Bump / I confess my past express bets in which Usyk's victory was included were not crowned with success, but I do not lose hope!

There are only two football matches and Usyk's victory to win the bet with a 2000-fold coefficient. [Feel free to share your multi bets] Roll Eyes

Wow, cool! But how was the 2k coefficient obtained? Probably some kind of bonus was taken into account? According to the coefficients that I see on the screen, the total odds should be 1759. Have you thought about taking away what you won right now? X71 which you have now is already a very good result.

Overall the smart thinking is that Joshua will win but it will not be comfortable because Usyk will never get another chance at the heavyweight title again. I expect Joshua to win within 8 rounds.

I can't wait for this fight. Many will agree with me that Anthony is the favorite here. I watched more by the fight of Alexander and i like him more and also Alexander is from my country so it is not surprising that i'ill root for him.
I hope Alexander will show a good fight and if he doesn't make mistakes he'll be able to win.
true, I think the fight between joshua and Oleksandr Usyk will be quite fierce, because both are boxers who have a pretty good record so far in their careers, and of course the fight will be a pretty meaningful fight for joshua in defending his unbeaten title, but as you said Oleksandr is also a boxer who is ready to surprise every opponent, moreover Usyk is an Olympic gold medal winner and the undisputed former world cruiserweight champion, I think the fight will run fairly balanced later.

It would have been a good move for the sport of boxing and for fans around the world to have seen a unification fight between Fury and Joshua but that did not happen, it will happen one day but the painful part is both boxers are almost past their peak as far as physicality is concerned so when it finally happens it might not be a good spectacle.

Joshua wanted the fight so badly he believes that his legacy will not be completed without the name of Joshua among the fighters he beat

Anthony Joshua has explained that he needs to fight Tyson Fury to prove just how good he is....."Do I need Tyson Fury on my record? I need it," he said on the BBC 5 Live Boxing podcast. "We need it for boxing. It's what we all need, I need it. Come on, let's see how good I am.

I agree with his last sentence we all need this and hopefully, it will happen and it can only happen if they beat their respective opponents, I want them to beat their respective opponents because after winning their respective bout, their only option is to fight and there should never be an excused.

Such a great mental concentration on the "next" fight can play a cruel joke on them and they may well lose these "preliminary" battles. I would look with great interest what odds the bookmakers would give that this unification fight will take place. In principle, this can be calculated as an express bet of two events - Fury's victory + Joshua's victory. If I understand correctly, it turns out that the probability of this event is less than 50%.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Thanks for bumping this thread, I had completely forgotten about this fight, Joshua is the favorite here and I would like for him to win so we can finally see Joshua and Fury going at each other, but Usyk is no going to be an easy opponent as he is the first undisputed cruiserweight champion and he is undefeated, so this has without a doubt the makings of a great fight, I just hope the fight itself lives up to the hype.

This is a very underrated fight I seldom see it in my social media feed I'm subscribed on many sports pages, people are more excited about the Wilder - Fury fight than this fight both Usyk and Joshua are not trash talkers too, there's little hype on this fight it will become a piece of big news only if Usyk beat Joshua the heavyweight boxing world will have a major shakeup if that happens.
I really think that maybe something is wrong with the promotion because I'm really interested in the fight but even I have forgotten when it was going to take place, the Wilder - Fury fight is without a doubt more exciting from the point of view of the boxing fans but is obvious to me that Fury is going to win the fight, there is too little time for Wilder to improve significantly his boxing abilities so I really think that we are going to see a repetition of the second fight, however when it comes to this fight we do not really know what is going to happen, it's obvious that Joshua is the favorite but Usyk is no pushover so it is going to be an exciting fight.

In the other fight, I think Fury will definitely beat Wilder again...

Having said that it seems likely at some stage in 2022 Fury vs Joshua will be taking place for the richest boxing fight in history  Shocked

The boxing world was deprived of probably the greatest match of the decade and the British people badly wants this fight to push through, this has the making of the greatest match in the history of British boxing, they both have the legit champions of the heavyweight divisions if not only for that court order.
I don't want to think the unthinkable but what if both Fury and Wilder lose the fight, there will be a disruption in the heavyweight division, I hope both Fury and Joshua put up their best so they can push the unification of the heavyweight division.

