Message @Hhampuz if you are looking for a CM!
I'm little much excited for this much but I hope he wins so that we can see a possible rematch to the japanese monster which once defeat him.
Don't worry, he will win this, Gaballo although undefeated but he has not faced a quality boxers like Donaire, this is the first time he will feel that he is not yet ready to fight a champion, and if he can't take down Donaire, that means he has no chance against monster Inoue who has been dominating the bantamweight division or let's say the most popular.

Since the fight has no particular date yet, this gives both fighters to have more time to train and they'll be 100% in shape in the fight date.

Jack of all trades 💯

I tell you, man, don't just based on the statistics, based on the quality of opponents these two boxers have fought.
Check the record of Donaire https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/48243

here are some of the names of the champions that he beaten.

Nordine Oubaali
Vic Darchinyan
Jorge Arce
Fernando Montiel

Tell me, what are the big names Gaballo beat in his boxing career?

On the other side we can't set aside to look for the fact that these statistics of a fighters will be used as a basis to determine the odds that may favor towards a fighter. But you still have a point mate, those statistics are just the statistics of a boxers past and recent fights and for sure every fighters have had an improvement in their physique's, in their strategy and improvements in their speeds and skills but there are given skills that are the true assets of a fighter that can be seen through out his fights. Donaire is such a good boxer and Gaballo is also a good one, so I can say that the upcoming fight is a very anticipated fight.

This is the basis of the expert to see who's more stronger among those fighters but when the fight is on things will be different since we might gonna see that the other fighter will change it phase and been more prepared for this fight, also age might be consider unto this since we know Donaire is not the same as before but let see what performance he can show and I want him to win against Gaballo so that we can see a possible rematch between him and Inoue.

Donaire has to win to have a big fight again, he should not waste his chance to fight Inoue as most likely, Inoue is just waiting for him since he is confident that he can again beat Donaire in their rematch, and that time, Inoue will get bigger money as it's unification fight and it will be held in the USA for sure.

Yes this is like a make or break to him since we know he's aging boxer so he should put all unto this fight so that we can see him win. But I have a huge trust on his capabilities since he's still Donaire which we know a truly good fighter. I'm little much excited for this much but I hope he wins so that we can see a possible rematch to the japanese monster which once defeat him.

Winding down.

But when this match is exactly going to happen? I cannot still find any information of the date when this match has agreed to happen.
They did not mention the date yet, maybe they are still working on it.
I did some search now and I could not find any information about the date and the venue, but only found this one (https://www.ringtv.com/627430-reymart-gaballo-says-hes-ready-to-face-idol-nonito-donaire-in-mandatory-fight/) which is interesting.

In that article, Gaballo said he is ready to face his idol in boxing, that's 100% respect but I hope he will show his skills in the fight and give his best to remain undefeated although people believe that he will just loss easily.

Right, it's probably going into the same process, purse bid and then the winner announces where and when the fight is going to happen. But for sure this is going to push both are willing participants and there only 1 champion for the WBC belt, Gaballo holding the interim belt, while Donaire having the regular belt for knocking out Ouballi.

So let's wait, he might have a big respect to Donaire and even calling him idol. But when the bell rings, for sure they are going to "kill" each other in the ring.

Yeah, I'm expecting that as well, Gaballo will go for a kill but he has to be careful as well as he is an easy target for Donaire in this fight if he will not adjust or change his strategy. If we saw his last fight against Rodriguez, there are many times where he got hit with a solid punch, he is just lucky that Rodriguez is not a KO artist like Donaire.

Yeah, that's why I've asked too because I can't find any information about this match so probably they're still in the process of talks and there's no official contract yet. Maybe after a few days then we're going to see that both sides have agreed already.

That's a sign that Gaballo acknowledges how good and strong Donaire is and yes, a sign of respect.

Both the fighters are statistically so good. Gaballo (24-0, 20 KO) will fight Donaire (41-6, 27 knockouts). I would have to say that Gaballo has a very good knockout ratio than Donaire, but also Donaire is a good technical fighter. Donaire has the experience and Gaballo has the KO'ing ability. I'm so eager for this match and I'm rooting for Donaire, maybe he can give Gaballo the first taste of defeat.
That's what I've noticed with their records and I think that these two can really show a good match up. It's an interesting match if Gaballo wins then he'll put a record for defeating Donaire, a strong fighter.
While on the other hand, if Donaire beats him, yeah he'll taste the very first defeat of his record career.

