Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?
In my opinion, both these crypto currencies will grow in 2018, because both coins are valuable enough in the eyes of people. But most likely the growth rate of ethereum will outpace the growth rate of bitcoin.

i think btc, because btc is king of all coins there is. and people recognize bitcoin as a coin / digital currency. but no one knows how to go forward. whether a bitcoin or ether is much liked by people. because both have their respective advantages
as for me .. the ETH looks better. Optimists say that in the near future the ETH will bypass its elder brother. However, there are a number of problems that need to be addressed. Skeptics are worried that these problems will have a negative impact on cryptographics in general. But I believe in the ETH. 
I think that both bitcoin and Ethereum will retain their dominant position in the market and will cost several times more than now. In my opinion Ethereum will not be able to overtake bitcoin in market cap this year.
its ethereum time this year. there will be a great development in the network this year and the price will also climb some milestones.
If the year 2017 bitcoin up 1600% then ETH rose more than 2500%, so I prefer ETH because transaction costs and ETH speeds are better than bitcoin, and with marketcap that keeps rising then ETH has a chance to beat bitcoin.
2018 will be year of cryptocurrency I am sure about it, but if we gonna compare BTC and ETH I think BTC is one step forward because of lightining network afterh launching of this BTC will be more useable from people and it ll increase its price.

I think 2018 will be the year of Ethereum. I think we will be able to see the first signs of this after February 14. What do you think? Do you believe in Ethereum?
I choose bitcoin because it is the mother of all coins. I can imagine that Ethereum will replace bitcoin as #1 in market cap during this years alt season and at the end of 2018 bitcoin is going to be the new(old) #1 with a new ATH.

I still choose ethereum rather than bitcoin in 2018. Because I believe in this year ethereum will experience a very good rise.
Very interesting question, which I meet very often. Many people disagree. But I still think that bitcoin will preserve and improve its position, and Ether I think will keep its position for business.
The price of bitcoin has seen some corrections over the years, but really there have only been a few deep cuts. With the bearish dips in price over the past few weeks it’s always good to look at the historical view of value drops and the long term achievements of the cryptocurrency economy in general. I truly believe there is a great future of Bitcoin. And BTC will always remain as the king of cryptocurrency with the highest market capitalization. Though Ethereum is also very popular after BTC but if Bitcoin ever loses its existence then no other Altcoins will be able to exist, the trust upon cryptocurrency market begins with the trust on BTC. And 2018 price prediction for BTC is 50K. Ethereum may also result delivering good result this year.
If we base it from prices I would say bitcoin will still be the most expensive coin more expensive than ETH, but in terms of performance and growth I think ETH will rule that line. It might growth to a few thousand $ increase in value however it will not defeat the current price of a BTC maybe not this year but I see a lot of potential of ETH to replace BTC in the coming years. Due to increasing transaction fees of BTC people will soon think of other cryptocurrency and that could be ETH. So if you are still starting out i would really advise to start with ETH rather than BTC if you want to earn large profits.
In general, I share your opinion about ethereum. I think in 2018 it will be more successful than bitcoin. But while it's too early to forget bitcoin, the lightning network will soon start working and it can change a lot.
In my option, ETH will increase faster than BTC unless coming lightning to BTC. ETH is really fast and BTC is slow. We will see what will happen
I believe that ethereum will surpass bitcoin in 2018. Bitcoin for me is a project with no future that will be outclassed over time. I also believe a lot in the ascent of Ethereum classic.
I really think we must spend money for both.bitcoin is the mother of market, but it's too expensive for daily use. eth and some other coins may play a better role in real world use of crypto.

Obviously it will still be Bitcoin that will rule in 2018 and will always be. Ethereum is also a good cryptocurrency but it is hard to dethrone a king that has been in the throne for a long time. 
I've invested on both coins since both of them will surely give me profit. Though they're on dip right now, I can see that the market is recovering. Eth is moving on a faster pace but bitcoin will surely go skyrocketing this year. So, I have to choose both and just hold until the right time comes.
Bitcoin is the undisputed king. So far Bitcoin is ruling the whole crypto world. I don't think that will change in 2018.
