That means bookies are just underestimating Campa making him a huge underdog. I think Campa will give Lopez a real challenge, so an upset is also possible here. Lopez sometimes losses his focus, what if that will happen again in this fight? Are we going to see another L of Lopez here?

We will only know they are underestimating if Campa will win, but for now, it's very obvious that most fans believe that Lopez will beat Campa. Bookies does not make their own odds based on nothing, it's always based on what majority of bettors or fans think about the outcome of a certain fight.

Odds are just showing the probability in a fight, Lopez is a heavy favorite, then that means he will likely win but it's not guaranteed. Also, on seeing the odds, that depends on the bettors, some think a fighter is underrated but for the other bettor it's not, so it's based on our personal judgment only.

Not an assurance at all, maybe he got the edge but boxing is a kind of sport which have many surprises, a lucky combination can take down a heavy favorite fighter, just like how things ended with Alvarez against Bivol lots of fans support Alvarez but it was Bivol who works well and protect his belt.

Though it's still different from how both Lopez and Campa will fight and we never know how they will throw their punches once they are already inside the ring, just looking to see good counter over another counter punches.

Yes that's right.  If you look at the odds, it is logical to conclude that Pedro Campa is underrated as a boxer.

In my opinion, the probability of his victory over Lopez is higher than the bookmakers think.  In general, betting on outsiders (betting on an unlikely event, the so-called Black Swan) is a very good strategy.  Very often it allows you to get a good profit.

Lopez is younger and has a reputation for being a better and more decorated boxer.  However, Pedra Campa is also a good boxer.

Jack London has a great short story "The Mexican".  It just describes how a stubborn Mexican boxer (an outsider in a boxing fight) defeats a titled and experienced American boxer.

In any case, the upcoming battle will be very interesting!

No surprised with the odds for Lopez, it seems that sport bookies has totally put him in front with that huge odds. Again, this is just an early list, so it's better to look for other options.

And most likely Lopez will win in this fight, just a matter on how, knock out or stoppage perhaps? We shall see. And for sure, fans or not, we will to see Lopez after his defeat with Kambosos and see if he still has the fire inside and can make a comeback in this division.

Both Teofimo Lopez and Pedro Campa are great boxers.  It will be a very interesting and spectacular fight!

Pedro Campa is one of the best Mexican boxers.  No wonder he is nicknamed "Relentless Rock".  Teofimo Lopez is a younger and more technical boxer.  His nickname in the boxing ring is "The Takeover".  Teofimo Lopez is famous for his knockouts.  His punches are almost impossible to parry (he is a very fast boxer).

In my opinion, he will win the upcoming fight by technical knockout.

I'm sorry tough but I have to disagree about Campa being one of the best Mexican boxers as you have describe him. Kindly look at his resume and come back here and tell us who he has beaten to be even in the discussion with the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Leo Sta Cruz or even Oscar Valdez.

Almost all of his fights are all in Mexico, which mean he is not that exposed to American fans, and can't be called a great Mexican boxer. He doesn't even have a belt.

I agree with you that Pedro Campa is known primarily in Mexico (victories over Mexican boxers).

Pedro Campa is a very good boxer....  Out of 36 fights, he lost only one fight (by technical knockout). In that fight, Carlos Jimenez showed himself to be a stronger opponent.

I agree with you that Pedro Campa lacks high-profile titles, but he is a very strong and technical boxer.

He is not used to losing in the ring and is always focused on winning in a fight.  He is incredibly focused and tenacious.

I do not even rule out his victory in the upcoming battle.... In a sense, this will become a sensation and further strengthen the authority of this boxer.

It's no justice for Campa, but he is unknown and just not on Lopez level so crypto bookies might have this in mind that's why they put Campa as a huge underdog against hard hitting Lopez. So we will see if they got it right or Campa has something in his mind and derail Lopez entry into the 140 lbs.

But as you have said, better wait for other betting listing, for sure there will be some juicy odds that we can find for Lopez, unlike the ML which is we don't like.
Yes, and it's  a Lopez a must win for him to come back and bring noise to his name, if he lose to this fight it might be the end of his career, bookies might have seen that advantage and following your sentiment, Lopez is a known warrior his name is really big before losing with Kambosos though we have witness underdog winning the fight we never know what can happen during this fight.

Maybe Campa got something to disappoint and put down Lopez. ML might be interesting for the high-risk bettors.

Odds bookmakers prefer López by a significant margin, but if you look at the predictions before the fight with López vs George Kambosos Jr odds were also in his favor and were about the same, but López lost in that fight, and went to a knockdown already in the first round.

