Is it possible to remove tokens from dead projects/tokens that are totally useless and worth $0 from my wallet? Do I just send them to a random address? I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins  Cheesy
I'm curious to know how did you earn this useless token. If you earned all token by social hunting than you can't be over sure that all token is useless. Only most of the airdrop token will be useless. There is no exists process that you can burn your all useless token. Good suggestion from some advisors that change your wallet after long time like Ethereum blockchain wallet.

You can send to random address, but this is need eth to fee. Better you create new eth address. This is more simple and no need to waste your eth.  Grin
But if you are lunatic would you do that? Sending tokens to unknown wallet just to dispose these tokens are totally negative move. I often think why some irritated with their wallets seeing useless tokens, they can just always create new one or if not just dont mind those tokens.

I know some using gas to dispose their shitcoin but what could they achieved with that? Haha very obsessive compulsive people.

I don't think you only have useless coins, we all have them too. but just leave the names of these dead coins at our address. who knows the owner / project of the owner of this coin wakes up from his sleep. Grin Grin
The owner of a useless coin project obviously never sleeps, because if he sleeps automatically he will not be able to make useless coins, The point is he is smart to make coins even though it is not useful to anyone.

yes, maybe you can send it to the address randomly, or if you want you can send it to my address. I understand your feelings because I'm also feeling it where all the tokens in the wallet are almost all useless or not valuable. but I'm sure there is still hope, because the tokens that I collected from 2018 did initially seem hopeless, but after this time I checked again there were developments in exchange. although it's very slow, but I think that's positive rather than nothing.

Since they are dead tokens, they will not affect anything on your wallet, but you will be charged with paying the transfer fees. The other thing is that there are currencies that we cannot transfer or sell it in wallet because the owners of the project have locked it so that we cannot sell them.

You can do anything with tokens already owned in the wallet including kicking out shitcoin, shitcoin lists are very annoying but throwing them away requires transaction fees, another option is to hide shitcoin using metamask.

You cannot delete it from your wallet,  all you can do is to transfer from your wallet to another wallet or you just abandon the wallet and make use of new wallet,  but I will prefer you abandoned it and use new one because of stress in transferring and gas money,  sometimes eth network will be congested and gas fee is high

You can send it to another ethereum wallet, or to this wallet - 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead it is a token burn wallet, but you will have to pay fees for each transfer and when you send ERC20 token, the transaction fee is much higher.  Cry

You cannot remove those tokens from your wallet, you can simply move it to a new address. But surely you will waste gas to do so. Why not create a new address, it will be much simpler and faster

Just create a new wallet and transfer everything useful to there

Unfortunately, this is the only method available for those who use ERC-20 platforms right now. And I regard this as one of the drawbacks of this platform. I used to be very active in airdrops and bounty campaigns, and as a result I receive a lot of spam tokens (i.e promotional tokens) in my ERC-20 address. I can't get rid of them, as there is no option to delete them. If I move the good tokens to another wallet, then I need to pay the transaction fee.

But you can use lowest available gas/gwei to transfer tokens to etherdelta or forkdelta. Transaction with 21000 gas and 3 gwei cost a bit more than 1 cent. If you really have a lot, I suppose you are able to spend 1 dollar to get rid of them Smiley Think about it, few dollars and your wallet is clean from trash

You can face only 1 problem, some tokens could be locked...

Why do you have to send it to the address, just let that stay in your wallet, who knows when the bull run comes that coin will pump, then you will enjoy a good profit, you know regret will always come in the end, but we know this market is very unpredictable, if in the past, dead coins pump, I think it could possibly happen this coming bull run.
As a person with a slight OCD, I think I can understand why someone needs to do that. For me, those useless token looks distracted and I just want them to go away, tidy up which token I need to keep track and whatnot. Kinda hard to explain but like every day you take a look at your address and see that same shit token again and you need to do something to clean up.

Dead altcoins are airdropped for promotion and marketing purposes, these altcoins are not reliable. Burning these tokens is necessary for me because the dust coins cost a time to check every time when I open my ETH address. For burning sending tokens to this address is ok: 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Actually i have not try it right now so i can't tell you, but i am now thinking about it' why you need delete unless token? Roll Eyes
It's the clearly there are many unless token have still our wallet but we can't never upset. Because you need to focus next good coins and just thinking avoid death coin. Even we know 80% of death coins come from scam project and airdrop.

I don't think it's possible, with some apps you can hide the tokens but it won't be deleted from the wallet. What I do is send valuable tokens to a different and leave the worthless ones in another wallet

You can't do that, and I think you, like me before, also wanted to delete very low-value coins from your wallet and didn't want to see them.

But there are projects that seem to be dead one day, the development team has been revived and maybe those coins have brought you great profits. If you really don't want to see it, you should create a new wallet. Do not waste ETH fee to transfer it to another wallet

No mate. That's not possible rather what you will have to do is create another wallet address, send tokens you wish not to see in your main wallet to the new address by so doing, you get to see only tokens you want in your main wallet. There's no option to delete or remove tokens on the blockchain aside transferring it to another wallet address.
Good point at least he still have the tokens though it was carried in another wallet and this will save OP if ever the tokens he wishes to delete appears to have value in future because i believe that this happens before.
Just create a new wallet and transfer everything useful to there
same advice from what i quoted above you.
Make a new address to make the useless token and forget the private key also you do not want to send random addresses. I've also done that for just a few tokens, now I better leave it in the wallet as a collection haha Cheesy, because it will dispose of ETH as well as gas.
why nee to create new address when he can just send to random addresses that he can find in some spreadsheets in altcoin bounty section.

If you have plenty of those shit tokens like me in your wallet let them be in there, if you send it randomly the you have to spend eth for gas. It is better than to make another wallet address if you don't like seeing them instead of spending some gas for no reasons at all.
