However, Bitcoin is the best high this season as it has gone from lows to highs.  But Altcoins haven't grown in comparison, so in any current state you compare them to Bitcoin, they never will.  Because Bitcoin is at the peak but if you want to invest in Altcoin for extra income you can definitely do it.  Currently, Altcoins are pumping sometimes, so if you invest according to the opportunity, your investments will be more profitable, but the risk is also high.
The rise of bitcoin this year is very different from before, Bitcoin has been the best choice for a promising investment from its inception until now. We also need to know that Bitcoin and altcoins both have advantages in investment but are somewhat different, the price of Bitcoin is currently starting a high movement as well as Altcoins such as ETH which is at the top among all altcoins. The choice to invest in Altcoins does have a higher risk compared to Bitcoin.

One of the best ways to invest in Altcoins is to find the right one and be able to take the opportunity to make a decent profit. My advice is to use existing money with safer investments in crypto. Prices fluctuate actively. without us being able to control it at any time.

Bitcoin was the best coin in the past and still Bitcoin is the best coin. So Bitcoin is Bitcoin, Bitcoin is never compared to other coins. Because if a person invests in Bitcoin then of course it will be profitable after holding it for a long time, but I have seen altcoins once it goes down from the market it doesn't go up again. So there is such a difference between Bitcoin and other coins that is why I consider Bitcoin as the best coin which is suitable for all aspects of investment.
Bitcoin is always the best coin because it is like the main coin in crypto. So far, there is no other coins that can be comparable with Bitcoin. Even Ethereum, it is still incomparable with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is surely the best coin for crypto investment. However, we must remember that there is no guarantee for profits in Bitcoin investment. If you don't understand how to invest in Bitcoin properly, there is no way to be successful.

Most of altcoins that can't increase again, they are the altcoins with weak fundamentals. But for top altcoins, most of them can increase again quite a lot in the bullish season. That's why people very often recommend us to invest in top altcoins. It is okay to invest in top altcoins although our priority is still Bitcoin.

BTC or altcoins? why should we choose if we can take both, we know that BTC is an asset that will never disappoint as long as we keep it in the long run, it will be enough to make us feel much better when it comes to the time when BTC is adopted by all people, but we also have an interest in altcoin fluctuations that are tempting to seek profits there, such as Ethereum, Solana BNB, they have a pretty decent increase so far, it's just that altcoins should not be the main asset in the portfolio because the risk given is very large, maybe 10%-20% of your portfolio after bitcoin would be much wiser in investing in altcoins. IMO

There is usually no way to lose wealth when investing in Bitcoin, but those who invest in Altcoins have the greatest fear of losing wealth. Because the money you invest has a track record of being part of the altcoin market, but the probability of Bitcoin being destroyed is very low. That is why if an investor invests in bitcoins there is very little that always depends on the long-term holding results for the investor.

it still depends heavily on the average cost of the investment, but yeah, bitcoin don't have the history of suddenly losing 90% of its value like what most of altcoins do, even within this short period of early bullrun to middle stage of bullrun plenty of coin has been going down and lost 60-90% of its value and yes i'm talking about altcoin with massive VC unlocks that are being avoided by retailer investors such as TIA which has been going down 70%, can you imagine, investing in an alt just to lost 75% of its value within few months even though we are in bullrun?

altcoin is only for temporary profit making, the end game is always bitcoin, ride while the hype lasts and then when altcoin seems too overvalued just migrate over to bitcoin again, even better, just convert to stables and wait until BTC dips to get the best entry.

I will not deny that it happens to altcoins, because on average they do experience a very large decline and that is not something that should be considered in investing in altcoins, the increase only occurs for a moment, only when the narrative of the altcoin project itself becomes a conversation it will increase demand that is how altcoins work, I also agree that altcoins need to be utilized in the short term, not for the long term, all people who understand investing in bitcoin they also understand about altcoins, most of them choose to only allocate their money in altcoins only a small portion that they can lose, when they get exponential gains they sell it to increase the number of bitcoins.

Newbies need to hear a lot from the ones that did a lot of mistakes in the past and also to the one that have profited from holding BTC and are still holding in the present. Because hearing mistakes of the others will direct them to doing the right decisions of investing in the market and that's through holding BTC first. Everyone is free to hold any altcoin that they want but hoping that these guys won't commit the same mistake as I did in the past for selling too early.

I do think that newbies need just to find the right people to listen, apply what they will get from it and follow the lead, and if they are determined enough, everything will be fine for them.
While it is not a requirement but it will be helpful to them to listen to the past experiences of everyone so that they can avoid the mistakes that were done by these people. It's okay if they will not hear it from someone and they will have their own, there's really no problem at all with this kind of matter but I think if someone they have asked for are happily sharing his experiences about the market through holding both bitcoin and some altcoins.

