Yeah, they already have a date in mind for this fight should this pushes through but a fight won't be made official unless there is already a signed contract but it's been more than a week already but people organizing this fight are mum, maybe you are right that they will wait for the court hearing or the result of it before declaring Tank Davis vs Garcia a go since preparations will be rendered useless when Davis will be jailed.

I never heard as well if there is a rematch with that fight or who insists that there should be none in the first place.


There have been dates and Oscar confirmed it already right? But we still have to wait because there is a court hearing for Tank next month. Maybe that's why they remain silence, (this could have been in the contract as well). So once this is done and they know that the fight has no stumbling block, then maybe both sides will go into the public again thru their social media about the contracts and rematch clause, if there is.

Just like Floyd Mayweather Jr. himself, all about making money and not for making legacy.

This fight is three years in the making but for one reason to another it never happen, but now that the two fighters show eagerness
that they want to clash this year, and both promoters agreed to make this fight happen, it could not happen if Gervonta did not get out of Mayweather's promotion, because Mayweather clearly stated that they want all his fighters to fight in the house or under the same promotion, so they can protect his cash cow and make money.
Everything on Mayweather promotions are all about making money not for legacy.

Seems nobody from both camps did reveal and share some information regarding their contract if there's indeed a clause written on it, but anyway, I'm sure both camps will always cater the fan's needs especially if the outcome of the fight is somewhat controversial and a rematch is the only way to settle their rivalry. Just love to see these two dancing in the ring and showing their prowess rather than being defensive most of the time because they are both knockout artist.

Well, we all know that boxers always use jargon to give more show to the show, it is normal, however it could be that some statements may turn out to be susceptible to everything a boxer can say, obviously I have not seen a boxer who praises to another opponent, or with whom he is going to fight, that would be something that I would like to see, because if a boxer talks about himself it is like praising or boasting, and yes, that falls badly, because it is best for others to glorify him and not themselves, because I don't see any point in it, however boxing and everything that has to do with this business model is always like that.



Well, I don't deny it, people must be in great demand for this fight, Tank Davis is a boxer who has every advantage, I have seen that many are leaning towards him to bet, honestly it seems something spectacular to me because at the same time all These affirmations that he himself sees, García knows that many are counting, at least in betting it can be noticed, if a boxer sees this trend, how would he feel?

I think that by noticing that there is a great tendency in favor of a particular boxer, the other will look for a way to reverse this, but how? with much stronger training, preparation is the only way you can make a difference come fight time.

Ticket sales on this fight is guaranteed as they are champions and both are popular. We don't see big fight like this all the time, that's why fans are surely willing to spend money just to watch this fight whether in the venue or through PPV. They can continue throwing words against each other now as it will continue increase the value of this fight and that would help to sold out the tickets and PPV subscription.

The last part of your statement is true, it's part of his job whether he meant something about that words or it might only for
the hypes of Garcia's upcoming fight.

He create a noise and it's now being discuss, whether it is a negative publicity there are still fans and readers who will give time
to read and analyze the authenticity of this issue.

Brining eyes to Garcia, only means of fans interest and it can be converted to a much better outcome, a ticket sales.

For me it seems to be personal though, the attack, although Davis has replied to this if I'm not mistaken and he just said that he [Bradley] is just jealous on what he has accomplished so far in his young career.

And for the record he was a fan of Davis before and even says that he is for Davis if this fight with Ryan is going to be made.

But he completely made a 360 degree turn and so be it, Bradley though is known for opening his mouth because is a boxing "analyst" after all, it's his job to create hype.

He said nothing is personal, but it's maybe personal though. However, we cannot blame him, he has the freedom to choose and state his opinion, besides, Ryan Garcia is a champion, and a great boxer, so it's just nice to know that there is influential personality in boxing who is siding in him.

I think otherwise though, a rematch should be happen if the fight is too close and it did go the judges scorecard and then the decision is controversial,  the champion lost the fight. In this case, neither has no belt on the line. It's just pure hype between the two boxers at this point.

Maybe there is a clause, but it should satisfy at least the first scenario in my opinion. If not, then the rematch will not going to happen.

The animosity though, hehehe, Bradley is full of hatred, maybe it steam on the case against Davis on hitting a women.

On these types of bouts, there usually is a rematch clause on their contracts because of how anticipated and how big this fight may be. Two relatively known fighters with clean records and a solid history between them, one fighter would surely not want to be bested by another, hence a rematch is extremely possible no matter the outcome of the fight. Of course, there is always the strategy to 'seal the deal' and avoid rematch from the winning camp, but that would surely be throwing away money and no one really wants to do that.

That goes to show that this bout will be a close fight which is really not surprising that there will be many audience that will watch this fight around the world. Both boxers have their own huge fan bases that supports them in every fight, even me is interested to see the fight as well to see how this fight would turn out but I won't deny that I'm more inclined for Tank Davis.

Yes, even if there's a rematch clause, promoters and organizers will still depend on the outcome of the first bout but this time, it will be more complex. And considering that they are both a knockout artist, there might be a rematch that will be pursued by the losing camp even if the outcome was a KO or TKO as long as it was a close fight.

Well, truth is, all we can do here is to speculate only and we can't really say who will come out as the winner because even if Tank Davis got a bit of upper hand because of his IQ inside the ring, we cannot also discount the fact and forget that they are both a KO specialist. So, in the end, it'll be the one who will give the most vicious punch at a timed phase but it won't be easy as most of them will get defensive most of the time due to the fact.

It could be that Ryan is very confident in his skills. It's one thing to say things in public but actually doing it in the ring can solidify what he is saying.

They both have the power and thier fights don't always end in the 12th round but if it does and no one drops dead, you can bet your bottom $ that this rivalry will end in a series of matches.

ABSOLUTELY mate tank Davis use his intelligence to think the right think as as we all know how a big opportunity will come with him. Cause if he continues on Mayweather hands, even though he can have good fight but not just big as we all know how may weather handle his fighter. Once again a good choice for tank cause besides he can earn a big profit but also he can make noise in the world of boxing once his promotions will be go up.

Ryan Garcia is a social media addict and says anything he wants to say but i think him saying that he would KO Davis is just part of selling this fight but i also do think that he could KO Davis if the latter would be careless like what he did to in his fight with Hector Garcia where he was hit with a lot of power shots, just lucky for him that Hector doesn't hit hard like Ryan does.

BTW, this fight if pushes through will be on April 15 not May so better if OP could change the title of this thread.
