so Donaire will be the favorites and we just have to choose on what fighter we will put our money.
Where do you guys are going to put your money? Reymart as said has good stats but also Donaire shouldn't be underestimated with their strength and experiences.
Both really has an end and there could be one lucky punch that any of them can throw which can give the winner a sudden chance when they see an opening.
I will stick with Donaire here, as been said Gaballo's stats is just a stats. I don't see he fight with many good boxer, most of them were beginner so I wouldn't see a high chance Gaballo will beat Donaire in this fight.
Donaire could play defensive when he fight with Inoue before, so I expect Donaire can took all punches from Gaballo's aggressiveness and give counter punch to Gaballo.

Regarding the betting odds, Donaire will obviously the favorites here.

Obviously yes.
Gaballo could be around +100. Though he (Gaballo) has more KO percentage, punching power, height, and age advantage than Donaire, but Donaire has more experience and more skilled fighter. So, that will decided the odds of this match.
However, Gaballo here could pull a huge upset If he can improve his fighting style as he is facing an elite and veteran figther.

I think that's a little bit low considering Donaire had an impressive win and he is the champion. +100 is only equivalent to 2.00 in decimal, so I don't see the odds that close, it could be +200 for Gaballo and -300 for Donaire. However, I believe the most interesting odds here is the KO market, we can check the odds from round 1 to round 6 KO and see if which are more attractive to bet.

When are they going to publish the schedule for this fight? In this fight, don't underestimate Gaballo as he is much younger and  with undefeated record. Though Donaire has the edge when it comes to experience. And with his recent win, more than likely sporstbooks will favor Donaire here. If Donaire will win, do you think his camp will ask for Inoue's fight again? And what are his chances?

Gaballo is not underestimated here, he was just talking about the possible odds of the fight which likely Donaire will be the heavy favorites. Gaballo is young and undefeated and he has a chance to beat Donaire, but what the oddsmakers see is what people think, so Donaire will be the favorites and we just have to choose on what fighter we will put our money.

I tell you, man, don't just based on the statistics, based on the quality of opponents these two boxers have fought.

here are some of the names of the champions that he beaten.

Nordine Oubaali

Tell me, what are the big names Gaballo beat in his boxing career?
Statistics can be very deceiving and that is why we need to give it context so it takes into account the circumstances in which everything happened, and this is not only true in sports but in everything, the record of Gaballo is without a doubt very impressive but when we see the names that are behind those victories then it doesn't look as impressive as it may seem at first sight, but when it comes Donaire things are different, however we also know that all of that doesn't count and that all what matters is what you do above the ring during that particular day.
Exactly, if we only look at the statistics, then I guess we are not analyzing it properly as there are a lot of factors that we might miss. The presumption of some is, once a fighter is undefeated, they will likely win the fight whether they are an underdog or the favorite, I would say that's wrong.
so who will Win then? you did not give your own analyzation in this matter  Grin

I am aiming for Gaballo in this fight  because i think Donaire does not have that strength and capacity to bring down this strong fighter.
i don't want to disappoint those Nonito's Fans here but i think he had already find the one that will bring Him down and stops His career forever.

Its early to say either Gaballo or Donaire well get a favor on this fight since we know how though this two fighter is and also we can't deny that Donaire is almost past on his prime but he's still capable to defeat his opponent as he has still power to do that but I'm sure many fans are split on their decision on where to bet but I will go on Donaire for this since I want him to win to lift up his legacy on his career I also want him to take revenge on Inoue also want to see a fun match between him and Casimero.
I would believe he already past his prime if he is not the current champion, if we saw his last fight, that was the classic Donaire we witnessed in his previous fights and he is coming back now to the weight class where he is more comfortable. Gaballo is young and strong, well, that's true and no one disagrees with that but Nordine Oubaali was a strong fighter too, he was undefeated before he got KO by Donaire.

Its early to say either Gaballo or Donaire well get a favor on this fight....
Even if the odds are not yet available, we can already presume that Donaire will be favored to win the fight, he will be the favorite in the betting sites because he is the current WBC bantamweight regular champion, while Reymart Gaballo is the challenger here.