That will be impactful to the newbie because that guy will understand what he must do so that he won't be ending up with the same mistake. It's actually not paid at all to listen to someone and don't get into people that are asking for payments for their words of wisdom. Actually, in the forum there are a lot of good people here, traders and investors that are happily giving tips to the newbies.

But, it is up to the newbies if they're going to give themselves the time to listen to it. They have nothing to lose upon listening and looking for the right people to give them tips but as you've said, it's not a requirement at all because even I, I didn't have any mentor but the community helped a lot with the tips that I've read in the past and so as my experiences.

Many newbies don't consider the power of BTC for what you described - you can rest assured knowing that your investment won't be in vain for the years to come.

You are right about it being a good choice to take, but more analysis is needed for a newbie to understand why it's good for him.
Always apply the DYOR that we're telling them and they'll be able to have a conclusion why holding BTC is for their good before jumping and diversifying into another altcoin.

I recently made some money through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, and I'm considering using it to purchase some Bitcoin. Only a tiny sum, roughly $800, is involved. What do you suggest doing right now? Purchase some Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency with a promising future.

What replacement coins would you recommend?
If you have 800 dollars and you want to invest that 800 dollars then I always recommend you to invest in the best coins in the market.  I will never advise you to invest in bad coins.  Especially I will suggest you to invest only in Bitcoin because Bitcoin investment is the best coin among all investments.  But you have to invest and hold, you can't rush, if you rush, you won't be able to get good returns from your investment.

I do agree that BTC would be the most stable investment, however, it doesn't end there - it's great to have both it and alts in your portfolio, something around 70 to 30 in terms of %, in my opinion.

If you are a first-time investor, you should definitely invest more in Bitcoin, because a new investor is more likely to make losses if he starts holding Altcoins directly. That's why you should approach investing by gaining experience on cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin. But Bitcoin has a very low chance of loss if he invests so it is best for a novice investor to invest in Bitcoin.

If you are planning to buy Bitcoin with your $800 then your plan is correct. But later if you earn more you can invest altcoin with that earnings. Bitcoin is the best investment coin. By investing in Bitcoin you can always be worry free. But always remember to stay away from buying shitcoin because shitcoin can die anytime.

It's a risk-reward ratio that changes our decision-making on different coins, you are totally right.
Making BTC a big part of your portfolio is a great start, but afterward - you are free to do whatever you want. You are in charge from the start, really, but accumulating some BTC will make you a pillow of safety for the time to come, sorta.

If you invest in Bitcoin and hold it for the long term, you are guaranteed to get a guaranteed profit.
But if you are holding only altcoin investment and not bitcoin investment then your profit may or may not be guaranteed.
So before investing in altcoins, you must do your due diligence and make your own investment decisions.

Quote from: Jose Mourinho
in my opinion bitcoin and altcoin can both provide profits in the future, and I think it's just a choice, bitcoin is a priority investment for every crypto user because bitcoin has great potential and is very promising, while altcoin is an option that can give you additional income.
BTC and altcoin are good investment, you can invest your money and you will not regret investing in such amount of money because you will gain something from the two coins, but if you want to make big profit, make BTC your choice because it will boost you profits. Just make BTC your real investment and make altcoin your alternative investment and you will live well with your investment because BTC and altcoin don't use to pump the same time.

You can sell your altcoins to solve some problems that will come your way, and continue to hodl your BTC if you are capable to invest in BTC and altcoin because the two investment are profitable.

Sounds reasonable. The bigger half of the portfolio for BTC, other - for alts. Efficient and simple.

My advice is to choose several altcoins that have a low value at the moment rather than buying bitcoin which is too expensive, several other altcoins that are promising substitutes for BTC are Ethereum and the other top 3 altcoins are very promising. Many are doubtful about what is recommended on altcoins that promise long-term investment but this time I also defend some of the top altcoins.

I would combine two parts of your suggestions into one portfolio: even with fewer funds in each of the coins, a diversified portfolio, for me, is better in the long run.
No matter how stable BTC is and how much potential some alts have, it's great to have both from two worlds Grin

But Bitcoin investing is much safer, since we invest with small amounts, investing small amounts in different places will give the best results.  But no matter where you invest, it's a must to have a Bitcoin investment, because investing in Bitcoin can't fail.  Success will come back to you and you can reap massive benefits, that's why I trust Bitcoin.

You are right, but not many out there can accumulate much BTC for such benefits, whereas with alts - you may have bigger chances. But we need to mention bigger risks, of course Grin Especially if we are talking about the new ones.
