I think that Ethereum does not depend only on its creator. There is a great team behind this project and this is one of the most trusted altcoins. I will cause some disappointment on the market but will not affect the token price in long term.

Ethereum, the way it has played out strongly reminds me of NXT. Another platform that was brand new code base, became a stellar (excuse the pun) performer for a long while (in crypto timescales) and then kinda ran out of steam and got enveloped in politics.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear that Butarin has jumped ship. No-one is currently, effectively leading Ethereum.

I think it's just a bad rumor that the price of ETH is much lower. because I believe Buterin will still manage ETH, but that is just a rumor that worries many investors and sells ETH. buterin will never leave ethereum, he is the figurehead of this company and he knows that if he does go then it will simply fall. Perhaps he will sideline himself from day to day work and just be on the 'board' heading some type of community forum
To think that Buterin would leave the Ethereum platform, is what I see not happening. He has not for once denounce or said he would not support ethereum again, except to make it better. I believe that very soon, we will see more development on the ethereum platform.

I don't think he's going to leave, recently Vitalik Buterin donated $300,000 (in ether) to several ethereum 2.0 startups in response to twitter thread. And in пeneral he has a lot of plans.
Maybe Mr. Buterin had already sold all his ETH and had make him millionaires. He wants a free life which he can't get if he will still be connected with Etheruem project. Although if this is true..ETH will encounter a dumps as many investors will shift to other coins but this can still manage to survive as the project will continue to prove that this is a establish platform.
Vitaly created ethereum, but besides him, a whole team of developers is working on the project. And she also intended to release the version of ethereum 2.0. So I think everything will be fine.
I don't think that's a problem because the ethereum team is not only Vitalik and it won't change ethereum anything will still be a favorite coin as long as the ICO is still alive ethereum will continue to be a coin used for ICO payment,but when that happens like that ethereum prices will dump but not long after it should rise again/
It's really big impact for ethereum if Buterin leave ethereum because you know people think that the price of eth will be down for sure.
Buterin will not leave the project and will not abandon the etherium until he brings him to the well-known logical end and the maximum development of the ethereum network. See how he talks about the future of Ethereum at conferences, he is very loyal to project.
I guess Vitalik buterin really not intended to say that he is leaving the ethereum, i really think its metamorphically speaking that he is going to release the version 2.0 of the ethereum. If i were buterin i will really not leave on what i've been created for a long time that and is very successful in the present. But he leaves, then we have nothing to do with it and surely he will leave with purpose.

maybe Vitalik Buterin plans to move to another project and starts leave ethereum, I hope he becomes the developer team for hf coins from ethereum.

It will definitely bring a big impact on the Ethereum community in case Vitalik Buterin is really leaving Ethereum. I hope this won't come because it seems the community is not ready yet.
He didn't say he was going to leave Ethereum, there was another meaning in his words. Or rather he said he believes that the project is able to develop without it!
Yes I don't think it will leave Ethereum, at least personally I don't see any sense in it. The project is quite promising and in demand among major investors, this project brings him profit and popularity, so why abandon it? I believe that this is just a unjustified rumor.
