Tapales deserves a big fight, and I hope he will get the opportunity to fight the winner of this fight, especially if the champion goes directly into a unification fight. The bantamweight division has been very competitive since Inoue left, and it's exciting to see that we don't know who will win the fights between champions. If Inoue were still in this division, it would be easy to predict the winner since he is a very dominant boxer.
Tapales isn't in the same division like both Moloney and Astrolabio, Tapales is super bantamweight division while both of Moloney and Astrolabio are in bantamweight division. The only one big fight for Tapales is the winner of either Inoue or Fulton, I think there's will be no politic in this fight because Inoue is really like a new challenge and Fulton seems not to be have a strict organizer.

Yes, that's right! Tapales will have his big fight after winning the belt, if either Fulton or Inoue whoever will win from their upcoming fight will proceed and will try to unify the belts then it will be a big money fight for Tapales, he's the one who are in a good position right now he just needed to keep enhancing his skills as knowing the capability of both Fulton and Inoue both are really competitive and strong fighters who can face anyone.

Not sure that sure though if Inoue will walk along that path because knowing Bob Arum, he wanted to take some time first to make Inoue more accustomed to the weight class and make some more money fight before unifying the belts with Tapales. Maybe 1-2 fights before that will happen and for Fulton, he already said that he will leave the division regardless of the outcome, so we can't really hold him to unify the belts. But we never know, he might change his mind again.

I like that idea, maybe Arum will take more money  before he push Inoue to unify the belts just in case he will win, he maybe hype Inoue against Casimero, a long awaited fight that did not materialize way back at 118 lbs, maybe it's a good timing for Casimero to make his way to take that chance fighting against the monster.

Though both fighters need to win their upcoming fights before it can happen.

And that's what Arum is known for, milk his cash cow first, in this case it's Inoue. So possible, maybe after he won this fight against Fulton, he will not go up in weight very fast, a couple fights here in the super bantamweight is not that bad after all.

He can unify it again just like what he has done before as bantamweight, make money and then go up at 126 lbs. Specially if the champion at 126 lbs will be under Top Rank, it's going to be an easy set up for Arum and win win situation again as money will go down to him and his promotional company. So that is not bad idea for Inoue.

So far, there's nothing that changed about Canelo's response on who's next ever since his loss to Bivol. Bivol has already accepted the challenge of fighting for the undisputed belts at 168 but Canelo is stubborn and wants the rematch at 175 for Bivol's WBA belt. Bivol will put him to school once again but I am hoping for the champion to be more aggressive and try hurting Canelo because these corrupt judges will always try to change the outcome when the superstar is losing.
No doubt, I mean look at his recent performance against John Ryder, that is surely not the Canelo we've known and facing Bivol right away will just add another embarrassment to his career and a loss as well. If he will pursue Bivol then it's clear that it's a redemption fight for Canelo but it's funny because he is not willing to risk his belts at 168 and still choose 175 where they first fought.
I guess there's only one thing to find that out and it's to fight Dmitry Bivol for Canelo's much wanted rematch, but just like what you said mate, Canelo's chances fell down after the surgery and we saw how he perform recently. So it's not that he can make some difference this time but it will be a money fight for him as everywhere Canelo will go, money will follow.

As of now, Canelo and his camp are hand picking his next opponent that he will likely fight this coming September. As per article that I've read earlier, they have 5 options and two of that is Benavidez and Bivol.

Correct.
I was looking for the big main event this Saturday and I found none and here it is in the Main Card which I missed. I will definitely support our fellow Filipino boxer here. I want to see if another champion will be added to the list before the Donaire fight. He may be an underdog but so do Marlon Tapales when he fought Murodjon Akhmadaliev and won in a split decision.
@2.04 for Astrolabi and @1.76 for Moloney. It's not that much of a difference and I think he has a good chance to get the WBO bantamweight title.

