to look for a promoter as he was just starting to make a name in boxing.
Now, this MP Promotions may have been grooming these younger ones who can make their name in boxing just like Pacquiao.

Exactly, it was difficult but because he did not miss the opportunity to give an impressive win when he was noticed to fight as a substitute against Lebwada who was the champion, Pacquiao's name become popular as what happens next is he keeps winning fights convincingly.

The Puerto Rican might be a good prospect but he is facing somebody with much more experience and this will be a significant test for him. Sultan has not been consistent enough to become champion. He beat Casimero but then lost to Ancajas. Sultan has 5 losses but has never been knocked out. My prediction is that this will go the distance but the undefeated fighter will get the decision.
Surprisingly, he beat Casimero in 2017 and that was a good match because they both gave their best shot. With the record that Sultan have, its pretty bad for me and it will be hard to attract gamblers to place their bet on him since he is fighting a great boxer with a clean record so this will be an easy prediction for me, he might not get knock out but Caraballo will give him the taste of great boxing for sure.
That was a long time ago, imagine, it's more or less 4 years and during that time Casimero is still not under the MP promotion. Casimero really improved under MP promotion as he has great people that supports him and Manny is very supportive as well, if I'm not mistaken, Casimero has not loss a single fight yet under MP promotion.
Actually, both fighters had already improved and I hope they will not fight each other again and they just have to continue making their respective names popular in boxing sports. By the way, for those who do not know yet, Sultan is also now under MP promotion. (source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonas_Sultan)... so there's no chance that we will see a Casimero vs Sultan fight.

With the same promoter, it is unlikely that they will be fighting.
Obviously, they will look for other boxers with different promoters.
But I am interested with this upcoming fight, if Sultan can upset Caraballo.
Will being under MP promotions help him to be an excellent boxer?

Being under MP wil help him a lot as far as his career. Even him and Pacquiao could have the same trainer, it is still different though. He really need to show the world if he is capable in the world stage since he has the experience already having fought two champions in Ancajas and Casimero.

If he will take advantage of MP Promotions and delivers the goods then hopefully he can break into the US audience as well like other Filipinos under Pacquiao's banner.

He is already at the right promoter, all he needs to do is to continue to trained to be ready every time he has a fight, and he also has to ensure that he wins the fight, and if not, go back to training and win next time. The recipe for success is not easy, but they could also see Manny Pacquiao as their inspiration to work hard as boxing changes his life from nothing to be one of the richest and infleuncial person in the Phillipines now.
