I just read something about aptum, may not continue. Let's wait for official news, I could be mistaken.
Elambert has been solid for years, this merger or partnership, whatever it is to be, should be issue or disaster free because a lot of people do have faith in him based on his reputation.
Last I had heard the queue based masternode system was almost there? Bullion is a great name too.
There was a prior attempt to start a new CBX related project that did not end up taking place. Let's hope aptum does go ahead or that bullion does get back on track.
If the queue based masternode design was flawed or there turned out to be insoluble problems with it then that is fine, but it sounded all so very close to completion.. I believe they had turned it out on testnet for a while, so it must have looked promising.
To be clear I am a supporter of Elambert and hope that one or both of these projects does well in the future.
Why do you think anything was ever done with regards of implementing masternodes on Bullion..? I start to doubt it...
This project was clearly put aside, because it doesn't generate money, and new *something* was started, to collect some money on ICO. Sad.
Really sad to see one of the oldest and most stable coins let out to die, though I understand everyone needs money, and noone is obliged to work for free. One *could*, but when he/she has spare time and resources. It looks like the developers' resources have dried up.
In any case, if there was really a progress made on masternodes, and there was a significant flaw or obstacle found during implementation, it would have been nice to listen about that from the devs.
What happened to the other long term member of the leadership of bullion? I forget his name now?
I guess you are talking about VonSpass..? He was the one working on masternodes. Looks like he fell in an unequal battle against Masternodes... Well maybe better to say - just disappeared. Here is his last post:

Truly saying, I was shocked to see the "Aptum" update from @elambert. Surprised in a very unpleasant way. Its like 'we are working', 'we will give the results in a month', then after a month - 'we are so happy to announce we won't release anything, but we started to work on a new thing'! This doesn't inspire confidence in the new thing either, and I am very skeptical in regards to Aptum (especially after I read very unprofessional communication from the lead developer, whose English was even worse than mine, and who was too concentrated on a smallest tech details, to be a leader of a really ambitious project with a 'vision'). Sorry all this probably sounds harsh, but this Aptum project really pissed be off, as it killed Bullion, in fact.
