if you think bitcoin is good, it's only natural to buy it. everyone must know that the best investment is bitcoin, which has minimal risk from unexpected things. If you have an altcoin view because it has been researched, there will be significant results from your research. According to the results of your research, there could be prices soaring, make purchases in stages so that the anticipated risk is minimal. if you are afraid to invest, it is better to use the money for something else
Yep, each person will approach and invest differently, depending on the market research, we can accept the risk or keep the investment safe.
For me, both BTC/altcoins have different opportunities and risks, but I prefer BTC to altcoins, and it is only when BTC really enters a bull cycle that I will convert between BTC to another altcoins that I believe will maximize profits. And that has been applied by me many times in this market.

I recently made some money through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, and I'm considering using it to purchase some Bitcoin. Only a tiny sum, roughly $800, is involved. What do you suggest doing right now? Purchase some Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency with a promising future.

What replacement coins would you recommend?
If an investor can afford to invest enough money, I think the most suitable one is to invest in Bitcoin. While Bitcoin demand is worldwide, investing in altcoins is risky. Because investing in altcoins is often prone to scams, which is not the case with Bitcoin. But if you invest in good altcoins there is an opportunity to make big profit. In that case, the investor must take the risk.

Don't make your self confused just buy Bitcoin with 80% of your funds and use the other 20% in other altcoins meaning your folio must have 80% of bitcoin and then Buy Ethereum , Binance , or even stable coin if you wanted but just the 20% of the funds.
this is what we mostly do and that is the same as what I have.
if you really want to make more profit, it is clear that allocating more/bigger in bitcoin is the best course of action and a small part of course in altcoins. but indeed if you do that you will definitely prepare very large funds, because the value of bitcoin is very expensive compared to altcoins. there is always an impact from wanting to allocate to bitcoin it is certain that the profit will also be quite large, so there is always a benefit that goes with what is done.

I am unbiased and cannot give investment advice.  However, I can provide some information that may help you decide.

Bitcoin (BTC) is the first and most well-known cryptocurrency, and it has the largest market capitalization and the most significant network effect of any cryptocurrency.  Altcoins, on the other hand, are cryptocurrencies that are not Bitcoin.  There are thousands of altcoins each with their own unique features and characteristics.

Investing in BTC or altcoins depends on your investment goals, risk tolerance and market knowledge.  BTC is generally considered less volatile than altcoins, and many investors view it as a store of value or digital gold.  Altcoins, on the other hand, can offer higher potential returns but also carry higher risk due to their smaller market capitalization and less proven track record.

In conclusion, before investing in BTC or altcoins, it is crucial to do your research, understand the technology behind cryptocurrencies, and carefully consider your investment objectives and risk tolerance.

If i were you i would invest in bitcoin together with the selected altcoins, if we only invest in one coin and it is failed then we were loss, but if we invest in different coins and some of them are successful we will earn profit it is better to invest different coin because not all of them get failed i am sure that there are coins or projects that will become successful.

Bitcoin vs Cryptocurrency Differences
We have reached the beginning of a new era where we now have a global currency that helps global businesses transact safely and securely with little transaction cost and time.

Certainly, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency differentiation would have been a dream if we were considering the development of a traditional currency that would do the above in this global economy.

I think this is a good time to buy bitcoin and altcoins because everything is at the bottom right now. And I am sure that some altcoins will give more profit than bitcoin. You just have to measure the risks and make the right choices. You should always have bitcoin and altcoins to increase bitcoins.

Never doubt, always go for bitcoin no matter what for it's the biggest crypto of all time and it's the first crypto ever created by satoshi. It has more investors, supporters and institution towards it even big names supporting it as well. So, bitcoin will always be the dominant of all and it is the face of the crypto currency.

Where there is bitcoin as an option, it should definitely be bitcoin. And of course it also depends on you what kind of strategy you have taken, if you want to do short-term or day trading, you can select bitcoin, but if you have more funds here, you could have earned a good amount of profit. But I would like to suggest you to invest in Bitcoin for long-term. But you can wait for a few more days to get a better dip of bitcoin.

Investing on Bitcoin will be a best option, if you will be willing to go for a long term investments which will really help you to achieve something good that will make you to prefer Bitcoin investment than altcoins in the community. Now that the price of Bitcoin is preparing to increase higher, I believe there is still an opportunity for you to purchase Bitcoin and hold to watch what will happen to the bearish market soon. Those that invested in Bitcoin some years ago, promised themselves to always make Bitcoin their first choice before altcoins because whenever the price of Bitcoin is rising other altcoins price will be rising too.

Bitcoin is a good choice if you want to invest for the long term, because the risk is less rather than altcoin and of course the price will always make a new ATH price, but if you want to get a bigger profit than investing in Bitcoin and of course with a big risk too, then I suggest you to invest in altcoin and altcoin that I recommend for you to invest is VET or ROSE.
what are those project ? kindly tell us what would we expect from that as you advice investing to earn more than what we can get in bitcoin? because it seems Odd if we will just buy that with total risk when we can safely invest in bitcoin comparing to other coins?
specially that you named that 2 that have just heard for the first time lol.

If you buy Bitcoin of course it's a good choice. But the amount you can get is very small. However, if you use it for short-term trading, there is a possibility that you can benefit, thus increasing your investment capital. Yet another coin is BNB. You can earn more than 2 BNB, or half the amount of Ethereum.
Investing certainly has the goal of profit, from that profit there is a choice of a lot of profit or a smaller but safe profit. therefore many people combine it through diversification. that way their investment remains safe and in the hope of providing greater profits. it's different with trading, where we can make as much profit as our portfolio fits, but the risk is also bigger, especially for short-term trading

The only altcoin I want more than BTC is ETH so I would go with ETH. The risk with it is still smaller than other altcoins, but the profits are usually higher than BTC.

If you have a smaller stack than the answer should always be bitcoin.  I'm not saying to stay clear of altcoins but you want to build up a good portfolio of bitcoin before you start venturing off.  A small percentage of your overall portfolio can be aimed at alts but don't be silly like a lot of people and put all your money into alts.  Once you get enough bitcoin I'd start looking at polygon/matic.  Lots of good things going on with that platform.
well, buying bitcoin bit by bit, for now, is enough. The OP started buying bitcoins at $800, and it would be better to buy little by little until you reach a certain value, then build another portfolio with altcoins. it would be a purposeful investment. However, we don't know what the OP thinks, maybe $800 is enough value for him in a bitcoin investment and wants to choose an altcoin. however, I would also recommend opting for bitcoin for now until it's worth enough, and continuing with popular altcoins.

While investing in altcoins, there are many things to consider including the type of project you are investing in.What is its position in the market?  What will be the future use of this project?  Also, what is the roadmap for this token? How tokens are distributed۔What is the total market cap and circulating supply?Because while such coins can give you great returns, there are also risks that they can sink your capital.
Those factors that you've mentioned are mostly ignored by those investors that look at the usual things that are needed to be listed down.

They go down quickly to those altcoins that they want to buy because of what they've seen from other investors that had made such a great gain with those.

Bitcoin is a token that you can fully trust and invest your capital without fear.
Bitcoin isn't a token.