Personally, I do not think that Usyk will definitely win this match, after all, Joshua has more chances, but in my opinion, Joshua's chances are overestimated, these are about two equal boxers, but the odds for Usyk's victory are more than 3.

I can not disagree your post. Both of them are Olympic champions. Both have great amateur and pro careers. Their only difference is weight class and reach. That is it. There is no big difference between them, none of them is an underdog. The one who will be more prepared on September 25 will win. That is it.

Joshua is a better fighter than Usyk but I think he will be overlooking this fight and concentrating for Fury which I think the same that happened to him against Ruiz will happen again. He will prolly land a couple of big punches but Usyk has a great chin. Then I see Usyk catching him with one punch and rocking him badly and he cannot recover. Usyk to win by round 6. I am hoping that Joshua wins because I want to watch him against Fury but I think that Usyk will surprise people when fight night happens. Joshua does not have a good chin and he has shown that he looks past opponents in the past Usyk will be fighting like his life depends on it and if Joshua does not come in with the same mind set he will lose.

If you are confident in your prediction, you can make a lot of money - bookmakers estimate the odds of Usik winning up to round 6 with odds ranging from 50 to 40  Wink

I know that Joshua is the heavy favorite here and so was when he fought Ruiz a late replacement and we all know what happen to that fight Joshua always show confidence when he fought, but when he is fighting a tough guy who keeps coming in and engages toe to toe his weakness is exposed, he is the type of guy that will easily give up, his fight with Ruiz shows that he do not have a big fighting heart, fighters will fight to the death if Usyk can engage and show toughness, Joshua is in for a big surprise.

Maybe because it was the first time that we have seen Joshua in trouble and he really don't know how to react and maybe he was really hurt as we can see his face was full of blood, specially blood coming from his nose that makes anyone breath hard during a fight. In any case, if Usyk can apply the same pressure, he might have a punchers chance and derail any plans for the biggest fight in heavyweight, either  Fury or Wilder.

Joshua: 19
Usyk: 10
Draw: 1

Though Joshua is clear favourite to win the fight, the voters in the poll here think it will not be a walkover. I think Usyk will fight as though his life depends on it and will try his best to KO rather than try for a points win. IF he manages to pull off a shock victory he will fight the winner of Fury vs Wilder III for the richest fight in heavyweight boxing history so that is his motivation but I think Usyk will fall short and Joshua will win but it will not be an easy win and good warm up for Joshua for his next fight.

I would not attach much importance to that defeat by Ruiz. This happens in heavy weight regularly and with almost every boxer - you can win the whole fight, but one luckypunch and you can't get out of the knockout. Usyk is not a prominent puncher, so Joshua was lucky here, but of course this does not mean that the fight will be easy for him, after all Usyk is still not defeated and he will fight to the end.

At least he's interested in fighting and claims he could box Dillian Whyte by the end of the year. Hopefully that happens as I'd like to see him more active. I'm hoping Ngannou gets a fight in MMA soon and ends up in boxing because I'd like to see him against people like Fury, AJ and Wilder etc. Not much left for him in the UFC I don't think unless Jones is willing to fight him but he's not going to get the money he's asking for.
Even i would like to see Tyson Fury become more active, if not for the corona infection we would have seen the trilogy fight earlier and i am not sure what improvements Wilder  made this time but i have a feeling that since Tyson Fury is coming back from the infection he might not be that crisp like the second fight and Wilder can always catch anyone if the opponent is a bit slow.

Francis Ngannou after becoming the champion there is a fallout between Dana White and even if he wants to box i do not think Dana White will allow him to do another sport unless he retires or finish off their contract with the UFC.

This fight will be the most exciting one in the heavyweight division of boxing since many months and i have a really hard time to pick a favorite here. Anthony Joshua is a really great athlete that looks like a greek god and he can knockout everyone with his left hook but he kind of lost his nimbus of invincibility in his fight against Andy Ruiz and he already was close to being defeated in the fight against Wladimir Klitschko before. Therefore i think that this will be a very dangerous fight for Joshua and that Usyk has a good chance to defeat him. Joshua is still the favorite for the bookmakers so i think a bet on Usyk could be very profitable.
