I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
These things are quite normal now especially if you're a famous athlete or a celebrity who have a fat pocket. In Casimero's case, he should be more cautious about these things so that he won't face this situation again.

Seriously? The alleged victim said in the blotter that she was just hoping and trying to take a picture with Casimero. But 4 hours after she arrived, how did she ends up on Casimero's room where the alleged incident happened?

There's someone who is behind all of these issues and they are trying to get revenge to Casimero.

I agree with you, this thing/incident is pretty normal to celebrities nowadays because they alleged victim only want to extort money from them.

This case is similar to Kobe Bryant's case but it did not prosper if i'm correct.

Just hoping that Casimero's training will not be affected by this case.
There is a possibility that this is the case, after all it seems that lately everything is going wrong for Casimero, now this could be because as you state there is someone behind all of this trying to destroy his reputation, but it could also be that he is just that difficult to deal with, anyway I hope that this does not delay the fight even further and we get to see him fight above the ring, which is what he does best and it is the reason people follow him and admire him.

Yes, unfortunately, such situations happen very often.

It is easier to convict a man on a charge of rape than a girl on charges of deliberately slandering a man.

I don't know what happened between Casimero and that girl in the hotel.  It is natural for a man to touch a girl's breasts if he likes her and wants to have sex with her.  Casimero is a healthy person.  He is an athlete with a powerful libido.

However, he is not a rapist.  In my opinion, he is aggressive in the ring, not in dealing with girls.  I think he is innocent.  Although I have little information about this situation.

I hope that the situation will be resolved safely for Casimero.

Oh no, unfortunately another issue rises against Casimero and this time we didn't know who's the one who are telling the truth. Whatever it is, I just do hope that this issue would not going to affect his upcoming fight against Butler and hopefully he'd still able to win this fight to cover up this issue. I might think that this will be a distraction issue to him or might say an accidental problem but whatever happen Casimero still needed to face Butler to defend his title.

We will never know now because if there's a lawsuit, it will be settled in court. What we are doing is just we are just speculating which is not good as we are supposed to speculate on the fight. This new controversy, only proved that Casimero's attitude inside the ring is similar outside the ring.

That would be an another angle that they need to look into because this incident is really staged and planned considering that Casimero is all well known now, how much more after this fight.

Really? Didn't know about that either. Well, yeah as I said, it's pretty common these days. Back into the topic, Casimero's case won't go far and  I know that Casimero's lawsuit will find some loophole to dismiss the case. I mean, just look at the blotter report, it's quite clear that this just an extortion.

^^ It's too early to say what will happen to Casimero, but yeah for sure he will have this in mind and could be a nuisance for him specially if media from the Philippines are going to interview him because for sure his subject will be brought up. He is not guilty yet so let justice go on its proper course. Maybe the girl is telling the truth or not, its only the judge that can decide base on evidence and facts presented.

The process will take time, the fight will be finished first in most instances, this accused will be processed.

Knowing the justice system it will take time, it might affect him inside, but the focus on his boxing skills i doubt Casimero
will allow it to disturb him.

It's just an accused till the process takes place, when the judge order if there's ground about this case, though even there's
valid accusation Casimero's camp can still challenge it and another proceeding will take place.

I agree that it might take some time, and knowing how justice system is in the Philippines it could go on for months or even years.

But the question is how this allegations will have an effect on him. He has an upcoming fight and he needs to focus on it. And how can he do that if at the back of his mind, he is thinking about this case back in the Philippines and for sure he is also worry of his family and his kids as this could get out of hand.

Certainly this would take time because aside from the fact that we have a slow system, there are also plenty of other cases queued in every court so I doubt this will be dismissed sooner.
Well, if indeed Casimero is not guilty about this then he shouldn't be affected nor disturbed in any way especially now that his fight schedule is right around the corner. Casimero's team or MP Promotions will handle the case and surely they will give their best not to affect Casimero's career because Casimero is also their business.

Casimero is a good boxer, though we all know him as a trash talker and this case is really possible to happen considering his attitude most probably they have a strong evidence against Casimero, better to act faster now.
Bring the legal problem to the court, it's hard to speculate it here. Before I remember Pacman also have some lawsuit but the fight still happen, so it's hard to speculate because the court will do a due process if they decided to sue him.