Yup! Even though Vincent Astrolabio is an underdog in this fight he certainly has some experience to keep it in his favor and together and get the fight, Vincent Astrolabio also can surprise everyone with a big win or a big comeback most Filipino boxers doing right now this fight will be on Sunday morning or Saturday night for us, in the Philippines I think, which is pretty much a great time to set up a good bet but I would think of it 1st because I will be betting for the UFC aswell because UFC fights maybe are the same day as the Alimkhanuly vs. Butler fight, and will check my budget 1st,

I'm in with Canelo vs Benavidez right, Canelo should go with David and proved everything wrong that he is past his prime. Benadivez Sr, says that Canelo looks terrible against John Ryder and people in Mexico expecting him to score a knockout and that Mexicans are disappointed with the Canelo performance. So for sure Canelo and his camp read this comment from Sr., so let's see if they will choose a young fighter or rematch Bivol.

Canelo Alvarez might have had a terrible performance but at least he won the fight yeah there is much negative feedback regarding the fight that Canelo should have scored a knockout instead of a decision win at least that is what most of his fans wants as a result of the fight but surely Canelo Alvarez can not give it, this is a sure picked fight but Canelo Alvarez is having a hard time with Ryder,

A boxer's life is always on the line.

4 days ago, a young boxer Kenneth Egano from General Santos City, Philippines won a fight against Jason Facularin in Imus, Cavite Philippines. Upon winning, he didn't even have the energy to be on the referee's side to raise his hands or even heard the announcer that he won the fight because he was already in the corner collapsed, and being tended by his team.
He was rushed to the hospital and was in a coma for 4 days before he died today. 22 years old. So young and has so much future ahead of him.

Manny Pacquiao covered all the expenses for his recovery but there was nothing they could do to save him. Another sad day for Philippine boxing.
This is a reminder that we cannot just underestimate what the boxers are risking when they step on the ring.

It was a sad thing to happen it was another tragic death in the world of boxing surely that headshot can surely cause a concussion if the head was punched several times maybe on the back of the head of Kenneth Egano it was really a great fight to watch but the boxer isn't really aware that he already has damage in his brain, you can see that the fight was finished and Kenneth Egano has a happy face withstanding the fight but It was his last smile, then he collapsed all of a sudden watching the fight I have noticed that Jason Facularin has some shots that were near on the back of Egano's head and I really don't know if this is the cause of Egano's Collapse, but this is the real danger of boxing, a sports that we thing is more safer than MMA,

I very much agree on your statement mate, perhaps Ryan Garcia could be more lethal and dangerous in the upper division rather than forcing his own weight to fit in 135. But before all of that, he should try and improve his fighting style first because even if he can survive a few fights against the lower ranks, he will still find himself in the very same position where he can't really touch the champions because he lacks something. It's time for him to move-on and learn the lesson that was taught to him, and equip it to be a better boxer in his new journey.

If he didn't lose that last fight he wouldn't think to get to the upper weight class because he was feeling comfortable there with his speed but when he fought Davis, he realized that his past opponents were just a joke. now that he realized he needed to get up there, he should also train as much as he can to get back his honor and gain some momentum to bounce back again. He is such a charismatic boxer unlike anybody else and he can sell his fights easily, he just needs to give some more, especially in his defensive strategies.

I'd say even if he win that one, that will be his last fight at 135 because his weight was already a problem to him in that division. In-fact, he already had two fights prior his fight versus Gervonta Davis and I believe that the sole reason why Ryan Garcia came back in lightweight was to settle their rivalry with each other that has been going on for years now.

But again, if not because of his defeat versus Tank, he will not be learning his lesson that his movement and defense is not that good enough in-front of the experts in the division. Actually, he already had the same scenario where Luke Campbell exposed him but he let his head to grow bigger because despite that fact, he won the fight.

I agree with that point he thinks that he can easily take what Davis will throw him, he try to fight that solid hit in his ribs but Tanks solid punch is far different from those fighters that Garcia's face before, he didn't manage to absorb and survive and we see the outcome of the fight a big lesson to learn as he needed to grow and adjust to improve his fighting skills.

