Great mindset for him, one loss should not dictate his future, we have great boxers who are not undefeated so he still has a chance to prove himself. Anyway, I'm looking forward that Teo will be able to regain what he loss in his previous fight and that is by winning via KO.

Defeats break the weak people, but temper the strong. There are very few invincibles, everyone can lose, but a true champion will continue on his way. Lopez's positive attitude towards this fight is understandable, he looks like a clear favorite and this should give him more confidence if he wins. In this fight, he will be able to win, but the most difficult path is still ahead, this is just the beginning.

He just have to endure his situation now because he came from an unexpected result where he received his first defeat in his professional career, he just have to live with for the moment while he still making progress to be a champion again but this time in a different division. I'm rooting that he will defeat Campa by a way of KO/TKO because that way his career will gather enough hype to fight other big names in the same division.

I guess great boxers will have to endure that kind of situation in their careers, sooner or later will will be beaten, although it's great to have a 0 loss record, but in most cases, boxers that suffer a lost comeback very strong because of that 1 defeat.

The odds though doesn't change, Campa is still almost 9:1 underdog, just thinking it will not hurt if we throw some money on the underdog?

Yes, there are so many exceptional fighters who became much wiser and stronger after tasting a defeat. Having a defeat in your record is not really a sore in the eyes and won't mean that your career is finished because you can still come back and be better. As for Teo's case, he just have to endure for some days now because the day is near where he can redeem his glory, he just have to be focused 100% this time though.

That means bookies are just underestimating Campa making him a huge underdog. I think Campa will give Lopez a real challenge, so an upset is also possible here. Lopez sometimes losses his focus, what if that will happen again in this fight? Are we going to see another L of Lopez here?

We will only know they are underestimating if Campa will win, but for now, it's very obvious that most fans believe that Lopez will beat Campa. Bookies does not make their own odds based on nothing, it's always based on what majority of bettors or fans think about the outcome of a certain fight.

Odds are just showing the probability in a fight, Lopez is a heavy favorite, then that means he will likely win but it's not guaranteed. Also, on seeing the odds, that depends on the bettors, some think a fighter is underrated but for the other bettor it's not, so it's based on our personal judgment only.

Not an assurance at all, maybe he got the edge but boxing is a kind of sport which have many surprises, a lucky combination can take down a heavy favorite fighter, just like how things ended with Alvarez against Bivol lots of fans support Alvarez but it was Bivol who works well and protect his belt.

Though it's still different from how both Lopez and Campa will fight and we never know how they will throw their punches once they are already inside the ring, just looking to see good counter over another counter punches.

I think in the same way that you killed, if we take into account that this may be the last opportunity that López has to vindicate himself, it is something that he has to do at all costs, and achieve it, he is risking his life and I think that he also It could be the pass to the path of success if he wins, Campa undoubtedly knows that all this pressure that Lopez has is not anything and he wants to be the executioner of his career, maybe he can make history and be remembered as the one who catapulted López and it didn't give him another chance in the world of boxing, it's not something to be taken lightly, this fight is really going to be very exciting.

It's up to you, $2-$5 is still make sense.

Honestly I don't think Campa might pull an upset because he only fought an amateur boxers and this fight is the first for Campa on US as he only fought on his home e.g. Mexico. If the crowd will make him insecure and can't show all of his performance, he will be in trouble to face Lopez. Lopez is a skillful boxer and he's already cherry pick his opponent, he must win this fight.

That's why we can never trust with big money on him, maybe ma max of $10 would be enough for me, but I'm still thinking if I will go with that experiment though. Honestly, whether at what angle I will look, I don't see a reason Campa will be winning this fight.

Winding down.

And that is exactly what I want to see in their upcoming fight, I want to see a blow by blow punches and Campa welcoming and giving a hard time to the newcomer, Teo Lopez, in his own division because that way we can see Lopez's improvement and changes after his first defeat. Well, we shall see this fight a week from now and I hope that the bookies will list Lopez as an underdog (so that the odds will be at least tasty) because he is a newcomer in the division of Campa and because the latter has more experience than Lopez.

I read articles about Teofimo Lopez's statement on his fight against P. Campa, and he was very confident that he will beat Campa and be able to get the title in his current division.  I think this would be a test for Lopez if he can withstand the heavy punches of his new Division. I also don't think it will be a walk in the park for Lopez.  Honestly, I wanted to see Lopez getting KO'ed in this fight since he already thinks that Campa will be his stepping stone in the division.

Well, to be honest, Teo has more chance to survive and win the fight against the much veteran Campa. Though that is not for sure but I can say that by judging their recent fights where Campa will likely have a hard time because Teo has more speed than him and likely the power is much different compared to him too. But Teo's ego will backfire on him if he thinks that this will be like a walk in the park, he should take things seriously though.

This fight will determine Teofimo Lopez's career and if he is truly a promising boxing star because defeating Pedro Campa on his 1st debut in this division will mean that he will be eligible to fight in champions in super lightweight division and of course to gather enough hype that was lost recently against Kambosos Jr.

I'm already excited in this fight and I'm rooting that Teo has learned from his mistakes and made some changes to increase his chances in winning in this division.

After deciding to jump up with his division, it will be nice to see him winning and make a good run for his career, That loss from Kambosos gives him a lesson that he needed to keep improving, that inside this sport everything is possible, a single mistake in calculating your opponent will end you peak, It's his chance now to be back in the center stage, if he manage to succeed in beating Campa interest will be there for him and challenging good names from this new division is very possible.

Lots of people and promoters will ride on him and bring to a money fight that most fighter wants to happen with their respective careers.

