I have to agree here.

If Fury gets past Wilder III then he probably will beat Usyk by KO or TKO well before 12 rounds. The chances of Usyk beating Fury are not high.

It's not high but possible, so many losses their bets here, many thought Usyk chances to beat Joshua is slim but look at what happened, we really can't rule out an upset, Joshua on this fight can't figure out Usyk, he fought an intelligent match, I also thought Joshua has a good ring generalship but look at what happened, there's a possibility of a rematch but it's better if Usyk will go against the winner of Fury - Wilder match.

Joshua needs to win his re-match with Usyk to get any credibility back and get in the ring with the winner of Fury vs Wilder III but for me Joshua just is not a proper technical fighter and it showed again this evening when Usyk beat him on every level and in every round. Joshua is brave but that alone does not win boxing fights.

We will probably not get an undisputed champion anytime soon due to the rematch clause in this fight, but I think Fury vs. Usyk is a much more interesting fight. Joshua would not have done well against Fury if he is not even able to take a punch from a cruiserweight.

IMHO, i think a Fury vs Usyk will end with Fury knocking out Usyk. Fury just needs to win against Wilder and we can all get to witness the fight. Everyone including myself was hoping to see AJ and Fury fight, is there any possibility of this still happening later on? if it ever happens and AJ fights with same morale and laxity that he fought with today, i don't think he will stand any chance.

Damn, what a fight. Usyk, played well in this one. Was waiting for that, one punch just one punch from AJ  Grin But hell it didn't come, rematch! there's should be a rematch for this one. Hoping for a rematch, like Ruiz and Joshua II, it should be entertaining and we'll see if he can regain himself and belts. But yeah, can't get over how it all goes down. Kudos to Usyk, well deserved I guess.

will usyk's camp be amenable with re-match? or will they look for another opponent like fury? we haven't seen AJ's lucky punch here. i believe a lot betted on joshua here. the odds are great if you happen to bet on usyk. at least, we watched a good fight here and not a boring one. let us see what joshua's camp have to say after this fight...

I think you are right. Joshua cannot outbox someone like Usyk, that was proven tonight. He can knock him out though if he catches him with a right hand but Usyk is a good fighter and will try to avoid getting hit with the right preferring to get hit by the jab instead.

The manner of the defeat will be hard for Joshua to take too and he was just about hanging in at the final bell. If Usyk had not run out of energy at the bell he would have knocked Joshua out because he was sitting on the ropes dazed with his defences down.

Joshua will invoke the re-match but it will not be easy to win. Well done to Usyk, congratulations to him. What a performance.

Joshua will no doubt invoke the re-match clause but he got beaten by the better fighter and Joshua will probably be beaten again because Usyk is the better fighter. Joshua cannot box against technical boxers and win. Ruiz and Usyk proved that.

I worry this could a career ending defining defeat and milestone for Joshua as far as boxing is concerned whether there is are-match or not.

Yes, the problem is not that Joshua lost, but how he lost - Usyk surpassed him in everything in every round. Even for me it was unexpected, although from the very beginning I said that these are about two equal boxers and bookmakers are mistaken when they give such skewed odds for this fight.
Joshua's only hope was (and will be in the rematch if it takes place) a lucky punch.

I have one football match left to win, so I have very high hopes for Tottenham's game tomorrow!

If this happens it will be the biggest odds I have ever won. Well, of course, I congratulate everyone who, like me, bet on Usyk's victory.

What a fantastic fight. Usyk was too fast and skillful for AJ. Joshua started to have some success after he was landing some body shots but Usyk closed out the championship rounds very well and it looked like he was close to getting a knockout several times.

This is very bad for Joshua and the British community being beaten in front of the hometown crowd, Joshua is having a problem dealing with Usyk, he has a lot of good footwork and boobing landing big punches on Joshua, so there will be no more all British of the undisputed heavyweight Champion, Joshua losses his chance only Fury has a chance if he beats Wilder.
I wonder what's Fury going to say now, Joshua must reflect on his future, there could be a rematch but I hope Usyk will go for the winner of the Fury - Wilder match.

This is very unexpected and everyone was caught by surprised Oleksandr Usyk def. Anthony Joshua (c) (117-112, 116-112, 115-113)

Damn, the battle of Britain has been officially ruined  Sad.

What a masterful display by Usyk in this fight.

Losses this one, could have been a big win if I bet the opposite.

It has gone to 12 rounds and for me without a doubt the winner is Usyk. Wow what a fight and what a fighter.... Joshua has surely lost his belts and titles.

Usyk has to be the first undisputed cruiserweight to make the jump to heavyweight make an impact since Evander Holyfield.

