For sure both of them are looking for knock down they are both undefeated and its a big honor for them to win by knockouts.  Vargas want to steal the belt from magsayo But for sure magsayo will not just easy opponent and if he loss for sure in the hard way and that the easy one. This is one of the best fight in there division in this year so it is very interesting and exciting to watch for the bettors.
The best and most impressive boxing fight of the year, because for any type of fight when facing on the list of both undefeated boxers, my prediction is maybe the fight will run in long rounds and the action of hitting each other to dominate the fight. Although many other analyzes say it will end in a KO victory, it is actually not easy to bring down an opponent who has balanced skills.
This is why its very challenging for Magsayo to defend the belt because his opponent has also the same record and same skills and the talent is there. Both will surely look for that KO win to boost their career but we can’t know who will gonna win here. I bet for Magsayo but I’m not expecting that much, I just want to watch the fight and see for myself the winner for this match, its exciting to see both good boxer fighting for the title, this can be a big fight for both boxer.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
For sure there could be pressure on his shoulder to keep the Flag flying for us and this is a very difficult fight for him. Nevertheless, he has a good chance to win against Vargas.

The pressure is still there for sure because, in this fight, he is staking his belt and his undefeated record, so if he loses this fight, there's a chance that he won't be able to get big fights again. I hope he will train harder to beat Vargas, an impressive win will make his future brighter.

Let's just relax and let Magsayo handle Vargas, we know it's not an easy fight for him as Vargas also has a decent record, but just believe on Magsayo, he is a champion and undefeated for a reason. Also, if he lose in this fight, I believe there's still a chance for him to get a big fight as long as he continues to fight and prove himself once again that he is deserving for the belt.
He can or his camp can call for a rematch since he's the defending champ, but I'm not looking on that scenario. I would love to see Magsayo to keep proving himself and continue to have that clean record. Though it's not ours to conclude if how these fights will end and how Vargas will try his best chasing Magsayo's belt, but again, at the end of the day, we all want to see them collide and showcase both skills and strength.

Bettors and boxing fans will surely enjoy these upcoming fights if both of them are aggressive in knocking down one another.

We can reserve that rematch speculation if ever Magsayo will be defeated next month against Rey Vargas, for now, let's just be optimistic to our fellow compatriot and believe in him that he can do a successful defense in his title. For sure Vargas is a tough guy and so do his records say but I would like to see him with Magsayo sharing a ring first.

So we will see if Magsayo can test that and landed on Vargas and if he can get up and not get knock out by that left by Mark.
Vargas should not allow that to happen as Magsayo really has the power to knockout an opponent, that's the best chance of Magsayo to win and therefore Vargas should be aware of that. Why would he give Magsayo the edge in the fight if he can score by points only, he has to be smart to beat the champion.

Magsayo is not a champion for just nothing if Vargas will be careless. Magsayo can take the full advantage

knocking him down. The Pinoy pride is also explosive and has a solid combination that can KO Vargas. It's expected that both
fighters will be aggressive proving something in their upcoming fight, there's no room for mistake and carelessness, fans will
love to see explosive toe-to-toe exchanges of punches between them.

I hope both will be aggressive so we will have not to worry anymore about Magsayo successfully defending his title. This is his first defense, right? So he should make an impressive win here, a KO win is the only way, there's no way Magsayo will win in the judges scorecards on this fight, he should seek for a KO as fans would love a boxer who is a KO artist.

Personally, I really like to see how both will come up inside the ring with both intentions to win,

Vargas to attain new division belt while Magsayo is to defend his title and bring more hypes to his name, the winner will take
all especially the token to have more money fights.

We will just need to wait for the outcome of these upcoming fight almost 3 weeks or fewer and we will see them inside the
ring and start impressing the fans.

Magsayo has to win this because he is the only Filipino champion that is left.

In the bantamweight division, we had Donaire and Casimero, but now they don't have the belt anymore.
Only Magsayo is left, hopefully he will not be pressured and he will also work hard to retain the title and maybe soon he can move up in weight to collect another belt.

Just to correct you though, we still have one Filipino champion, Rene Mark Cuarto, who held the IBF mini-flyweight title. And he will have a fight against a Mexican Daniel Valladares, so he will have to travel to Mexico and this fight is scheduled on July 1.

For sure there could be pressure on his shoulder to keep the Flag flying for us and this is a very difficult fight for him. Nevertheless, he has a good chance to win against Vargas.

Thanks for the correction but honestly I don't know Rene Mark Cuarto, I haven't seen him fight yet,  your comment makes me search this guy on youtube as I'm quite interested on how good he is since he is a champion.

Magsayo is quick but he will have to be careful that he doesn't gas out trying to utilize the quickness. He needs to manage his energy well. It's true that in later rounds punches don't generally have the same power as when a fighter is not tired. He will have to keep that in mind as well.

I think this kind of problem will be solved since they have Coach Roach on their side.  What I am worrying about Magsayo is being cocky or careless thinking that he can overwhelm his opponent.  I also hope he has fixed his problem of opening up whenever he goes on the offensive.  After all, Vargas is an experienced boxer capable of hitting deadly counters.

Looks like Rey Vargas is confident to counter Magsayo's heavy punches. In the article released 2 days ago, Vargas stated: "Magsayo Has Great Power - But We'll Be Ready To Counter That"[1]

Magsayo by KO/TKO or Vargas by Unanimous/Split decision

^ That's the most likely result of the fight that I can see. Magsayo would likely invest in the body early on (like chopping a tree) before going for the chin. Vargas to try to keep his distance and outbox him (possible KO win too if he catches Mark with a clean counter).

