Bitcoin for sure, without an iota of doubt. Tell me what is ethereum actually used for today except to fund ICO's. The answer is nothing, absolutely nothing at all.
Yes eth is definitely getting more popular but it still has issues

I will go for Bitcoin. Bitcoin will still rule the cryptocurrency. No coins can overtake the price of bitcoin as the year ends. It will go higher and lower as time, but I beleive it will still maintain its lead. Bitcoin is the first and the original coins we have, very expensive and valuable one. So, I will still choose Bitcoin.
2018 is only for ethereum and LTC, but i prefer ethereum the reason is Ethereum suport by many big Ico and Tokens. Ethereum will eat BTC in 2018 
both are good investments in 2018.I think both have potential. consider both Bitcoin and Ethereum as both were alredy known by many people and the demands by people is higher than other coins.
I really think we must spend money for both.bitcoin is the mother of market, but it's too expensive for daily use. eth and some other coins may play a better role in real world use of crypto.
I think it's not right to choose between these coins, they are both good and have a huge potential, it was most sensible to invest 40% in Bitcoin and 60% in the Etherium, because I believe that the potential for growth of the etherium is higher
I choose Etherium. It's still faster than bitcoin. Although developers from both cryptos are finding a way to address the scalability problems. Ethereum still widely preferred blockchain for smart contracts.
I have always supported the ethereum and I think this year there are so many pleasant news for them.That at least this year will be very good records
I think that BTC is more potential than ETH in 2018. However, ETH is still a strong competitor against BTC

For me my answer is bitcoin, because this year the value of bitcoin has been tripled but many people still choose ethereum than bitcoin and now for all the attention bitcoin getting, it's clear it's no longer alone in cryptocurrency conversation.
Bitcoin or ethereum in 2018 ? Both are equally strong and equally beneficial but this 2018 I prefer ethereum to in the inveskan because I do not have much capital for bitcoin and I see on the market bitcoin this month is not too good price if we want to invest in bitcoin.
Last year, in 2017, BTC dominated and grew at incredible speed. And also ETH grew along with the BTC price. Well this year, ETH will dominate, because it has a great potential.

Ethereum and Bit coin both are strong but bitcoin is very expensive it will only few supply if compare to the Ethereum,this two are in the top position now I must prefer the ethereum because ethereum is very stable currency in 2018
Both have great prospects, then why would you choose between the two, for both are stable and still look set to rule the crypto world. One has the tech advantage and the other a coin of value and popular choice.

Bitcoin and ethereum have their own advantages and disadvantages in the market since this two are in the top I can say it has a good future but between this two I must prefer the ethereum because the price continue to rise up day by day and people all over the world are now patronizing ethereum potential.
