Make a new address to make the useless token and forget the private key also you do not want to send random addresses. I've also done that for just a few tokens, now I better leave it in the wallet as a collection haha Cheesy, because it will dispose of ETH as well as gas.
I think that if there are tokens that are useless, there is no need to throw them away and if you make a new wallet just to store tokens that have an estimated value it will only make you confused one day and of course you will lose shipping costs because you use ethereum for costs. shipping, it's better to leave it alone and hope that the token wallet has a valid estimated value.

Why do you have to send it to the address, just let that stay in your wallet, who knows when the bull run comes that coin will pump, then you will enjoy a good profit, you know regret will always come in the end, but we know this market is very unpredictable, if in the past, dead coins pump, I think it could possibly happen this coming bull run.

You have a choice if you want to get rid of them. Send to other addresses (but you have to pay for gas), choose not to display them so it wont visible but still there existing or create another wallet to start over.

I have few worthless tokens but I just leave it there, well its a memory of my past joined/invested projects so seeing them is not that bad. Who knows it might regain its value in the future.

If you are using a mobile wallet like Trust Wallet, you can set up the coins you do not want to be shown in your wallet. If you want to remove some tokens completely, the only way is to send them to another wallet or smart contract.
Yes, and that is only specific to wallet users via their smart phones, whereas when they open through ethplorer and etherscan, everything will also appear again, and sending junk tokens to other wallets will only waste your own gas / fee.

You can create a new wallet. Send there (with lowest available gas) tokens that you think worth or would worth something and post your private key in some public place. I'm sure there will be people who will wish grab these useless tokens. Or create a giveaway of your wallet with useless tokens Smiley

Is it possible to remove tokens from dead projects/tokens that are totally useless and worth $0 from my wallet? Do I just send them to a random address? I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins  Cheesy

You cannot delete any token at all from your wallet, either useful or useless, either trust or imtoken wallet, you cannot delete any token.

If you want to stop seeing those coins, you can just simply remove it from the list of your top coins in the wallet. The token will still show on etherscan.io irregardless of (temporary) removal from wallet

Just click the + sign on the wallet, and - such tokens

But if you need token later in the future, click the + sign as well, and add the token back by clicking the + sign.

Yup, you can delete any worthless tokens from your wallet. I have done that with Trust Wallet (that’s the only wallet I have been using since I experienced that). There was an airdrop I participated in, the name is Cubechain (QUB) and after I was inactive and they sent the tokens to my Trust wallet address. I just don’t know what happened , but by the time I logged back to Trust wallet, I saw 500 QUB's that are worth zero dollars lol.

I removed the token by clicking the Plus (+) sign at the top right corner of the app. Once you open the page you will see every active coins and tokens in your wallet and you can deactivate whatever you want.

If you are talking about ERC20 tokens, yes, you can delete tokens that you do not want in your wallet. But I do not understand why you want to do such a thing, although it is a terrible project, it will not make much sense to delete it. Maybe one day those tokens you delete will inflate like balloons and then you will feel regret, who knows. I do not recommend you to delete it

Yeah I have 1.6M goal tokens, lets hope you are right.

I only wanted a dollar each for them.  Cheesy

You can send them to any waste wallet or just sample ignore/hide  Cool
Very simple thinking, if someone sends a garbage token to another wallet, it will cost gas / shipping costs, and ignoring or hiding the token in the wallet is the way lazy people who do not want to see or find out how to burn the trash token.

In love with Bitcoin!! 💓💕
Arrgh, I hate these scam tokens piling up at my address. And you know what, as opposed to what most people are telling, you can't transfer all those tokens to other address. Some tokens have transfer locks in their contracts and if u try to transfer them your transaction will fail. This is what I dislike the most. My address and I can't even choose to kick out tokens I don't like. As for gas fees, ya sure you need to spend it, but if you can send these tokens to other address and keep ur main address neat and clean, then it's sure worth the few cents of fees spent.

You can't remove token from wallet, I think you just need transfer your tokens that still have value to new wallet, and leave the dead project token or worthless token from your wallet

There is no point in creating a new wallet every time you get a token with a zero price. If you participate in bounties and airdrops, you will have many more such tokens. Just learn not to notice them, especially since it is possible to make them invisible.

I feel you bro Grin. I know the feeling of getting something but means nothing at all — a wonderful trash. I still remember my newbie times, that time I just collect and collect. You know, I joined crypto faucets, airdrops and enter different sites just to get few unknown coins lol. But as I mature, I realized that they are all worthless so what I did is just create a new wallet and forget the rest. I never regret all the decisions I made tho, I am happy with my current holdings Smiley.

I even got 70+ airdrop tokens most of them came into my wallet since 2017 and early 2018 when there was altcoin bubble wherein even airdrop tokens have value however most of them are not good enough to enter the market. Well, I was starting that time so whatever the airdrop is I will always join them, now, it is just a mess in my wallet, you don't need to do anything just leave it there. Who knows if you will get a lucky one
Same too me if have another good ways for back token their address without myetherwallet Fe's then i do it. Even when i open my mew wallet then I'm shocked, coin lot of but not show dollar icon lol. Anyway , need kick those coin where no have value in the market, just don't care and never sad.

or you can consider it as a souvenir when participating in some projects. or if you're lucky, one of those tokens will revive and grow x100 times like the Energi tokend once did. Grin

Seriously? A souvenir? Lol what a fancy advice  Grin
Your last statement make sense. I mean I understand how the OP was so annoyed with a lot of shitcoins boarding your wallet. But, most of the wallet does have an option to hide specific coins specially the shitcoins.
@OP don't send it anywhere else you'll pay for gas with every transactions. Just leave it as is, ignore them if you dont have the options to hide it. Some shitcoin might be useful in the future.

This is true during those years tokens are very valuable even a non ICO airdrop have value and easily can be exchange into btc or eth but now, they are all just a bunch of display in our wallets.

For OP, just leave it there nothing you can do to dispose of them unless you really that persuasive and can spend so much for gas. Better thing to do is create new wallet which is much easier than sending those token to eternity.

For $ 0 tokens, you should get rid of them by creating a better new wallet instead of sending it to others. Because each transaction will cost you a fee from time to time, you may have to spend $ 1 to send only $ 0 tokens. It's not a good solution, or you can consider it as a souvenir when participating in some projects. or if you're lucky, one of those tokens will revive and grow x100 times like the Energi tokend once did. hahaha why did you bother to delete the dead token in your wallet, The reason for sending tokens to wallet addresses requires Gas. If you have a lot of eth, you can do that or send  Tokens to burning addresses. But if you don't have eth, it's better if you leave your token off in your wallet as your collection of assets