Another factor to consider in this fight is Magsayo's faster recovery time because of his youth. He might get hit and hit by Vargas but he could absorb/endure more.

I might go with Magsayo to win by a unanimous or split decision, I mean he does have some chance to end the fight against Vargas by KO/TKO but not as good with the chance of UD or SD. The latter is also an experienced fighter so we have to consider that he will also try and produce good scores every round against the title holder and current champion.
Go for it. Odds for Magsayo by UD/Split would probably be higher than a KO/TKO. You have a good point and I consider Vargas as a more technically skilled boxer. I just don't see him losing on the judges scorecard. It looks like he's mastered the art of winning by points in the later stage of his career. His longer reach will be problematic for Magsayo.

Disregard any technical analysis if you want to bet on who really you like.

It's like supporting a boxer disregarding the opponent's strength just like we did in some previous fight involving a PH boxer. After all, it's really hard to speculate on what type of winning methods does this fight will end.

For now, I'm not seeing a TKO on both boxers but a point dominance by Magsayo. He can take advantage of his quickness in the early rounds just like before. I'm also expecting him to be a different boxer now with much more replenished stamina as that's the problem he is facing before.

For support, I think anyone can support anyone but when it comes to money, people should make the best decision with enough analysis. But having a good past record also doesn't mean that it explains exactly what will happen though.

Magsayo is quick but he will have to be careful that he doesn't gas out trying to utilize the quickness. He needs to manage his energy well. It's true that in later rounds punches don't generally have the same power as when a fighter is not tired. He will have to keep that in mind as well.

He is not quick like other champions IMO, he is the champion, yes, that is right but the fact that some are still doubting him, that only tells they are not fully confident that Magsayo will reign for long in his current division. I hope Magsayo will prove the doubters wrong, and it can only happen if he win by KO.

I would like to see Magsayo though score a KO/TKO against the highly touted Mexican. He has never been stop or knock out in his career and if Magsayo will win by that, then his stocks are going to go up and could be line up against great fighter in this division. Maybe a rematch with Russell after he wins or any names. This featherweight is pretty stack up as of this moment and this win will really put Magsayo's name on top with the likes of Navarrete, and Mauricio Lara and Josh Warrington.

It's probably a hard fought 12 round fight. Hopefully Mark will have a lot on his gas tank if the fight goes to distance. Specially in the championship rounds wherein anything can happen, a knock out/down. And if he throws a lot of punch, he should be ready or learn how to phase himself.

Interestingly enough, I will also do the same with you now especially if you look at the odds you listed it is clear he is the seed and that is very reasonable because he is currently defending the title.
But in this case I still feel that it will undergo changes as time goes on and approaches the fight as -200 isn't really a huge favourite.
However, the analysis of odds cannot be trusted completely due to the fact that during a boxing match the pattern of dominance can change depending on which boxer is leading the hard punches. In the struggle for the featherweight title, both boxers will train hard to win, even though one of the boxers is rated lower than the opponent but it is not impossible to win the match.
Actually in this case I'm not only using people's opinion to do this but indeed I know about Mark's strength because I've also seen him fight in the ring so I'm pretty sure of that.
But indeed, as you said, I wrote a few words from there that sometimes we can't make bets, just look at the analysts because indeed when fighting in the ring everything will be something different and I remember the fight of Inoue and Donaire some time ago.

I think dominance is dependent on who is creating and leading the tempo.  Boxing isn't all about hard punches, and the fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao is one example of that.  Odds look at the previous fight of these two, and whoever has a better performance and stats will surely be picked as the one with a higher odds.  But of course, the result of the game is irrelevant to the odds given to each player.

Yeah, I see the same way too. Magsayo might be our compatriot so, of course, our support will go for him but what I like about him is that his talents are undeniable and that same capability is already enough to take out Vargas from the list. Also, he got Coach Freddie and that counts as an advantage as the man has some incredible experience.

Same here, I wanted to see Magsayo prove himself in this fight. I think we will see an upgraded Magsayo in this fight.

^ It's either someone will whisper to them that they are the underdog or his team are into social media (most likely) and they will find it out sooner or later. But it shouldn't matter though, Magsayo should focus on the fight itself and not what analyst or bettors are feeling. Just accept if he will be the underdog, he has the belt to proved that he is a champion anyways. The fight is like a couple of weeks from now and hopefully Magsayo should just peak in time and not overtrain in this fight. That's the only thing that might be a factor for him, maybe he will overtrain because he want to give us fans a good fight.

Yeah, but does it really matter if he is listed as underdog or if his team knows about it? He might probably just smile if the odds is out by now or the day prior to the fight. What is important is that he come to fight and beat Vargas by whatever means. Of course we would like for him to score a knock out, but a decision win is acceptable as well.

Nah! That won't really matter and as if they care enough if they are listed as favorite or underdog. Their performance won't be based on that listing just like being listed as a favorite won't guarantee one's victory. Both boxers will fight for their own legacy as they are both undefeated but Magsayo should definitely try to win this fight as he's the one who can't afford to lose rather than the challenger.

Yes, there are a lot of upsets in boxing, and Mark if ever be the underdog, will be a good one as what we have discussed previously. And I also didn't see any pressure coming for him, he just need to go and fight hard and hopefully their training and work will payoff if he will score that knock out. Vargas is undefeated  and has the experience, but it doesn't mean that Mark can't take him out.