That just shows that Tank Davis is on a different league compared to Ryan Garcia because Tank as a champion doesn't lose his discipline and he even keeps on reaching milestones to improve his performance inside the ring while Ryan here is not making any improvement because he's just too reliant on the power that his left hand contains. And look what happened to him, even Tank Davis's body punch is powerful enough to make Ryan Garcia kneel and prevented him to recover again. How much more if he had received another clean punch in the temple more than what he received in the 2nd round, he might be sleeping on the canvass if that happened.

That is why it is said that talent must be nurtured through training, it is useless to have a powerful left, if you do not worry about perfecting everything, your technique, your strategy and trust yourself, I think that what matters here is trust, we In this sport we know very well that you must train all the time, so as not to lose shape, agility or strength. In boxing, as in any sport, you must always work hard as long as your body can resist it and without injuring yourself. I think that this It is the premise of a high performance athlete, usually these things give good results.

...So now we look for either another Mexican in David Benavidez or a rematch with Dmitri Bivol.
I observed that most people online are demanding a Canelo vs Benavidez fight. This fight would be huge although all fights for Canelo are big even if its opponents are not from the top. As for Canelo's earlier quote about not fighting another Mexican, well I guess Benavidez has no Mexican citizenship and is born in the US so maybe this fight will happen.
Yes, I agree. A fight between Canelo and Benavidez will attract more people rather than a fight versus Bivol for the rematch, people already know the likelihood of the outcome and besides, after watching Canelo's fight recently in his tune-up, he's not that explosive anymore that is why it's better for him to give the chance towards the kid rather than face an inevitable loss from Bivol.

So far, there's nothing that changed about Canelo's response on who's next ever since his loss to Bivol. Well, for the record, Canelo wants the more difficult fight which is Bivol rather than Benavidez. I don't know if it is really due to his pride or if he knows that win or lose, there's still Benavidez waiting for him at 168. Unless the WBC will strip Canelo of his belt since Benavidez is mandatory which is actually long overdue. And Canelo's rematch clause with Bivol might be enough reason for the WBC to wait. The WBC will lick Canelo's balls anyways just to get that sanctioning fee percentage from his huge purse.

Personally, I also prefer Canelo vs Benavidez because it is something new. Bivol is just too technical and smart for Canelo and it will be the same outcome, a one-sided victory. At least Benavidez is defensively flawed but he carries a huge KO percentage that can hurt Canelo if he gets hit.

So far, there's nothing that changed about Canelo's response on who's next ever since his loss to Bivol. He will be in a lose-lose situation at a 168 lbs fight with Bivol. He knows his critics will say that he weight drain Bivol and then him fighting at his comfortable weight. Canelo knows this that's why he insists at 175 lbs. So that he can capture that belt again and cemented his greatness.

Fair enough. And losing to Bivol at 168 means he will no longer become a champion. And since all the belts will be held by Bivol, it will be very difficult for Canelo to fight for a belt to hype his PPV fights.

Yes, I read about that event, and it's really sad to hear someone died inside the ring and at a very young age of 22 years. We didn't see the full potential of this boxer, but it's an accident that no one saw coming, this is not his first fight.

But it's good that the legendary boxer, Manny Pacquiao who is the even organizer did everything he can here. And it's true, every time they step in the right, half of their feet is already 6th feet under and that's why there are boxers like Floyd who played defense and doesn't like to be hit or boxers asking big money because they know that it could be their last one.

Sad true! Each time a fighter step inside the ring, he is risking his own life just to fulfil his dream and to entertain those people/fans who
believes that he can win the fight and he can pursue his career.

It's something that this young fighter wanted to be achieved, but his fate has already been dictated after that win, he's no longer can fight, but the memory
of a such young fighter trying to make his way into this sport is something will always be remembered.

