Lol or you leverage altcoins to make more Bitcoin.
It works if you know what you are doing. Not everytime but it works.

And really that is what I do, I take profits in BTC and not USD/ other fiat currencies.

Never done this  Grin
Usually, I just convert some of my funds into BTC on a monthly basis.
And, of course - it takes a big place in my portfolio.
Better than to pick newer alts, always.

Yeah, it's basically gambling,  but I only use a small part of my money for that, the rest is in my Bitcoin hodl bag.

Although your way is probably the best way. I am just a bit more of a risk taker. After all, there is not a single alt that I would recommend over Bitcoin as a store of value or long term investment.

If you are comparing from the bottom of the bear market when Bitcoin was at $16k till the top of bull run next year, id have said Bitcoin.

But from today until peak of bull run next year, clearly top altcoins will see much bigger returns now compared to Bitcoin.
Isn't it more realistic for bitcoin to bottom out at $16K to $100K now? Do you ever think if bitcoin goes to $150K next year? I think it might happen while only a few altcoins can do it.

I know you must have some altcoins in your portfolio for next year hoping for big profits, there is nothing wrong with that some altcoins have peaked, but here bitcoin has a big advantage if it goes to $150K.

Bitcoin is a safe heaven, where you can invest in Bitcoin and keep it for long term. It can be a life-changing wealth for yourself and your families. So everyone must have some long term portfolio in bitcoin which they aren't going to sell. However, bitcoin is not over 100,000$ and let us suppose it goes to 200,000$ in this bull season. That would be a 1x gain.

Now if you invest in any good altcoins, it can easily give 3x-5x gain or even more if we have a proper altseason. This is the reason people who want to gain quick profits prefer to get the positions in altcoins and hope to get more short term profits.
There are users I see last time that are against with this. They say that BTC is not a safe haven because it dumps sometimes but that is only sometimes and at most times it still can recover and gain more than what it lost. This is why it is best to make it as a long-term investment than short. That is where we can earn a life-changing amount, especially if we also waited for a huge dip.

I think you are not updated in the price mate, for you to say that BTC is not over $100k, when in fact it went there already but maybe it only dipped by the time you checked its value, for you to say that. We are too far from $200k yet, so I'm afraid we won't get it in this bull season, as I also think we can end the season once we end this year. $100k is still a good achievement for BTC anyway and for others who join the ride early.

So it's wise to hold both, but BTC should be the main part of the portfolio if a person prefers stability in the long run.
Even if the profits are not as lucrative, they will be steady for sure.
That's one argument why there are investors don't want to invest into Bitcoin anymore. They think that the gains are goin to be lower compared to how they'll take risk with the altcoins. Yeah sure that the profits might not that be much compared to the altcoins that could skyrocket and pump a lot. But if it's about the stability, Bitcoin is king and nothing beats it to that. Go back to the past when people have said the same thing that profitability of Bitcoin is no longer convincing and it's already quite expensive for them to have and DCA it. Well, the same people will say the same thing time and time again without doing such actions. What matters is it's going to be profitable still and the profit relies on how much capital we have.

Yep. Time to grab them and await alt season if that's the plan. Surely.

Diversification will really be always best on which this is something which is really that our main priority and thats why whenever you do have that extra money that you could be able to invest on and does want
to have that chance on getting some bigger profits via investing into altcoins then you would definitely be considering out this option rather than on sticking up purely on Bitcoin investment on which even getting that
x2 of your investment will really be taking up some time. This is why to those who are investing that wants to have that at least some security of their money then they will definitely be sticking with Bitcoin but for those who do want out on having that opportunity on maximizing potential profits then this is something that will really be that considering on altcoins and others do even touch up on those meme coins or degens on which it is really that indeed risky but on the moment that you do hit up the right one then it could potentially make you rich but of course the odds or chances are really just that less.
So when it comes to crypto investment and in torn in between BTC and some altcoins then why not on choosing both? As much as possible we do really want not to miss any opportunities specially
now that we are heading into the bull run event with this current cycle.

I recently made some money through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, and I'm considering using it to purchase some Bitcoin. Only a tiny sum, roughly $800, is involved. What do you suggest doing right now? Purchase some Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency with a promising future.

What replacement coins would you recommend?

Altcoins definitely. Purchase Cardano.

I used to prefer bitcoin in the past days, actually it is always the healthiest to prefer BTC.
The rise of altcoins or which ones will rise feels like a kind of gamble during the bullish rise.
Right now, while btc is rising, all the liquidity is entering bitcoin.
Altcoins are being crushed under btc. I had invested a little in a few altcoins the other day, if I had invested in btc, I would have been more profitable in the short term and in the long term Smiley

BTC propels alts forward.

Currently Bitcoin is more popular in the market and it is the main cryptocurrency in the market.
Do we have ever a coin more popular than Bitcoin?
Sure, Bitcoin is always the king or the main of crypto coin.

In my opinion Bitcoin BTC is the best medium for long term investment.
What you mean by "best medium"?
Anyway, it is true that Bitcoin is the best asset for a long term holding.

But there are other more popular and promising cryptocurrencies in the market such as: ethereum, cardano, solana, polkadot.
I'm not sure if ETH, ADA, SOL, and DOT are more popular than BTC.
The most popular coin should be BTC. But recently, the most trending coin is meme coins.
I don't see a significant raise in the popularity of those coins you said above. SOL ever became trending coin this year, but it look like over already.

The question that will last for a long time 😅

------_________--------_________------

Imagine that you are asking about the loyalty here and that will determine depending of how much they trust their coin lol.

Bitcoin will always be the number one choice .

Altcoin will always be the secondary option .
Diversification is the right answer to that question, we don't have to be confused to choose because we can buy bitcoin and altcoin, this is more effective for investing in Crypto at this time, if compared, of course it is better Bitcoin but to maximize short -term profits, of course, the tools are interesting In the discussion.

However, Bitcoin is the best high this season as it has gone from lows to highs.  But Altcoins haven't grown in comparison, so in any current state you compare them to Bitcoin, they never will.  Because Bitcoin is at the peak but if you want to invest in Altcoin for extra income you can definitely do it.  Currently, Altcoins are pumping sometimes, so if you invest according to the opportunity, your investments will be more profitable, but the risk is also high.
The rise of bitcoin this year is very different from before, Bitcoin has been the best choice for a promising investment from its inception until now. We also need to know that Bitcoin and altcoins both have advantages in investment but are somewhat different, the price of Bitcoin is currently starting a high movement as well as Altcoins such as ETH which is at the top among all altcoins. The choice to invest in Altcoins does have a higher risk compared to Bitcoin.

One of the best ways to invest in Altcoins is to find the right one and be able to take the opportunity to make a decent profit. My advice is to use existing money with safer investments in crypto. Prices fluctuate actively. without us being able to control it at any time.

Yes of course Bitcoin and Altcoins never compare, that's why every investor prefers Bitcoin.  If you want to hold it for a long time, holding Bitcoin is likely to be the most profitable, but if you want to hold Altcoin with the same amount of money, you will be taking a lot of risk.  Because Altcoins can be wiped out from the market at any moment.
