I just wonder if it's something in the 3.0.0 or the 3.0.1 client or both. I suck at crypto, is there something I could put in my conf to block node2.bullion.one? So I can test it and see if it's that? I dunno, I'm currently reindexing right now.

As far as I know, there is no explicit way to manually block a node. However you can force the wallet to connect only to some predefined nodes, and reject all others.
For that you need to remove "addnode=" entries from your bullion.conf (in case if there were any), and add "connect=" entries pointing to the hosts you want to exclusively connect to.

So, basically, you need to put this into your bullion.conf:

Code:
connect=95.217.77.209
connect=82.21.164.47
connect=89.210.233.40
connect=24.55.154.69
connect=73.121.220.52

However I doubt this will actually help... Might worth a try, anyway. I already did so, and my wallet is connected to all nodes except node2.bullion.one currently.

Is it bullion.conf or cryptobullion.conf Huh

I have entries in the latter while the former is empty.

In my cryptobullion.conf file I now have:

Code:
connect=95.217.77.209
connect=82.21.164.47
connect=89.210.233.40
connect=24.55.154.69
connect=73.121.220.52

# addnode=174.72.227.20:7695
# addnode=175.156.166.57:7695
# addnode=67.128.36.90:7695
# addnode=76.169.51.184:7695
# addnode=80.3.158.239:7695
# addnode=87.98.243.61:7695
# addnode=94.130.237.52:7695
# addnode=94.15.192.76:7695

I see just one page back guys were bragging about this coin "just simply works", and there is no need for a developer..

Uh, it seems this is not the case. It works, until it just doesn't.

Anyone has any idea on why this PoS chain could just stop without visible reason? I have seem similar behavior from few older PoS coins, some were fixed by developer somehow, but nobody eventually wrote anything about the reasons. This is one of the reasons PoW chains (or at least PoW/PoS) are more viable and resilient - anyone can move them again by just directing some hash.

I've got six nodes:

Code:
node2.bullion.one
24.55.154.69:7695
89.210.233.40:7695
82.21.164.47:7695
95.217.77.209:7695
73.121.220.52:7695

and am stuck at block 3762194 as well.

The funny thing is the SexCoin block-chain ground to a halt on Chainz about six weeks ago while the rest of the network was still ticking over, so I'm wondering if this site (Chainz) is the only one to have a block explorer for Bullion?  Hence the wallets have also stopped?

If anyone had a block hight higher than 3762194, then we could move our wallet's block-chains along too.

What nodes are you connected to?  Can you post them here please?  I've got five connections to other nodes/peers (including node2.bullion.one )

I updated the block-chain a week ago and have just started my wallet which is at block 3762194 (Last Block Time Sat May 8 22:27:47 2021) - and hasn't moved from that block since I started it an hour ago.

Here is a excerpt from my "getpeerinfo":
Code:
       "addr" : "node2.bullion.one",
        "subver" : "/Vault:3.0.0/",
        "startingheight" : 3762194,

        "addr" : "95.217.77.209:7695",
        "subver" : "/Vault:3.0.1/",
        "startingheight" : 3762194,

        "addr" : "82.21.164.47:7695",
        "subver" : "/Vault:3.0.1/",
        "startingheight" : 3762194,

        "addr" : "89.210.233.40:7695",
        "subver" : "/Vault:3.0.1/",
        "startingheight" : 3762194,

        "addr" : "24.55.154.69:7695",
        "subver" : "/Vault:3.0.1/",
        "startingheight" : 3762194,

        "addr" : "73.121.220.52:7695",
        "subver" : "/Vault:3.0.1/",
        "startingheight" : 177463,

So basically 6 nodes, all of which (except for node2.bullion.one) are running the latest version, and all (except one) are on the same block 3762194.
Explorer (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/) is stuck on the same block for the last 8 days.

The worst part of this - is the fact, that the wallet does not stake, even being synced and having mature coins. It seems to be some problem in the wallet implementation, which could only fixed by developers (I suppose so).

Blockchain finally stopped? My wallet does not sync for the last 5-6 days, and doesn't stake, regardless of the fact it seems to be in sync with official explorer, and does have mature coins.

Can anybody look into this?

I know founders are busy with something else, but if this is not fixed soon, their brainchild will cease to exist very soon, as no exchange will support coin with broken blockchain (except Yobit of course, but it doesn't count as a real crypto exchange Grin)

Latest Blockchain Bootstrap files as of today...

1. Go to C:\Users\"your username"\AppData\Roaming\Bullion

2. Delete every file except peers.dat, bullion.conf, wallet.dat and folder Backup

3. Then extract the file in the folder above and you are ready to go

hello,

http://data.bullion.one/v30/bootstrap.zip 404
please, need new.

/PAAVO

Not sure if the developers are still here; I have uploaded a copy of my blockchain to the Mega. Here it is: https://mega.nz/file/np03QBLB#u-yX3n_2Qpt-zrB1A6nX6EENLv1kANKDDE1cfCmKnxM

It is not as fresh as I would like (maybe two weeks old), but should be ok. Also - it is from a Windows wallet, so I am not sure it will work on Linux.

Let me know whether it works for you.

Thanks a Bullion! Can i send you something ?

Nah, don't worry about that. I'm glad to help.

Btw, in Vault v3 there's an option accessible from the menu for an automated bootstrap load in case you prefer that over the manual, somewhat cumbersome, procedure.

Cheers.

Offtopic maybe...
Im missing maybe like 5-10 or 4-8 numbers/symbols/letters from my 900 wallet.. how long should it take to crack it ?
Im want to stake it on my mac...

Seems weird after lot of years dev gone away?
Problem was devs or leaders where not coders or designers.
What was the tech guys for this one called again?

Not Elambert or vonspas

Yes.
It seems dead. It is not and it will never die.

I'm never going back with this. I'm keeping mine. I mined 900cbg from day one to day 30. I got 30 per day.  The 7eur price i just say'd no. No no ...
Now the password is lost wallet is still there.
So i bought around 1.6k staking with it whenever my sys does not crash. (have been able to stake around 56.)

I'm not selling mine for less then a 1000eur on web.
5k-20k on street.

(yes this street is not there... it will be there....)

Keep it and stay alive !

Any ideas how to get back to CBG blockchain? i'd like to keep that chain alive as well and keep mining it with what ever i have.... anything to keep it alive.

Please upload Bootstrap.zip

I want to keep this online .
Also if possible upload latest version.
I see real potential in this project.

6 years seems to long to update.
Don't let me down Smiley

my Bootstrap got broken.

Br,
paavo

This is the most recent bootstrap for Vault v3:
http://data.bullion.one/v30/bootstrap.zip

It's a bit old, I know...
