I hope he quick recovery back and goes to the exhibition fight as the planing. I heard Tyson Fury was also interested to meet him but the problem is the age between them is too far. if happens, seems like an unfair fight, and Mike possibly lost in 1st round. Many observers say he doesn't need to continue fighting and is better to continue to explore as a Hollywood actor.

Even though he didn't suffer an injury, I don't think that Mike Tyson is still fit to fight even in an exhibition match.

People should now accept the fact that they can't see the legend now doing some actual fight.

He's now part of the boxing history and just let him rest for good away from the gloves.

The commission or organizations of boxing will just have a few words of condolences and a portion of financial help then that's it. Not everyone has to stop what they do because someone has gone through a tragic way of death. It's not just a few but many already and yet, the sport keeps on moving and any athlete that has chosen this path understands that this is the risk that they will take and the consequence that might occur could be tragic for them and for their family.

but i believe his sciatica, a nerve condition is a dangerous one if this one kicks in while inside the ring and the opponent doesn't know he's already experiencing it. so for me, even exhibition fights, tyson should already let go. better enjoy his remaining years without not much problem in terms of health. that sciatica condition was the reason why he was seen using a wheelchair and a walking stick. but if he doesn't have this condition, i can say, he can easily beat Jake Paul even with the age gap.

Unfortunately, this legacy fight is cancelled because Eubank jr has been tested positive for a ban substance. And so the BBBoC has to issue and order stopping the fight. Although Matchroom and Eddie Hearn thinks that they will go and continue to his fight as unsanctioned, they just decided to postponed it for now.

I share the same opinion, he suddenly said that he won't be fighting anymore in such fighter in the same caliber when the fans are hyping for a second dance between the two of them. Before that hype, there was even a rumor that Mayweather and McGregor is working for a second bout, but when it comes to Pacquiao his tone suddenly changed. Well, that action he made was more than enough reason to believe that he is still afraid of Pacquiao until this day.

That might do but that won't guarantee safety, researchers are still digging what to do to reduce the chances of these incidents. There are some overhauls in the industry way back 1980 and established a 10-round fight but as years goes by, it was again back to a 12-round fight.

He cannot hide that fact that he is already old even if he's still fight in exhibitions, he will have the ring rust effect if he will choose to deal with the likes of Pacquiao nowadays, a May-Pac fight is profitable but knowing Mayweather, he doesn't want to get embarrassed from being defeated.

In my opinion, you greatly underestimate Mayweather, if the fight goes purely according to boxing rules, then McGregor has no chance of winning. Mike Tyson is 56 but the latest workout videos are terrifying if you think he'll fight you. Floyd is 45 years old, yes, he is 9 years older than McGregor, but McGregor was never even close to Floyd's level. I think he will easily win this fight (and if he wants to, he will knock out McGegor).

Then why announce that he would not fight real boxers anymore if even Professional boxers like Pacquaio he can surely beat, well, I really think it is to his age, he is not immortal, and he can surely feel that he is now depleting, having ring rust for some that know of it, his age is really catching up to him and he can really tell that his retirement is one thing or another to be enjoyed by him that is why he has done fighting dangerous that could get his fun to a halt,


We can say that every death in boxing is very tragic, but can we just say something like that without having to do something about it, let's put ourselves in the shoes of their families and relatives surely you would be hurt if a loved one would die from boxing right, Is it just like that we just move on because someone passed away from boxing, do we just settle with remorse from the commission of boxing and be done with it, or we just wait for boxing to be banned because those deaths are getting higher and higher,

As time goes, the physical condition of Mayweather is no longer on its same level. If McGregor land a solid punch on him, he might
endanger his life, though the chance of winning is still high for Mayweather.

But we never know when an accident will take place, and basing on that last statement where he doesn't want to fight a real fighter
it's more on the security side.

Just play for the money and take advantage of the fan base youtubers. It's still money that he can collect, so why not, right?

It was an unlucky moment for him. No one thought that he'll be ending his career and life like that because his family thinks that he's got the potential to be something big in the future.
But that's no longer a thing anymore because he's not with us anymore and there's no way to stop these sudden unintended deaths by those blows whether it's from sparring or actual pro/amateur fight.

Of course, Floyd Mayweather will always win because even professional boxers didn't have that chance to defeat him, what more for this YouTuber superstars like Deji. Mayweather is just taking advantage of their fan bases to hype and market the fight. But McGregor is another story, Floyd's chance gradually decreases if it's against him, I'm not sure if this will materialize as he already said that he's not interested to fight real players.

As long as they are Youtuber's MMA fighters Floyd Mayweather will surely fight, them, for me Deji is no match against Floyd Mayweather but Conor McGregor has a fighting chance because he is a fighter and he also fought Mayweather inside the ring, so he has experience in fighting him, but a huge likely that Floyd Mayweather will surely fight both these fighters,


It was tragic because it can not be prevented if it is an arms or leg injury it is not fatal, but most of them are fatal would to the Brain maybe it was Intracranial Bleeding to the head that cause this boxer to pass away, and sometimes become comatose for MMA most injuries was on the arms, and legs and not fatal but for Boxing for the head to sustain that severe continues blow could surely cause internal bleeding,

That Professional boxer was Axiel Van Dignos an 18 years old, and I surely heard of that news, but because I thought that he was just an amateur I haven't added him to the list of boxers, but in hearing this news again, I was shocked that he is really a professional and only 18 years old, and his death will be just because of a sparring match, and it was an Intracranial Bleeding and due to repeated blows to the head, I am quoting this word because I assumed this is the cause of all the deaths in boxing, and no one can tell if this would likely occur to all boxers or just an unlucky few,

I saw this fight. In the undercard of Sebastian Fundora. Maidana was there too to support his countryman. Martinez is very strong and is very aggressive of a boxer. Ancajas was no match, bleeding, gassed-out and he was beaten to the punch by the stronger and much elusive boxer.

I was looking forward to Adames and Montiel. Thought it was a banger but Adames finished it early in the third round. Main card was pretty clear to me that Fondura will win but didn't thought it would go the distance. Looking forward to that kid to face Charlo.

 

Accidents happen and I believe if the person is bound to that destiny (death) at that age, he will die no matter what the cause is.  If the person did not die in that fight, he will probably die by other means.  We also see some deaths in other sports which should be unlikely to happen but it happens.  Like for example in a football game, you can see the list of death here[1] while they are playing. Even death on track and field happens.[2]

Those were tragic, well, all of the deaths while having a fight are tragic. It's too sad that they have to go too soon and it's going to be a match. I guess you've also heard this news about a young boxer in our country that suddenly died after a sparring match.

Combat sport that can takeaway lives, but there's no force that happened here fighters do have free-will even they knew that the sport they are is very risky they choose to continue fighting whatever happen they wanted to have a good career and the money that they can take is huge.

They've learned thing from the experienced of those successful legends and they wanted to follow that path even it possibly takes their own life.

It looks like Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are indeed talking behind the scenes to make the rematch into a reality because it was already reported that the two is nearing to close the deal and it says that the fight will be contested at 155 pounds, currently, the two are just finishing some details including the terms.

If that will happen, their rematch will likely happen somewhere in the 1st quarter of 2023 because Floyd Mayweather have 1 more exhibition fight this year versus Deji (another YouTube star) at the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai.

We could say that this is a two rematch because they are planning two fights across two sports.
