I have tons of worthless tokens/coins on my wallet, you can send them to an unknown or random wallet but this will cost you to pay gas for transaction fees. So, I just let them be since it doesn't affect my wallet anyway. If your wallet is left with just shitcoins just create a new wallet or just movr your altcoin with value.

Is it possible to remove tokens from dead projects/tokens that are totally useless and worth $0 from my wallet? Do I just send them to a random address? I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins  Cheesy
No actually. But you can send them into burning adress such as 0x9000000000" something like that. Where did you store your tokens? If you have an app imtoken you can make on option not showing on your display address. But still the tokens are just there but you wont be able to see it.  Much better if you are going to create a new wallet to dispose this wallet of you full of shitcoins. But why bothered with these shitcoins? Its okay if you have that its a pretty display on your wallet  Grin

But dont do sending it away, you never know if some of these tokens can be worth it later on just like bitcoin.

yes, you can send all your dead tokens to a random address but it costs money and I think the shipping costs are far more valuable than the dead tokens you have in your wallet, my advice is better you don't need to bother about it, you can ignore it or just pretend you don't have that token.

NO, you need to send to any address or to a burn address, ithink that the most know Burn address for ethereum is 0x00000000, take a look and search about it, you will find easy the right address.

There are some options of hiding this tokens in some wallets like Imtoken, trust which I am familiar with. On imtoken, simply just use the off button, while on trust, you just need to use the add button and search the token and switch off the token. Why sending them out by burning gas? It may be worth some pizza some day.

You cannot delete them from your wallet, if you don't want them to be there then you can send them to the wallet randomly or you can create a new wallet address
Sending to any one is not good as its need gas which is no good better option just ignore them and use wallet without any problem as many others doing and creating new wallet is also good but still best option ignore them and use your other coins without any issue on this wallet.
I think that way too, if throwing coins to someone else will definitely require a lot of money, maybe most people have lots of worthless coins in their wallets but if indeed they have a lot of money the steps could have been done, but my advice is better to make new wallet

Where does it say $0? On the wallet? Have you tried to look for pairs? In the mew wallet, even coins with $0 value have value elsewhere. Not all the exchanges are there.
You should never delete a wallet file or burn tokens. Just keep them. It costs you nothing to keep them but could cost a lot if you lose them. The chances they will be worth anything are slim but still there.

If you have so many useless token just ignore it. Send it to another wallet will only make spend eth for gas fee. I dont know what your personally reason but if you really your wallet clean just make another one.

I used to have this kind of problem in the past where i joined airdrops and bounties. Too many useless tokens that i can't able to see the ones that are legit. I don't want to transfer them to other wallets because it would entail cost for me to transfer those tokens. What i do is i used Trust ethereum wallet and used the "hide" option there, problem solve. Only those tokens which are useful are seen.

I think it is best to create a new address and use it. That will save you too much time, and you don't need to waste gas to move them to other wallets

I would suggest that you should not make a hasty decision like that. Just recently, people were talking about projects that were thought of to be a scam or shit and yet became what people started talking about all of a sudden, because they proved they could succeed, even amidst difficulties.
Let it be there and even if you feel like transferring it or not seeing it you just go for another or fresh wallet. You never can tell, in a few moment's, you might see it listed and trading at a good price, with good volume.

You can send them to any burning ERC20 address & foget about them.
I personally don't get so much bothered about those shit coins / airdrop i get, i won't even spend some penny as GAZ to send them to a burning address.
Just leave them man, they won't hurt your wallet lol.

For me I did not delete it Im just let them in my wallet for a time to comeback again but if not Ill change another wallet if I have to. Sometime in our wallet are full of shitcoins coming from airdrop we participated and no value even do we hold it for so long. So if we want to get more altcoins and not being useless we need to carefully to choose so that we cannot let them throw away because of no prices or not listed in exchange.

would you mind tell if how long you usually wait for your coins to have a value  because here ive been waiting forever but still my coins only grow a tiny percent and im now starting to get pissed off or loose hope  . why would you also change another wallet  ? you can just leave them there tho and its not bothering at all . or if you have extra eth , you can just send them somewhere  then voila you wallet is clean again   . there is now way to perfectly pick a project that wont turn into waste so you have to accept that some coins you will be getting can have a zero value too
Sending the useless tokens to 0x000 ETH litter bin is my preference instead of looking at the same coins. The prices on the small exchange don't mean anything for me because the volume is not big for reaching the high prices. If we are in the bear market, waiting for the bulls to overtake the market will change many minds.

Sure, you can send them to whatever address you want, but why? You'll use gas for no good reason... I have about 10 dead tokens, i really don't care. I just ignore them.

I have been really thinking about disposing shitty tokens off my wallet for so long, but there is nothing like delete in myether wallet, I would prefer to waste gas and send them to any random wallet than sending them to a wallet I still hold the private key in the name of separation, do you know why? I have a bounty that I got over 200k of its token but its not worth $1 I can't keep such shit in another random wallet.

So for you, it is more of psychological detachment from the bounty token and you want to forget that you wasted effort. Why not just hide it as suggested by bitmover here? You can't see that token anymore and not spending any gas fees.

I think the better solution is to use a new (safer) address for your ETH and leave worthless ERC20 tokens in the old address. That way, you only move your coin once.

Or you can set your wallet to not displaying your worthless tokens; in other words, your tokens are still there but not displayed.
I think it's just to go by this suggestion, I recently stopped checking my MEW because it's full of shitty tokens. I wish they can be removed totally without even being a burden to someone else if you send it out to any random wallet address.
