Was Bitshares Dlisted or something? How come the massive price drop?

Bitshares has been delisted from Bittrex, I think this caused a drop in the price but lots of other altcoins are dropping as people sell to Bitcoin in hope of picking up some free Bitcoin Gold.

(see delisted note at top of this page)
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-bts

If Bittrex delisted the bitshares, why they deleted at the begining ? it was a very bad reference for the project. they need to know that it is not a game, it is a business. Many investors were negatively affected from this situation.

It was out of their control and a sneaky move from Bittrex's part. Bitshares will recover and get back in the billion dollar market cap pretty soon. It is Bittrex that will die off slowly with their centralized model.

Using regular account model or cloud model, you just back up

1. account name
2. password (which is more like private key)

That's it for most people

password need put to .txt file and than .zip it with second password from head for ideal security  Smiley

here's some best practice on backup: https://steemit.com/bitshares/@ash/bitshares-backing-up-your-wallet-is-worth-millions

The price of the project is very low. I think it's an opportunity to make purchases. I will make some purchases. There will be too many incentives in the future. Because, DEX's are the future Wink

please tell me how much coins i need for PoS and how to start?

see FAQ 1st page.

tldr: you have to be elected a top 17 witness to get staking reward i.e. block reward

I'd say an active witness. there is no max, so could be 21 active witnesses for example

for some advanced users there's also another type called wallet model or local model

1. account name
2. password (can be simpler than private key)
3. a file with .bin extension it would ask you to save upon creation or later from settings

I think 2+3 can be replaced with brain key (like bunch of words) you can also back up from settings.

I installed the purse on the computer. Tell me how to make a backup copy of my wallet I can not figure it out!

pay more attention, else you'll lose your money in bitshares.

I guess you signed up via the cloud wallet model, you only need to backup your password then