WOW !!

The new IBF, WBO, WBA is Oleksandr Usyk

Anthony Joshua (c) (117-112, 116-112, 115-113) it was a very good performance by Usyk he really put a good show on this match I was waiting for Joshua for one big punch that could put Usyk in trouble but it never happens, I guess Fury now has a claim to as the best heavyweight of this generation.

Still, the fact that Joshua is 8 kg heavier so far gives an advantage not to him but to Usyk - he looks clearly faster and, one might say, terrorizes Joshua. I don’t know how long he will have enough strength and I don’t know if Joshua will be able to withstand the blow if Usyk can break through Joshua's defense. A very interesting fight.

AJ has to be quicker on his feet to win this fight, Usyk is looking very swift and light on his feet, his footwork is superb. Is AJ too slow, or is he is probably waiting for Usyk to tire out, because it might be difficult to sustain this tempo he has started with. If he really can, and AJ doesn't step up, he will definitely win this.

^ Lol, his trying to beat Fury as the boxing's well dressed during a press conference, face-off. In any case, I don't think it will work on Joshua, he will well experience to be affected by this kind of psychological war in his fight.

So let's see how the fight goes, I'm seeing Joshua winning by TKO in 10 rounds or less. I'm not expecting the fight to go full distance.

I'm also confident in my prediction that Joshua will win this match he is so motivated to win this match for Fury, I read in one article that badly needs to fight Fury for his legacy and it can only happen if he beats Usyk, by knock out so he can leave a deep impression on Fury who is going against Wilder. May the best fighter wins.
I don't know why almost everybody is supporting Joshua to win which might be the opposite. Although I don't like to gamble about this kind of game cos winning this kind of bet might be luck so I tend to stay out of it. lets see what happens at the end of the match maybe Joshua can really win the match but I doubt it based on the crowd supporting him. I don't always go win the crowd, I make my move different.

lol ... This photo made my day! [His cute French mustache makes me laugh too] Literally in a few hours someone's expectations will be shattered, and I hope that I will not be among the disappointed ones, since I have a lot of multi-bets based on this fight! I also hope that we will not see the early end of the battle, although I am starting to worry a little about Usyk and how he will cover the weight difference since I disagree with the statement above. And of course, for those who will watch the fight today, do not forget to keep an eye on Usyk's left hand, because Joshua has already lost to left-handed boxers.

Funny photo! I mean, not the costume, but the expressions on Usyk's face, he looks scared and as if thinking "oh damn he is next to me"  Grin In fact, it is clear that this is just a bad shot, by the way, Joshua's expression is also not very optimistic.
At the weigh-in, Joshua turned out to be 8 kg heavier than Usyk, I wonder if this will give him an advantage in the power of blows or Usyk an advantage in speed?
The costume is really strange and may be he came out to as a theme to the joker but what surprised me is that there are huge bets placed on Oleksandr Usyk and the odds are 2.7 right now and i have seen millions being placed on him to win the fight and hence i am a bit confused what to make of these bets and whether we will see Oleksandr Usyk winning after all.

In boxing having a weight advantage does not mean anything, if it is in MMA then if the fight goes down to the ground then the heavier fighter will be an advantage but it boxing it does not matter.

I hope Joshua gets this done with a knockout in the 1st round to prevent us fans panicking about a upset and then we never get to watch the Fury vs Joshua fight which I think is the most exciting fight for the last decade. I hope Fury does not not too there is too much anxiety waiting for both of the fights and I will be very nervous today when watching. It will be a huge loss to the boxing community if one of them loses and we never get the fight we have been waiting for years.
While I would like to see Joshua win the fight at the same time I would like to see a good fight, a KO on the first round while exciting is not my definition of a good fight, after all if Usyk made the move to the heavyweight division is because he is convinced he can compete with them.

Now I understand the power of a heavyweight is in a class on its own but if he can endure those first rounds and adapt to that punching power then we could see a good fight, but anyway speculation is now unnecessary as the fight is just a few hours away.
Usyk has already felt the power of heavy weights because he fought Chisora who is one of the heavyweights which leaves everything in the ring and looks to knock you out from minute 1. Usyk will know how to stay safe but Joshua is different because he can box and he has that knockout power which could put Usyk out. I think a 1st round KO has a good chance of happening but I would like to see this go the distance to see how Joshua copes with a boxer that punches with high volume.
Are you basing your prediction on who had tasted the power before looking at that could happen in the ring. Don't always predict based on some of these factors cause boxing might give you a different results from what you think could happen. I don't have any supporter for now, just expecting the results which I know that the contrary might happens.
