But you still have a point mate, those statistics are just the statistics of a boxers past and recent fights and for sure every fighters have had an improvement in their physique's, in their strategy and improvements in their speeds and skills but there are given skills that are the true assets of a fighter that can be seen through out his fights. Donaire is such a good boxer and Gaballo is also a good one, so I can say that the upcoming fight is a very anticipated fight.

This is the basis of the expert to see who's more stronger among those fighters but when the fight is on things will be different since we might gonna see that the other fighter will change it phase and been more prepared for this fight, also age might be consider unto this since we know Donaire is not the same as before but let see what performance he can show and I want him to win against Gaballo so that we can see a possible rematch between him and Inoue.

Well he is really something. I watched his previous fights and I can say that he is more like Inoue, fast, agressive and know where to hit his opponent. However he is not well known and those opponents he managed to defeat are also not popular the reason why he is not recognize yet. But if ever he defeat Donaire on their upcoming fight, it might be the start for him to be on the spotlight so lets see whats going to happen.

You are correct there. Age is not hitting Donaire, at least for now. Not just against Oubaali but his performance against Naoya Inoue. If Donaire and Inoue are in the same age and prime, the former can destroy that champion. And prior to fighting Inoue, he reached the finals of that event destroying a much younger boxer on his way to the top.

Look at some highlights about Nonito's counterattack. It can give heavy damage even to a prime boxer. Gaballo knows that. It's hard to fight a counter-puncher wherein Gaballo's majority of his winning is not against a boxer of that type. He will be tested against Donaire and that will be the best opportunity in his career to fighting against a solid counter-pouncher.

Age might affect Donaire's footwork and speed but his counter punching ability?? Hell no and yes we've seen it against Oubaali. The counter punches and the power of his punches are still there. He isn't as athletic as he is at his prime which is understandable I think but he can still fight younger and strong fighters at his age. He's like Pacquiao that can beat fighters still even they are at near 40's already.

Its a Filipino against a Filipino then and Gaballo is also undefeated as well. The trashtalks of Casimero went to nothing. I don't want to say that Gaballo has the upper hand in this fight because Donaire can still dominate but.. yeah lets just see what will happen. For us Filipino countrymen, for sure we will watch this fight since we are seeing 2 Filipino fighters fighting for a title

If Donaire still has his skills even up to this time, then Gaballo has no chance of winning this fight. But if what remains today is only his name and his skills are already dramatically subsided, then Gaballo will dominate the fight through the rounds if he just stays calm and not rushing to knock Donaire out. Remember, even though Donaire loses his speed and agility, he still has that deadl y counter punch that can turn the table in just a few seconds.

There's something still in mind like Pagara but recently he was charged with a case of raping a teen (NSFW) but the boxer denied the accusations. I don't know if he can still get his feet back on the ring and I admire his skills in boxing but this current issue surely put him to some serious challenge. There are other professional ones like Ancajas, Marcial and one of my favorite as well Magsayo. Nonito should be at top of this since he got more experience and more popular internationally.

That's correct, he announces it a few days ago and it's not surprising anymore as after that he also files a candidacy to run for the presidency. It's the decision that he has to make as he cannot anymore do politics and boxing together since he is running for a higher position.

It was previously announced that he will have a fight in the 1st quarter next year as a rematch against Ugas, that's not gonna happen, all we can see next year are the rising Filipino boxers, so it's important that we will support them.

Stamina is something an issue to Donaire but we have seen on how he lasted up until 12 rounds against Inoue which simply means that this one wont really be an easy thing for Gaballo.

He would really need tooo have something on at least able to be on par with this upcoming fight on an opponent which is good at speed and counter punch.

He can last in 12 rounds but based on the past results, he lost most of the fights if it last in 12 rounds, so that's the strategy Gaballo's camp should study. Donaire is a knockout artist, his opponent cannot be careless as one mistake, the fight might be over. Gaballo will be the underdog for sure, and as I see on this kid, he is not mentally tough to face a high-caliber champion.

That is interesting data, there are fighters that are simply not built to fight the 12 rounds, they need to win before that happens or they need to accumulate a big enough difference in points during the first 8 or 9 rounds of the fight in order to win the fight even if they happen to lose the rest of the rounds, Gaballo will need to train his body like he has never done so in order to have a chance, and since he is relatively young this is an advantage he could exploit against Donaire.

Man, IMO, power is not the only factor in winning boxing, boxers have different ways of fighting the opponent. I Saw Donaire's recent fight and I can tell that power doesn't leave him, and you can see those punches marking on the enemy and add those defensive skills of Donaire. Never doubt every boxer's ability to fight, both of them are still in a good shape and this fight will be really good.

I think it should be Donaire that should be the underdog in this match. Despite that he's popular and also well known, Gaballo's record is good with zero losses.
And even Donaire has a lot of fights already, he has 6 losses. This is just my opinion about this match if looking at their professional records, only 4 fights out of 24 fights of Gaballo were not knockout. That's a good percentage for his entire career.

If basing with that impressive stats of Gaballo but in most cases, fans and bettors choose their pick either popularity or experienced, Donaire have both in my own opinion, Donaire earned popularity since from those previous fight he made he also impressed boxing fans and with experienced he shown his boxing style and earned the title as Filipino flash.

And even Donaire has a lot of fights already, he has 6 losses. This is just my opinion about this match if looking at their professional records, only 4 fights out of 24 fights of Gaballo were not knockout. That's a good percentage for his entire career.

If basing with that impressive stats of Gaballo but in most cases, fans and bettors choose their pick either popularity or experienced, Donaire have both in my own opinion, Donaire earned popularity since from those previous fight he made he also impressed boxing fans and with experienced he shown his boxing style and earned the title as Filipino flash.
