I'm surprised to see this Josh Taylor is a good and a versatile boxer but Crawford is just too much for him, the one fight Crawford should go for and fans want to see is the Spence fight, this is a mega fight and a legacy fight, there's even a possibility that they can do a trilogy, both fighters are very even in speed, power and ring generalship, Josh Taylor will be an underdog if the fight with Crawford push through.
Spence will fight Ugas, and Crawford will fight Taylor. If both of them will win then they might set up this big unification fight and everyone will be excited about that. So who do you think is the favorite if a Spence vs Crawford fight will eventually happen in the future?
The Taylor vs Crawford fight is not final, Taylor will have to fight another boxer this year if I'm not mistaken.
So the focus of boxing fans is on the Spence vs Ugas fight and then maybe the winner goes after Crawford for unification. However, I've read that people of Spence has qualms about putting the fight because they said that Crawford is not a PPV fighter. I don't know where that comes from from Crawford is a star on his own right.
Speaking of Ugas vs Spence, I'm not a big fan of fights, actually I don't know how people still think that fights can be considered a sport, but every now and then I see boxing and MMA and other fights, I only see them out of curiosity, these days I've seen video of this Ugas vs Spence, it wasn't a fight between the two, it was just a summary of the fights that the two had against other opponents, your post reminded me of this video because the guy who made the video just posted more videos of Ugas fights to try convincing that Ugas is better than Spence, this shows that there is a great interest in this fight between the two, at least on the fan side Is what I perceive. but just watching the summary of the videos I'm convinced that maybe Ugas will win this fight, as I realized this guy Spence had an eye injury 1 year ago, this could be a disadvantage for him
