The question that does not have the right answer, because these projects today have completely different areas of work, but as we all understand the BTC will still win. It's so obvious. But it is not exactly.
Etherum has progress. prices at the moment, but Bitcoin also its price always soar. I will still choose both, because bitcoin or etherum is a very good place to invest in the current cryptocurrency market. Because I believe in the coming year the two will be soaring, and make us a successful person.
It is very difficult to predict who will be the winner of this year. But if we are talking about winner in price growth, i think it will be a token from some ICO launched in 2018. As for ETH and BTC, i believe that Ether will grow more times than Bitcoin.
I will choose eth because I don't use btc for anything apart from store of value, but eth, I use eth to invest in ICO's. So i will choose eth because it servers me too purposes, store of value and ICO investing.

I think BTC will be a more profitable coin for investment this year than ETH. Now the price for BTC is growing faster than at ETH.
Both coins are good now and I think it's best to invest in both coins. I do not advise you to invest only in one coin.
BTC is more profitable in 2018. If you see the price difference between the two (Bitcoin and Ethereum), then Bitcoin is higher in price. But if this is a choice, I would prefer Bitcoin. Because I still consider one of the factors to increase the price of Ethereum is Bitcoin, so if the price of Bitcoin drops then altcoin also follows it. Maybe this is my stupid thought.
Bitcoin will definitely remain the king of the cryptocurrency market this year and in the next 2 - 3 years. I think that the Ethereum will grow to a maximum of $ 2000 this year, and Bitcoin is likely to reach $ 20,000, and this is the maximum.
I think both of them , as we see the price movement of Bitcoin and Ethereum still promising , but I believe Bitcoin is the leader while Ethereum useful to cover fees and transactions process .
I think we need to keep both of these coins. Because they are at the moment the most reliable and promising. They are almost equal in strength.
The bitcoin will certainly lead, because Etherium is not yet so strong.
I dont prefer both of them, I prefer Neo and wanchain from cheap prices like now, especially wanchain can do very big things at bull run according to me, you can research about team and project and you can see what they are doing.

I believe that will lead the coins in this year that is Bitcoin. Currently, Bitcoin is still feasible to be the first and I will continue to hold my Bitcoin until the price is back high again. 
I think no one knows which coins the price will grow faster, but usually the price for BTC grows a little faster than on ETH.
There is no fixed rule as such. The ETH vs BTC exchange rates are very volatile. During the past 8 months, it has ranged from 0.025 BTC to 0.100 BTC. Now once again, ETH is going down versus BTC.
I like Ethereum more than Bitcoin but I totally sure that Ethereum not so popular for common people who don't have cryptocurrency yet. And when they will choose to buy some - it would be Bitcoin.
I would not oppose them one to one. I'd rather invest in both of these coins. I hope that they will grow several times before the end of this year.