I will also presume that Donaire will be the favourite here, maybe 1:3 to win the belt again.

He is the A-side on this fight, although Gaballo has also the belt, it is just an interim. So it will settle who is the WBC bantamweight, just regular and no more interim. Gaballo though is pure and raw power, while Donaire has the experience and the timing, respect for both Filipinos.

The very character of Donaire, he's more on timing and the skillsets that he have from this sports is more superior than Gaballo.

We don't know but I also pressume that bookies will favor doanire in terms of odd, not being biased but siding Donaire
really be in most fans and bettors.

Respect for both, they are bringing pride and  glory to our country!

Reymart Gaballo is a rising Filipino boxer but Donaire is a season, he is going to his retirement so he should end up his career with some good wins. It's just bad for Gaballo that he has to fight a Filipino boxer, but even if both are Filipinos, this is their job, they have to give the best they can to entertain the fans and win that belt.

Regarding the betting odds, Donaire will obviously the favorites here.

The challenger are always the underdog, but it doesn't mean they are not good because this is boxing after all and everything can happen. Though of course, I also in favor to Donaire but I'm open for any possibility and I'm for their final announcement and hope to see the odds. Donaire must take not advantage against his opponent, same thing for Gaballo this should be a more serious match between the two fighter.

We also need to consider the age as well, Nonito beat all this fighters during his prime, specially Darchy, Arce and Montiel. There's also another Japanese whom he beat as well, the Japanese is the champion if I'm not mistaken.

But the Ouballi fight, Donaire is coming from a lost to Inoue and that's what surprised as all. Others say he is well past his best years but he gives us another highlight knockout.

But who knows, maybe is this fight, Donaire's age might show up, just like Manny against Ugas.

There is no assurance that Donaire will win this of course. We cannot tell with 100% certainty that Gaballo will be the loser in this fight. If we look at Gaballo's record, we can easily tell that even if his statistics is a stunning 24-0-20, he has not yet faced an opponent with a caliber like that of Donaire's. But this is his long-awaited chance. He has the power and the youth to defeat Nonito. Donaire will be a nice stepping stone for him. He shouldn't be affected with the popularity of his opponent come fight day. He shouldn't be affected by how underdog he might be. He should go all in.

Nice stepping stone if he will look at it that way. This opportunity is once in a lifetime. If he managed to beat Donaire, he will receive more offer with much better fighters. Big check is waiting for him. We all know how much money is involved with this sport, he still young and still in his youth, the same advantage Inoue has when he beats Donaire.

Though there's a big difference between Gaballo and the monster, but by looking for great inspiration, he can use his flexibilities to bring a good fight against Donaire, a possible upset may take place if Donaire will be careless during the fight.

For sure the camp of Gaballo has already come up with a game plan against Nonito. It will now be up to Gaballo to execute it properly on the day of the fight. He shouldn't let this opportunity pass.

For me, Nonito is not a difficult boxer to analyze. He is no Manny Pacquiao. Nonito is not a volume puncher. He does not have a lot of combinations. He is just a counter puncher, a fast and powerful counter puncher though, so Gaballo has to watch out for it every time he attacks. Lucky for Gaballo, Nonito is not anymore his old self. Age has definitely taken a lot from him in terms of speed and power.

I'm little much excited for this much but I hope he wins so that we can see a possible rematch to the japanese monster which once defeat him.
Don't worry, he will win this, Gaballo although undefeated but he has not faced a quality boxers like Donaire, this is the first time he will feel that he is not yet ready to fight a champion, and if he can't take down Donaire, that means he has no chance against monster Inoue who has been dominating the bantamweight division or let's say the most popular.

Since the fight has no particular date yet, this gives both fighters to have more time to train and they'll be 100% in shape in the fight date.

There is no assurance that Donaire will win this of course. We cannot tell with 100% certainty that Gaballo will be the loser in this fight.