If they don't want to fight, they should just vacate it because there's a lot more boxers in every single division who are willing to touch and hold those belts and willing to fight for it. These champions surely know the feeling what it is like when they were the ones who are waiting for their turn but unfortunately, when it's their turn already, they've become addicted to it and they aren't willing to let go even if they aren't making any new fights.
Easy to say though but it's actually not that easy to do because there are a lot of factors that they should consider first before taking a step and aside from the current boxing champions, their promoters, network affiliations and even the organizers are not willing to let go of them because they knew that they could amass a lot of money from making their fights even if it is just a single fight per year. Having a new champion is risky for their business because it's not everyday you can make a champion who can attract a lot of people's attention.

As for Moloney vs Astrolabio match, even though Moloney is a challenger, but he has a good chance to win in this fight.
Both boxers are viewed as the challenger since the WBO belt was recently vacated by the former undisputed Naoya Inoue and that means that the belt is vacant now, therefore, neither Astralabio nor Moloney is defending it.

Jason Moloney preferred the WBO belt because he got more chances of winning and getting the vacant belt rather than competing against Nonito Donaire for the vacant WBC belt where his chances are not that strong. But still, this Vincent Astrolabio is not a push over either and I'm currently leaning on him to upset the current favorite.

Correct, the WBO belt is vacant due to Inoue going up in weight. And since Moloney and Astrolabio are the #1 and #2 rated boxers in their division, it's just right that they are going to fight for the belt now. But I do agree that this fight might be better than the main event because this two boxers are well know as compare to Janibek Alimkhanuly VS Steven Butler, although it is also for the WBO middleweight belt.

So it will be a question whether we will see another upset and another Filipino being crowned as world champion. And this is fight week so for sure everyone here is going to watch this fight.

I like that comment, after Tapales who knows another pinoy fighter will bring another belt and glory back to our country. It's been a while when both Pacquiao and Donaire, together with those well-known boxers, dominated these sports, though the winning chance is not that high as knowing Maloney's capabilities, he might dominate this fight.

But for sure, Astrolabio will not be there for nothing. He will also try everything to steal this win from Maloney.

For now, we are just going to wait if what are the strategy is from both Maloney and Astrolabio and how they will going to execute to win.

Boxing should be like this more often, champions of the respective division should vacate the belt already if they don't have any other things to do and they should try and push themselves to the limit to know their real capabilities up until there's a boxer who is willing to fight them, like the interim title holders. Instead, other boxers in different divisions are taking the belts as their hostage which deprived the other boxer's right to have a challenge for that belt.

Hopefully, this kind of tradition will change. I know it's a business but it is an entertainment industry as well, they ought to give the people what they deserve because it is the people who made them rich and famous in the first place.

Yeah, but still we wanted to see a good knockout coming from the hometown record, but Ryder has a tough chin and big heart so we should show him respect for that one. But then again, there could be arguments that Canelo might be affected of his hand injury as he might not throwing it 100% as he just wanted to test his hands.

So now we look for either another Mexican in David Benavidez or a rematch with Dmitri Bivol.
Very tough and I think Ryder can win other fights if only he learns to jab more because his toughness will be his key to winning against other guys won't have the same strong chin as him and if he could take advantage of them by hitting them more in a close range then he can win in UD or better, KO's if he lands most of those jabs.

But the Main Card Jason Moloney against Vincent Astrolabio I also think is the main event, and if Vincent Astrolabio wins this he will be the WBO World Bantamweight champion, this title is vacant right now and he may take it home to the Philippines if he wins against Moloney surely it is going to be another belt for the country,
Correct.

@2.04 for Astrolabi and @1.76 for Moloney. It's not that much of a difference and I think he has a good chance to get the WBO bantamweight title.

Due to his nice performance surprising his opponent to win the title in his last fight, he truly deserves a real contender this time so that he will be well prepared and gonna consider training harder than before because he is now starting to make some noise in their current weight division. And if he can show a great performance that will gonna shock the boxing world in his next fight, he will instantly gain huge numbers of fans that will gonna make him an instant celebrity in boxing. This is his chance and only a few names have reached this stage so far, he better not slack off and waste this chance to create his legacy in boxing.
