No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
The Puerto Rican might be a good prospect but he is facing somebody with much more experience and this will be a significant test for him. Sultan has not been consistent enough to become champion. He beat Casimero but then lost to Ancajas. Sultan has 5 losses but has never been knocked out. My prediction is that this will go the distance but the undefeated fighter will get the decision.
Surprisingly, he beat Casimero in 2017 and that was a good match because they both gave their best shot. With the record that Sultan have, its pretty bad for me and it will be hard to attract gamblers to place their bet on him since he is fighting a great boxer with a clean record so this will be an easy prediction for me, he might not get knock out but Caraballo will give him the taste of great boxing for sure.
That was a long time ago, imagine, it's more or less 4 years and during that time Casimero is still not under the MP promotion. Casimero really improved under MP promotion as he has great people that supports him and Manny is very supportive as well, if I'm not mistaken, Casimero has not loss a single fight yet under MP promotion.
Actually, both fighters had already improved and I hope they will not fight each other again and they just have to continue making their respective names popular in boxing sports. By the way, for those who do not know yet, Sultan is also now under MP promotion. (source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonas_Sultan)... so there's no chance that we will see a Casimero vs Sultan fight.

The undefeated will always prevail, either Sultan does his best twofold or even hundredfold or be half cocked and get defeated, he has to step up his game on this one because it's going to be the big match and pretty sure that there's a lot of eyes on this match.

If Caraballo wanted ot keep his undefeated record, he is the one that are pressure in his fight. So he might over extend and that's where Sultan is good at, getting his opponent off balance and not giving them the time to set up their power punch just like in the Casimero fight. Casimero can't get anything going because Sultan is beating him to the punch. So this is still a good fight so we shouldn't underestimate Sultan here.
I don't know that he fought Casimero, so Sultan is really legit, he can give his undefeated opponent some problem because he is also good, maybe just underrated. Sometimes, we only look at the record, and if we see an undefeated fighter, we presume that he is a great fighter without going through the quality of his opponents.

Rising Filipino boxer Jonas Sultan takes on Carlos Caraballo, the Puerto Rican sensation who has beaten all his opponents by knockout

On paper, Carlos Caraballo appears to be a monster. A perfect 14-0 slate and all by knockout.

For Jonas Sultan, however, ring record hardly matters.

Boxrec records.
Carlos Caraballo
14-0
Jonas Sultan
17-5 (win-loss)

Sultan is under the MP promotion now and he will fight an undefeated fighter who has a 100% KO rate.
What do you think his chances against the Puerto Rican in this fight?

The truth is, these are the types of fights that I like to see, the truth is that the Puerto Rican has the highest chances of winning, however the Filipino if he manages to win it will be a great feat, because this is the type of event that any boxing athlete expects. If he doesn't make a good fight, at least the tie I don't think he can take off in any other way, unless he faces someone with a much more winning streak, but it's very difficult, this opportunity is the one that the Filipino has to take advantage of. .

I have seen some of Jonas Sultan fights he was beaten by tough fighters and champions I have too much respect for Jonas Sultan skill, power, and toughness in the ring, yes he is facing a power puncher but he is not facing a power puncher for the first time in his career, Casimero is also a knock out artist and has power in both hands, Sultan will win the fight because you cannot beat a fighter you cannot hit, let's see if he can hit Sultan with his power punches.

Experienced gives Sultan a good chance to beat Caraballo and just like how you described those last fights that he has, those champions who give him chances to keep improving.

We will see how prepared Sultan's camp to face the Puerto Rican, a good turning point in their careers. Both have a good impact once they won this fight.

Let see who's going to excel against his opponent. I would like to see aggressiveness from both sides and
a good counter punches to excite the fans more.

If Sultan survives the early round and the scare of being knock out, then this could go to the distance and it will be on the hands of the judges. And since Caraballo is the A-side here, probably he will get the decision. He lost to Anjacas by decision, that's really show how durable Sultan is, facing two champions and winning against Casimero.

