BTC and ETH will outperform most of the market, apart from a handful of project that will stay relevant in the longterm, if you're confident enough to pick those out, then go for it but most people will end up losing money. So better stick with the big one which is BTC.

Can't you go for both? I mean you can list btc and altcoin together in your portfolio. I think that will be best combination.
Agreed, going with both here!

The crypto ecosystem isn't about bitcoin only, having to own or use altcoins compliments what bitcoin can not do and its success rides on these altcoins flourishing as well.
Besides with crypto its not all about the currencies aspect only, we could use other services such as the utility aspect of some of the alts there or simply go for the coins with much cheap transaction fees if we choose to save a few dollars.

just invest in altcoin it seems $800 is just doesn't cut it to invest in bitcoin, heck even if bitcoin rise 50% you just get small amount of increase, I think in this case investing in altcoin makes more sense.

Totally agree with you that if $800 is invested in Bitcoin, there is no benefit to that one investment, because the price of Bitcoin is very high compared to other coins in the market. If the same $800 is invested in other coins whose price is less than 1 dollar or close to 1 dollar, good profit can be expected from here in bull run.

Because $800 can buy even a small part of Bitcoin, while on the other hand, $800 you can get a large number of other small coins in the market. Even if the price of Bitcoin doubles, there will not be that much profit, but if the prices of smaller coins rise even by 20 to 25 percent, they can get a good profit from there.

Once i joined crypto, i sure as hell wanted moonshots so i chased alts.
After a while, i realized crypto is already too volatile so i just stick with the big 2 and call it a day.
Regret is not something i enjoying living with.
That's right and good for you that you've come to realize that this market isn't all about how diversified you are and how many you're holding. But, what's the most stable crypto that you're holding. Stable in terms of volatility and the market that it has got to show you.
At the end of the day, we're all investing in what we think is going to make us profitable. Some are thinking way beyond that and all they want is to become rich in an instant so they're trying their luck games to the meme coins and pump and dump coins. They know the risk but it's just that, they know that if luck hits them, they'd be rich on it but that's like a guessing game that's hard to understand.

And the most important thing you need to remember is just invest money you can afford to lose.
We tell this all the time and no wonder that many are learning already to invest only with certain amounts.

Investing in both Bitcoin and altcoins are very good idea. But before investing we have to aware about the best altcoins , which is good and long lasting. Because some coins are disable quickly after some time. There is no risk in investing bitcoin, because it a larger and well established cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is more safer and stable investment than altcoins. Before you invest in altcoins you have to check whether it is best coin to invest because some altcoins gives high profit returns but with higher risk. So choose best altcoins before invest.
The best altcoins in my opinion are ETH and BNB of course they have maintained their position at the top and these altcoins have a real use while for ETH it is wider in the ecosystem and BNB is having a big exchange right now.
If you compare, of course bitcoin is better, but you have to wait patiently to invest in bitcoin and it will not be easy to produce if it only takes a moment and it takes years.

I recently made some money through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, and I'm considering using it to purchase some Bitcoin. Only a tiny sum, roughly $800, is involved. What do you suggest doing right now? Purchase some Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency with a promising future.

What replacement coins would you recommend?

If you think about cryptocurrency as a matter of fact, bitcoi should be your number one priority investment, then if you want also think that you're able to take so level of risk to an extent then you can go for some few altcoins and start by checking on the best ratings each has after bitcoin ranking, we have some that could be as well reliable, conduct a research on them and buy them when they are dip, once you earn little more on them then you sell out.

Both Bitcoin and altcoins?
What are the altcoins that you suggest, the top tens? As you've said there are too many of them in the market and there are also stable coins. There's nothing wrong with stable coins as it can also be your choice when you take profits and keep them there.

Although i would only recommended altcoins with top ten except usdt, usdc. Those are stable coin IMHO.  But my recommendation is, already invest in btc with more than 60% of your total fund. That would never make you disappointed
I do agree with your recommendation of having more allocation to Bitcoin than any altcoin. And that should be the priority of someone who knows what's coming to the market, soon.

I agree that investing in both Bitcoin and altcoins is the best way to optimize the chance for bigger profits. But be careful to choose the altcoins, there are many altcoins that have bad fundamentals and may disappear in the future. Just focus on buying top altcoins if we want to have more secure altcoins assets. Anyway, if we buy Bitcoin and altcoins this time, we seem to target selling them in the next bullish season (2024-2025). So, not sure to target short-term holding for altcoins, most of use probably try to hold until the altcoins season. Yes, 60% for Bitcoin and 40% for top altcoins are a good idea, there are many people who use this way.

BNB, ETH, and Matic  is safest if we want gain profit stable because Top 10 Altcoin chart  every year is same. If you wanna gain more profit try it with Meme coin its huge profit will you get but with High risk. especially, altcoin like that seems bubble game you should where you will out and in at the right time

I think the prices of Eth and BNB are quite high,And the capital of eight hundred dollars is nothing in front of these two coins. However, investment in matic token can prove to be good.Instead of ETH and BNB, choosing other smaller and better altcoins can prove to be the best decision. There are many new and good tokens in the market with prices below $1.

Investors with low capital can only benefit if they invest in low-value cryptocurrencies.Because they will get more tokens for less money and if their value increases, they will get more profit. If the value of  high prices tokens increases, small investors will get very little profit,Because they will have the amount of these tokens in points.

agree with what you said, friend, because the funds that will be converted to bitcoin are too small and if there is an increase, you will only get a small value. but if indeed it will continue to be added when getting new funds, so that the value that will be obtained will also be large later. if only the value doesn't increase and it's only that big, it's better to go to BNB or a class of prices that are below it or not much different but still have good prospects in the future.

if you already bought Bitcoin then you did right. But if not yet then it is difficult cause btc dip is over and it pumped a lot within few years..as well as others altcoins like eth, bnb also pump cause altcoins always follow bitcoin rally. Now altcoins like eth, bnb could be best option for you, although bitcoin is unbeatable. Moreover eth is better investment then BNB in my opinion
I would also like to agree with you that whether a option to have investment on Bitcoin there it will be not wise decision to take investment on alt-coin. But if you want to invest in any other cryptocurrency besides Bitcoin, then you can invest in top alt-coins including BNB, Ethereum, Litecoin, Polygon (matic).  Even then my personal opinion or what ever you said as suggestion it will be always best to invest in bitcoin for long-term for gaining profit with the security of the fund of investment.

It depends, do you want to double your money over 4 years or 400x your money? If you want to 400x you need altcoins like Obscuro, bird, chainml, Q Blockchain

I think if you have 800 dollars you should invest half of your money inside Bitcoin. The rest has $400 and you invest half of it in three or four of the top 100 cryptocurrencies in the market. And with the remaining amount, invest in two or three new and different good projects in the market.

In this way your money will be divided into crypto coins of different categories.Bitcoin has low return rate but also low risk whereas other cryptocurrencies have very good return rate.

Well there are many cryptocurrencies but in my opinion the best ones are these,Gala,Matic,Sand,Mana, ocean protocol,Mina,Rndr,CFX,Fantom,DYDX etc.

if asked to choose Bitcoin and altcoins, of course I personally prefer Altcoins,
because I know that Altcoins are more profitable than Bitcoin,
yes, even though there are lots of altcoins that are scams,
there are still many who have good fundamentals and have low prices now, one of my favorites is Velo Protocol.
it come back again with how much money someone could invests, if it's some miniscule amount then better settle off with altcoin since with even smaller amount of money one could always make massive return which in turn also, one could lose their entire investment.
