There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???

I don't think there is another coin or crypto that has a potential to replace bitcoin, as of now. But, i think that the time will come that the coin or crypto that will replace bitcoin will born someday in the future, but of course not now. There will a come a time that that time will come, unexpectedly.

Base on what I have seen in the market and base on the altcoins existence span no, for me, no altcoins can ever surpass or even achieve what bitcoin establish. We have seen how bitcoin grow faster for a decade so it really means that bitcoin is already a well known and well established coin of all time.

It is unlike that bitcoin is superseeded by any other crypto in the nearest several years.
In fact, something horrible should happen for bitcoin to lose its 1st place and I can't even think of a possible scenario.

Let's talk about what you mean by "replace." If we are talking about capitalization, then, at the moment, it is difficult to imagine any coin capable of it.

I think that this will never happen! Bitcoin is the king of the market, and all coins depend on him. Yes, it is possible that someday the most promising coin will appear, but no one knows it. Bitcoin has too many advantages over the rest of the coins! But we will never know what will happen in reality!

I think absolutelty we will see this proces because ethereum or other alt-coins have more technology and are faster than bitcoin so probably one of these coins will replace bitcoin.

There are coins that are even faster than the ethereum. We can continue this indefinitely.
The main thing today is the worldwide recognition. Bitcoin is a brand, it is a symbol of the cryptocurrency. It will be able to replace something only when the crypto currency becomes an ""everyday thing""

Well I think that currently only Ethereum has such a potential. On the other hand, it will not be easy to oust bitcoin, because it is the most famous and expensive cryptocurrency in the world.

If we are talking about technology, it has long been made Ethereum. But if we are talking about the most capitalized coin, it is unlikely.
Ethereum technology? Whaich one? the one that froze the blockchain when trading Kryptokitties? Or the one that prevents users to fully synconize an Ethereum full node?
My two Cents,

I will say there are much coins in circulation that can replace Bitcoin as the Mother of all Digital Currencies. Some coins like Ethereum, NEO and litecoin have possible potential in the market to overtake Bitcoin few years to come, but that is much more like a thread going through the face of a needle or the nose of a camel.

Not anytime soon...... Bitcoin will remain king for a long time due it being the first as well as most widely adopted.  Others can start to build up adoption, but Bitcoin has had a very long headstart.  It'll be quite a few years for anything else to even come close.

Bitcoin cannot be replace by other cryptocurrencies because it is the leading cryptocurrency and it is the first cryptocurrency that was created by Satoshi Nakamoto. I think only ethereum can can have a huge value like bitcoin in the near future that is why more investors are buying ethereum.

although it could probably be impossible. it took a few years when bitcoin found its glory.
stability and market is a very important influence.
it might be a real dream if there is another crypto that rivals the bitcoin at the moment.

I personally don't see any other cryptocurrency replacing bitcoin in the near future. Bitcoin is still the leading cryptocurrency and is yet to unleash its full potentials. Though bitcoin cash is a close substitute, but I still see bitcoin maintaining in its position.

Bitcoin has the most experienced developers who are constantly working to improve the network and solve different problems. However, I think Ethereum has all chances to overtake Bitcoin as soon as the scalability issue is solved.

There may be no crypto that can replace bitcoin as of now. Bitcoin is the highest market cap with a very large volume and most altcoins are purchased with bitcoin. Many cryptos don’t work like cash or a currency where you can buy things like bitcoin does. They are just projects for like Blockchains, and other decentralized ideas. You can still invest in to coins you find that work as a cash settlement and may increase 5x or more than bitcoin would. This is because these coins have space to jump in front of each other with lower market caps since there not so close to the top. They may be a more private currency than bitcoin is with better Blockchain which makes it worth using more than bitcoin giving it value. They may be a younger bitcoin like coin that still needs to grow a lot in price. Some coins are undervalued and have a lot of potential.
