Or, as I like to put it ... That gut feeling is probably nothing more than your breakfast.

Actually more of a gut-feeling then anything else.
Put gut feelings into DMS and you'll give your money to someone else who used a spreadsheet Wink

Actually more of a gut-feeling then anything else. It just seems that with the current dividend payment schedule and the so far continously over-estimated ASIC delivery power for at least the next month or two (Avalon shipping late, BFL not shipping fast enough etc) I just don't see a perpetual 20% increase in short or long term. I think people tend to underestimate the downward force that diff increases apply to hash-power rollouts over time.

Imagine 250TH BFL + 250TH Avalon chips + 250TH Bitfury + 250TH KNC + 250TH AsicMiner (total about 5x diff) in 3 months + the rest and plans like AM's 1PH in next months. Now check http://bitcoinx.com/profit/

But you are certainly right in sense that in comparison to TAT.VIRTUALMINE, which is traded at 2.5BTC/GH, DMS.MINING is undervalued.

What do people think about CB.IDIFF-O and the effect it might have on DMS.SELLING? They are very similar, but CB.IDIFF-O is simpler and DMS.SELLING doesn't reset every two months.

There's room for both. I think there's room for more too, just need to get creative with how they work.

To get a 10% return in a year with current diff rises, only pay 0.006 BTC  Undecided

We've been seeing close to 20% increases for the past two months (besides the one 10% increase). With AM, Avalon, and the newcomers (ActM, Labcoin, BTCGarden), don't you think that there's significant chance of continual increase?

PS. Even if diff increases were only 10% per period, MINING would only pay out about .009 from now until 12/9/14

Disclosure: I've closed all my positions (for now)

I spent the morning reading up on DMS.MINING and have a distinct feeling that this asset is quite heavily undervalued. Anyone care to argue for/against the current (around 0.007) valuation?

The value of DMS.MINING is based solely on the future of the difficulty value.

A value of 0.007 implies a rise in difficulty of about 15% every difficulty period for the next few months. Do you think that is too high? What do you think the increase will be? A value of 0.01 implies an increase of about 10% every period.

As someone who is manufacturing ASIC miners, you would know better than others what the future difficulty value might be. What do you think the value of DMS.MINING should be? How do you arrive at that value?

I'm not him, but I'm sure he got the divs  Smiley

Wait for the divs to come in, then sell to people who don't understand what happen when a SELLING div is paid. That's the well hidden secret  Grin

Awwww, and now you went and told everyone!

Giving away all my secrets, odolvlobo!  Cheesy

It seems that no one can be bothered to read more than two pages back into this thread, so I'm sure it will be long forgotten in a couple of days!

Someone had their finger on the sell button.

I did, but someone still beat me to 90% of it.

Did you still get the dividends on the shares you sold?
