I choose both becuase these two are good for long term hold and also these two might dump and then that is the time to buy more and lastly the ethereum and bitcoin can make you rich if you hold them long enough
we see it now the bitcoin price down lets push the price of ethereum down too, maybe you see it too, see many trading sites have not recovered all crypto prices down slowly following bitcoin prices
2018 is absolotely Ethereum year for crypto world. Ethereum is going to hit 0.2 btc by the end of year.

My opinion, both still dominate in 2018,

In my opinion, the leadership will remain for BTC, as ETH is not yet ready to take a leading position. Much more needs to be done by the team in order to reach the 1st place in this market

Both coins are good, but it depends to people what coins they like to used or to hold. But for me its the same good purpose and value but its different price.

Not only 2018, bitcoin will continue to dominate within several years because he is well-known and acceptable almost everywhere where in general the World. This suitable time for investments.

It's crypto $-) And I change my mind almost every week with trends. The only thing I have never changed is my attitude to several young coins: Neo, ICX, Wanchain, Zilliqa, Fusion.
Choosing only one coin I would rather make a bet on Neo in 2018. It's infrastructure is growing. Also hope that 2019 will be changing for NEO.
I bought BTC for 7000$ and I hope it will grow back and I will have good return. But of course it is necessary to invset both ETH and BTC. More chances for profit with the lowest level of risks in crypto I think
I'm no fortune teller, but I feel like the bitcoin name will rule on. However, my faith is in Eth... it's more established and it's already becoming a household name.

It is hard to choose between the two. ETH is great because so many erc-20 coins/tokens circle around it. BTC on the other hand is the center of every other altcoin. BUt in my personal preference, ETH price movement is much more sensible than BTC price movement.
Both bitcoin and ethereum have potential to grow this year. Both are secured cryptocurrencies and I believe 2018 is a great year for them

In my opinion BTC and ethereum both have good potential in 2018. And I see ethereum will never change the position of BTC. Because BTC is already like the king of all coins that have the highest price. But it can also ethereum take over the BTC position if more enthusiasts in the ethereum than BTC. But that is still impossible.
I will choose Ethereum for sure if I have to choose only 1.. BITCOIN has still its problems of too high transactions costs and is very slow.....

Opps but ethereum continue to falling down like what happen to bitcoin the problem is more ico project that launched to market turn to scam or have no real product in that case it can effect to ethereum price.
But I will also choose ethereum even its continue to down I like the platform of eth and it has a fast transaction compare to bitcoin, the possibility to earn good profit is so high since the price are cheap right now.
Bot BTC and ETH will in the long run have a good year, the market is kind of harsh currently, which isn't a new thing int the crypto world but with time it will recover and stabilize, BTC and ETH will come of great good in the end.
Both coin will win eventually! Bitcoin will continue to lead in crytocurrency space while ethereum will get more people in to cryptocurrency! I am excited at the prospect and the possibility of both coin in the future!