Well, both fighters have antecedents, which does not exempt them from being able to have special treatment, the truth is I do not know how the laws will work in these cases and they may make an exception because in this problem the hand of the WBO can be seen involved there In order to avoid any bad spectacle in front of the law, perhaps on this occasion some type of special amendment can be made based on some law where some fights can be executed so as not to breach previous contracts, and thus avoid greater evils. It's a shame that Casimero is going through this.

I have nothing to say about how long the process will take, my point is that the judge should be fair.

In the Philippines, it will take forever, especially if the accused has enough money to fight for the case. However, this is not good for him if there's enough evidence to convince him, it's better to settle it the soonest so the problem will not get worst and will not distract his training.

Hopefully, it will not reach the point that Casimero will have more distractions and that will result in losing his fight. This mandatory fight is a must-win by him, if he messed up, then that will not result in a good future, plus, he might spend his money on the pending cases he has to face.

Casimero is an entertaining fighter, I hope he'll continue to focus on his big dreams in boxing.

He is, no doubt about that, that's why I don't look at his personal problem but just his performance in the ring. He has a problem now, that's given, but hopefully, that will not be a hindrance for him to successfully defend his belt, he really needs that win because that is his ticket to a big fight against Inoue.

Not sure how the justice system rolls in the Philippines. But as I have said, it should be based on facts.

Hopefully, Casimero will not allow this negative news to disturb him. But we really don't know how some individual deal with his allegations. I mean this is sexual in nature, so definitely your family will also be affected by it negatively.

He should get a focus on his training and preparation until the match comes. If it's already dismissed, he doesn't have to think of it. It's true that whenever a person, an athlete is already on his fame and riches. There would be allegations that would try to pull him down.
It's like a modus to suck money to stop creating ruckus because it affects his career. Although there are professional athletes that have been said involved on this type of allegation but coming to the top as an athlete with a known name, they will take care of their names and avoid such involvement.
An easy way to make some decent money, a case filled that can be arranged with an amount that both parties will agree.

In anyhow, Casimero's camp will try to settle this issue and make sure that it won't affect his career, but aside from the file case itself, local and

social medias will also be another thing for Casimero, he needs to bring good fight to cover this issue and hypes to his name instead of this

case that being talked by people around. Wink

Yes, as I have said previously, there could be really someone from behind wanting to get revenge and destroy the reputation of Casimero prior to the fight with Butler.

So it's really up to Casimero now, on how to handle this case professionally. He will really need a lot of help from the Philippines to settle this one and only hope that he will still be focus on his fight with Butler.

Casimero Accused of Acts Of Lasciviousness In Philippines; Team Dismisses Claims As "Fabricated"

Quote
An official complaint was filed on February 11 against the three-division and reigning WBO bantamweight titlist from Ormoc City, Philippines, who is accused of Acts of Lasciviousness and of being in violation of Republic Act 7610—Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act. The complaint and pending investigation alleged that Casimero made inappropriate contact with a minor last June in Taguig City.

Violation of RA 7610 is punishable by imprisonment of no less than three months but no more than three years. Similarly, a suspect found guilty of Act of Lasciviousness is punishable by imprisonment of six months to six years.

https://www.boxingscene.com/casimero-accused-acts-lasciviousness-philippines-team-dismisses-claims-fabricated--164303

So another distraction for Casimero, will give him the benefit of the doubt. Makes me wonder why it was just filed this month? Or maybe some entity is behind to destroy John Riel emotionally and financially? Your guess is as good as mine.

Oh, really? I didn't know about this.

IMO, this was planned and staged perfectly by the alleged victim because she really knows when and the fact that Casimero is on his way for the fight. The Casimero camp has no choice but to settle this because if this goes worse then Casimero would be heavily affected as well as his career. If I am right, it is all about money because the alleged victim was in the hotel room with Casimero and then filed a blotter later on. We will see soon about this, Casimero should focus first about this fight before anything else and let his team handle the lawsuit.

He is already a celebrity so he has to be careful with his actions. This accusation if proven, he has no choice but to settle it financially, otherwise, he will go to jail which would certainly end his boxing career.
