On your position, I'd take Ethereum
Because, firstly, Ethereum has up-down trends from day to day - a perfect time to make some profit from trading
And secondly, In future it's gonna go up "to the moon"
But, this is just my opinion
I've already bought some ethereum
And hope for long hold

I think the coin btc would not be replaced by the coin coins anywhere because btc is the king of all the coins, although the coin eth skyrocket quickly in the end of the 2017 ago, btc has become a common in the world crypto so I think btc remain number one in the world crypto.

I'm leaning more towards etherium because if you impose a limit of 120 million, it will act as a bomb explosion, the value will be increased as much as possible. Everything else etherium is not so subject to market volatility.

Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?
I vote ETH .I believe in Ethereum.
I think it's too early to discount bitcoin. Do not forget that this is the king of all crypto currency and It will not just give up his positions with its current popularity

Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH) are currently recognized to be the two largest cryptocurrencies in the world as Bitcoin (BTC) takes the lead. Ethereum’s performance in the past few years has opinionated the possibility of taking on the lead in the near future. Nonetheless, bitcoin is seen to keep up an enduring and higher execution disregarding the unstable market inclines in 2017.

BTC and ETH will raise their value in 2018. btc is the king of crypto ,but i think eth seems to be better btc. It's safer and more resistant.

2018 is not a strong year for the Crypto market so BTC or ETH are all down. I think this is the best time to buy ETH and BTC holdings. By the end of 2018 and early 2019, it is the best time for us to benefit from the price difference, because at this moment I am sure that ETH and BTC prices are rising.

In 2018 I would bet on the etherium. The explosive growth of bitcoin fell on 2017, and this year may be the year of the etherium and altcoins.
It might be worth pumping this year, maybe next year. There is a lot of people finding that they made money on Ethereum so they are selling it.

When you concider the gained prices of both coins since last year's January you can see Ethereum's rising is pretty astonishing. It's ERC20 offers a lot for the people who tries every now and then to create new tokens. Though the network of Ethereum is still questionable and since the Bitcoin offers something unique like wider acceptance among the investors- it will still rule the market for a long time.

I think before this year ends both BTC and ETH would have made a lasting impact and statement. It's so hard to dismiss
either of them, since to me both currencies are quite leading the market, with BTC's prices and ETH's wide utilization and
it's prices seems to follow bitcoin's lead. But before that, it's still gonna be a tough time for both. It's a tough time to all
altcoins in general. But all of this is just temporary, a long one if I might add. The prices might not be good now and it's quite
hard to fathom the likeliness of BTC and ETH's speculated success for the year, but it's just how things are, it's a volatile
market after all. Anyway if BTC's does spike up and convinces everybody, ETH is just behind following the lead for now.

Bitcoin had now been deeply rooted to the heart of the investors and bitcoin holders. It is hard to beat this time. Yet the possibilities are still there for some altcoins to surpass what bitcoin have done by now. But I firmly believe it is not this time yet. So i would choose bitcoin over ETH.