Is there some odds already? I bet it will all goes down to Caraballo after all. I think Sultan will never fight him though if he thinks this is too dangerous for him, it's always a 50-50 until you give it your all. This is a chance for both fighters on what they've truly got, though not being biased but I'll root for my fellow countryman. Grin
No odds yet, unfortunately, the fight schedule is still next month, and to be honest, I'm not sure if crypto bookies are going to open up a line regarding this fight.

It's better to go with the underdog though, I mean the returns is obviously huge and in this fight, Sultan is a live dog because he has fought name fighters from the Philippines.
Ohhh, that's surprising. I think there should be some kind of hype once the fight is nearing and these bookies will realize how others anticipated such a fight for future HOFs (I guess so).

Caraballo is experienced and seasoned fighter and comparing him to Sultan, I think that we will see something that's pretty much one sided. But you're right, they have to give their all in this match to be able to upset the current belief, especially Sultan.
I think it's Sultan that was more experienced but Caraballo's dangerous resume of only having KOs on all his fight is the best  stat could ever have in this fight to side for. They both are in their primes and I guess that's how exhilarating this fight was.

Jonas Sultan is a beginner and he's just starting to create his name in the boxing industry yet we shouldn't underestimate his capability because we all know how Filipinos could surprise their viewers during the match. It will be a tough fight for Carlos Caraballo but I'm sure that he'll also prepare a lot for this.
He is not a beginner, look at this boxing record (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/648292), he started fighting in 2013 compared to Caraballo who started his career in 2016 (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/773544). Jonas Sultan also has more fights compared to Caraballo, but what matters here is his perfect record, just like Inoue who only has 21 fights and yet he is the most popular in his division now.

maybe not a beginner but starting to make a name in the world of boxing. if he can beat caraballo, definitely, his standing will greatly improve as well as the upcoming offers. so for this bout, sultan needs to prepare to show what he's got. if he can ruin the unbeaten reacord of caraballo, that would be great for his career. but more then likely, bookies will highly favour caraballo here.

What do you think his chances against the Puerto Rican in this fight?

Looks like Sultan is being used as a stepping stone for some upcoming boxing sensation. I'm inclined that Sultan will lose this one but it would not be a knockout win for Caraballo because the latter will is a tough nut to crack and he got the advantage on fighting some current champions like Jerwin Ancajas and Casimero, in fact, he won against Johnriel Casimero almost four years ago.

Yeah, let's see if Caraballo's power can crack Sultan's chin, otherwise this will be a tough battle for him as Sultan is very rugged and tough so he might test Caraballo here. I can't call Sultan a journeyman because he has faced a lot of Filipino champions in the past and even bet Casimero. So this is going to a 60/40 fight for Caraballo. Sultan could be motivated to show his skills under the banner of MP promotions.

I wouldn't doubt about Caraballo's power, Sultan has to be careful as he is facing a very dangerous fighter, winning all his fights via KO, that's something special, he is like a Wilder in the bantamweight division, and for Sultan to be able to win, he needs to be the Fury.

I will say that Caraballo's power is over rated and can't be compare to Wilder. if you look at his record and the class of the opposition he face:

https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/773544

All of his opponents who he knock out, all has losing records.

But if you look at Sultan's record here: https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/648292, the level of opposition he has fought, and he hasn't been knock out before. All of his losses are UD/SD. Even Casimero wasn't able to put a dent on his chin and even win by UD.

Record wise, we can say that Carlos Caraballo is a dangerous fighter but he should not let his guard down against a dangerous and aggressive Sultan. I made a few searches on Sultan's previous fights and the attached youtube video below caught my attention. Sultan was challenging Tete for his continental belt and man, that was a very dangerous KO and I'm sure that Caraballo's camp has seen this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMllqkIbt1k

That kind of power needs to face a fighter that is also powerful. I have never seen this kind of standing KO, seems like his opponent could have slept if not because of the roofs. hmmm.. I feel like despite Sultan is not undefeated, he should be given full respect due to his power and Caraballo cannot be too complacent here.