There's always that possibility that Donaire will hand Gaballo his first loss in professional boxing as the former is too experience and have to battle big names in the ring in the past but with his youth and raw power, Donaire should not take Gaballo for granted as this kind of fighter is very dangerous in this kind of situation as they want to carve their name with a spectacular win over a more popular boxer.

So this is an interesting match but does anyone knows that this is a go? I mean, do they already have the schedule for this fight?
Yes, that's really likely because he has the experience but on the other side of the picture, we cannot also ignore that it might be another victory for Gaballo.

So this is an interesting match but does anyone knows that this is a go? I mean, do they already have the schedule for this fight?
There's no schedule of the fight yet, but most likely it will be next year as the announcement was made last month and they have to prepare for this fight first. Maybe the fight will be in US as well, and both fighters will have to show their best to impress the fans especially for Donaire if he wants to have a shot at fighting Inoue for a rematch.

They are still in the negotiation stage and the promoters will come out with a date because this is ordered by the WBC and this is mandatory and both fighters are more than willing to take the fight, Graballo I read is on hard training right now this is the biggest opportunity of his life and he also said it's an honor to fight Donairebut he will go all out for the fight.
Exactly, this fight will not be cancelled but they have to finalize the date and the venue and will make sure it will draw a crowd to make this fight successful for both the fighters and the promoters, you know, boxing is business, so it's not easy to schedule without ensuring it will be a profitable fight.

Would really be a big stepping stone for Gaballo if he would able to beat up Donaire on this one even though it wont really be simple as it sounds but i could see this guy could really have a shot

and this fight might not really that interesting for most people but this is surely some decent one compared on that Casimero vs Rigo fight which is totally hell of a boring fight.

Both are filipinos i believe which are known to be great fighters/boxers which means this one could be good one too.

Gaballo needs this kind of encouragement. It's time for him to showcase everything. He had amazing stats and adding this one will bring him to the top. Stealing Donaire's belt will open a wide opportunity for him.

Meanwhile, Donaire is also trying to keep himself up he wanted to continue being a champ, now he's calling the attention saying that he's open for possible fight against Casimero, the drama continue since Casimero managed to snatch the attention between Donaire and Inoue, now it's Donaire's time to call the attention of the fans.

After the mandatory fights, we will see if something will be considered between these two camps.

Well, it's an impressive record but I don't see how it's going to be a really tough match for Donaire, it's not like he hasn't faced this kind of fighter before so I won't be switching sides but I admit that it's going to be s tough fight nonetheless.
I could feel that Donaire would follow the footsteps of Manny Pacquiao who has just retired in the boxing industry. Donaire has a good record and he's been creating a good name which is a good foundation for his career. His match against Gaballo would be tough but I'm sure that he'll make things more exciting this time.

that 24 wins in all his fight and 20 of them are Knockouts are proof that this man is a Monster inside the ring .
Well he is really something. I watched his previous fights and I can say that he is more like Inoue, fast, agressive and know where to hit his opponent. However he is not well known and those opponents he managed to defeat are also not popular the reason why he is not recognize yet. But if ever he defeat Donaire on their upcoming fight, it might be the start for him to be on the spotlight so lets see whats going to happen.

Right, this kid has some serious power and good body shot too, although I would say the talent is still very raw (although the videos I have said is 2 years old), so a lot of improvement. But this one is really going to test him against a experience Donaire. So it is going to be very close fight, don't count out this kid, he could be the next big fighter coming from the Philippines. If he can pull an upset, he will have a bright future and who knows, he could challenge Inoue or Casimero too as he will have the full belt if he win.

I would only say he is good if he can beat Donaire. Gaballo has the power but honestly, I don't see his technique be effective in a boxer who also has the power to KO an opponent. It's a big challenge for him, though he is only a challenger just imagine if he will beat Donaire here, he would get a chance to fight Inoue and if he wins, he would be the most successful Filipino boxer who is still active.