I'm looking forward that he shouldn't have any hard time as well defeating Pedro Campa but he shouldn't slack too because there is always upset and that could hit him again this time, he cannot afford to have a back-to-back defeat because that will really leave a bad scar in his career that will prevent him in making success. It will be much better to defeat Campa by a KO/TKO just like what the users here are expected based on the poll, having a KO in his comeback and his first fight in this division will gather enough hype to have him fight another heavy name in the same division.

I think that the correct description, Lopez shouldn't slack in this fight. Of course, he will train in this fight. But he shouldn't be lazy and take for granted Campa as he has a decent power and footwork. And fighters like him, who wanted to break into the rankings usually just go out and box. So it's up to Lopez on how he will train, and what percentage he will give to this fight.

There's a saying goes "hardwork beats talent if talent doesn't works hard" and that will be Lopez's case if he will slack just because he thinks that he won't be sweating that much against Campa, he may have the talent and speed to defeat Campa but that will amount nothing if he will grow his ego instead of talent because the latter have more experiences in this industry than him. He could be surprised again if he doesn't take this seriously.

Based on this, it seems Lopez work out is better than Campa. All of Campa training is about how to punch just like common boxing exercise, while Lopez train his body, footwork, improving his agility and also improving his reflect. Lopez will have better experience and skills than just punching, it's very needed in modern boxing where you're not only relying about your punch power alone.

As far as we know now, it really seems that Teofimo Lopez won't have a hard time against Pedro Campa soon when the day of their fight arrives. What we are seeing is just mere pieces of training for the public to see but we all know that there's more than that behind the scenes where the real training happens. Either way, I expect more from Lopez this time and that we can see some changes to fit in this division.

Maybe yes if Campa will not comply with the challenge, I mean if he will stick with how he fought and with the same strategy where Lopez camps already reviewing, it might be much easy for Lopez to take him down, but, we know inside boxing there's always a chance of seeing upset with underdog, and also, it's Campa's division and Lopez is the one who's new to this weight so maybe there's still good opportunities for Campa to overcome Lopez.

the date of the bout will be next weekend. one sided odds to begin with and having just $20 to bet is not satisfying enough to bet for Teo to win.
Lopez, Teofimo 1.04
Campa, Pedro  8.80

I would rather bet that $20 to Campa. It is worth the risk $20 for bigger gain if Campa is to win.  Besides I don't think Campa is that underdog.  I have seen his record and it is quite impressive, and I think it is as impressive as Lopez.  I think there is a huge possibility of an upset win here since Campa has a knock-out punching power with 64% of his fight via KO.

Btw, it is
Lopez, Teofimo 1.04
Campa, Pedro  10.00
on stake.com.

Well, it's for promotional purposes. Most of them will only show basic routines. Although it also depends on confidence, I won't be surprised if Teofimo will not care which sessions are recorded and will go for public consumption even before the fight due to his arrogance. And Teofimo is also fighting a no-named opponent and he might have underestimated Campa here. But there's also the possibility that the sessions shown are meant to mislead the other camp.

Hehehe, it seems that he hasn't change a bit though, still arrogant and brandish, specially his Father. We will hear another excsuses if he losses this one.
I would really love to see Teofimo losing again, much better if by knockout. Cheesy That would silence the hype on him including his annoying dad.

If I'm going to pick a bet, i'd rather take a small bet on Campa.

The bad thing about cherry-picking or fighting a nobody is it affects the betting odds huge discrepancy. How I wish tune-ups like this are only shown as undercards on championship fights. This should be an undercard in Australia's Haney-Kambosos rematch.

Latest training video of Teofimo Lopez here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SBgKqED2TU

He seems to be bulking up really nicely at 140 lbs, and I reckon he can even go at high as 147 lbs or could be walking around that weight he is not fighting.

And here is Campa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqdecRus8fc

Gonna be intriguing fight, but it's hard not to root for Lopez here.

Campa looks good here but I don't think he'll have an edge against Lopez, Lopez happens to be the man that beat the man and he earn that title but its a very exciting fight to look forward to, Lopez needs to win this match to get into the title contention and erase people's impression on him after his loss against Kambosos, his loss against Kambosos is a big nightmare.

For sure Lopez has an edge, even I thinks that he can win this easy. But he should take this fight just like fighting Loma, very serious. He can open and talk trash as he wanted, but he needs to give us a good showing, produce something that we can say that he is really back and a solid contender in 140 lbs.

He was also a favorite to win in his last fight, for sure he was also confident but maybe too confident and forgot to play smart. I mean, he could have won that fight if he just played his strategy well, unfortunately, he was too eager to KO Kambosos, forgot about his defense but was surprised he lost.
Yes, the emotions really take the best out of him against Kambosos and he wasn't able to overcome that. There game play was thrown out because he was knock down early by George and even though he made a rally late and even score a knock down himself, it wasn't enough and everyone was surprised that he lost. At least he can gotten over that mental thingy, because he is now fighting in a new division. It's like a fresh start for him, but picking a unknown boxer. So we will witnessed if Lopez can still be a force to this weight class.

We are already looking forward to Teo's win after all it does appear like he is tough between the 2. He needs a comeback for the sake of having a better match after this one. I'm already expecting Kambosos vs Teo 2 if Kambosos loses against Canelo. Teo said he will be a two-weight world champion very soon in his latest interview.

Quote
“Every person goes through challenges. I am calling this fight the ‘Take Back’ because I am coming to regain what I’ve lost. One defeat does not define a fighter, and it won’t define me,” said Teofimo.