If you'd ask me, it is a bit early to make a bet on this fight as I'm certain there will be some changes soon, usually I'd like to place mine days or few hours before the fight schedule. But yes, we will surely see how will Lopez finish Campa and see if there's some changes on his style or some improvement. I just hope that he got some two or more lessons from his recent defeat against Kambosos that will make him much stronger.

If in any case this fight will move in the opposite direction, I don't know what to say anymore about Lopez. I mean, Campa is also a decent boxer but Teo have the capabilities needed to defeat Campa.

Of course, if he didn't train that hard Campa might pull upset again on Teo Lopez and he doesn't want that to happen.

If that will happen then that might be the end of his journey in the new division that he tries to be a champion. He need this fight, though it looks like a tune-up fight but he cannot be too complacent here as Campa is definitely not an easy opponent.

Of course, there's no reason for him to continue if he cannot beat Campa who is a heavy underdog. He is targeting to challenge the champion Josh Taylor, therefore his first attempt in this higher weight division has to be successful.

True and that's why they targeted a not well-known fighter in Campa. But still good for Lopez, we can see how good he will be in this division if he chooses to stay and fighting champion like Josh Taylor, a complete fighter that's why he was the unified champion.

As per odds right now: Lopez at 1.02 favorite, Campa, 9.80. So that says it all, Lopez is expected to win this fight easy.

So Teo Lopez is back, after the humiliating lost against George Kambosos, he is making his comeback, but this time he has move up in weight. He will be fighting a dangerous and experience boxer in Campa next month.
Teofimo lost that fight because he was fighting like crazy, but the Teofimo who fought with Loma and previous rivals, would have clearly beaten Kambosos. Another reason was his health challenge. According to reports, he had air around his heart that made it difficult for him to breathe properly. The doctors confirmed it. López will make history again in the 140. Canpa doesn't even stand a chance.

That is still debatable as the fight hasn't happened yet, Pedro Campa is a bit underrated but he is not an easy opponent that Teo could take lightly as Campa can give the latter an additional defeat in his professional career if he will be complacent about this tune-up after defeated by Kambosos.
Teo has a huge chance and he got to improve more if he's looking to fight heavy names in the industry soon, he should try and finish this fight with a blowout win as this fight could give him the hype and recovery he needs.

Lopez is definitely aware of that because a loss in this fight will determine his career as it will give it a negative hype, people will criticize him if he will lost in a supposed tune-up fight and people won't also celebrate if he wins by a decision because this is just a tune-up fight for him, what he should do is to dominate Campa throughout the fight and it will be much better if he can go for a KO.
If Lopez will be weaker, Campa will take that as an advantage to add Lopez to his record.

He needs this one if he wanted to move forward. This is just a preview of his possible run in this new division, he need to show more aggressions to attract more fans and promoters. It's another journey for him but he should not less the capabilities of Campa, the guy is also a good fighter that can beat him if he will make a mistake during the fight.

Lopez needs this win to make his way to another level in his career, losing this one will slim his chance to hypes his name up.

Quite worthy of each other rivals, I hope Teofimo will not lose his speed by moving to a heavier weight category and will be able to perform a dance and do his flip after a successful fight, the most important thing is not to forget that Campa is also dangerous at close range.
I more concern about the power though, Teofimo at 135 lbs is known to be a puncher, not a fast boxer. But as he moves to a heavier weight, we will see if he can bring that power to 140 lbs.

Yes, Campa might be dangerous, but I think Lopez will win here. Probably it will be by knock out, if if Campa is really tough he might gave Lopez all he can handle but still squeaking a tight unanimous decision from the judges.

Yes, he is still a dangerous fighter that's why Lopez has to work hard to win here. Tampa had only 1 loss in his career (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/578516), but has not fought a boxer like Teofimo Lopez, so this is a good match up and I like to see a KO here.

Lopez really has to work his stamina out though we all know that he's too consistent during his previous fights.
Tampa is aggressive and seems to be ready for every match. I guess this is a perfect match and this fight will be another remarkable match this year. I still put my hope for Lopez though.
Of course, if he didn't train that hard Campa might pull upset again on Teo Lopez and he doesn't want that to happen. So he knows that a lot is at stake at this match and we could say that if Lopez losses this one, if might be hard for him to come back and bring they hype that once he has. So he needs to win this one and I believed he can pull it off and bring his name to the attention of this weight class.

Its going to be embarrassing for Teo. Rumor has it that her went up to run away Loma rematch and then suddenly just getting beaten by an unknown Campa. He should have been facing tougher opponents like Catterall or Sandor Martin but because he went up he was given a chance at least Campa.
